Kenny Sailors passed away this morning, 1/30/2016, at the age of 95. The time has long passed to put this man in the hall of fame.

Why isn't he in the NBA HOF, tho? He revolutionized the whole sport! The jump shot allowed 3 of the 5 all-time points leaders (MJ, Kobe, and Karl Malone) to dominate the game. WTH
At the end of the video, it says he was inducted into the hof.
***** That's the college HOF, not the NBA Naismith HOF. He deserves to be in both IMO.

It would be wise to listen to what someone Mr. Sailors' age has to say, and respect it, even if you disagree. In this case he has related the Truth. What you do with it will have eternal ramifications, one way or another. God bless you, Mr. Sailors for keeping it real.

So just because they mentioned God or Jesus, you can't enjoy the fact that this dude invented the shot that made the accomplishments and moves of MJ and Kobe possible?

To this guy, basketball and his spiritual life can't really be separated, so however you put it, what you just enjoyed watching is what he's calling his experience with God, mate. Not much else to it.

You don't have to agree with his views, but I think it's nice that he has something to look forward to beyond the basketball court. I love basketball the most out of all my hobbies, and I think if I had nothing to look forward to, I'd probably be kind of sad after I no longer had the physical capacity to play my favorite sport.
