- RimWorld's Hardest Difficulty bumped up to 500%, without using pause, and only being allowed to have a single RimWorld Biotech Mechanitor pawn!
This No Pause RimWorld playthrough is played against Randy Random, on Losing is Fun difficulty bumped up to 500% (the maximum). The gameplay takes place on a Desert map. Adam is not allowed to have additional colonists!

This playthrough was recorded LIVE on Twitch. As such, I am speaking with chat throughout (even though this is edited). Videos without chat will be listed as 'UA-cam Exclusive'.
*No Pause - I am using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for me to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.
** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

On that note of losing is fun, I had a colony that was at ship launch, and got an itch to raid a settlement for the first time. Immediately upon getting there, 3 colonist got head shot and dropped. Everyone else got melted right after. It was my favorite end of a colony.

Custom scenarios are great. I like to add an annual animal migration, it makes the game feel more "lived in".

Totally agree that people should play however they find fun. If you want to reload to avoid losing, go ahead. Though I would encourage people to occasionally roll with having a pawn die, it can become a crux in your story, something for the rest to rally around and fight on in their memory.
I love that the raiders just gave up after not being able to kill a roomba.

To everyone like that person afraid of losing: play however is more fun to you. Don't let other people impose their own version of fun on you. If Rimworld wasn't meant to be played however you like, you wouldn't be able to change the scenario mid-game, you wouldn't be able to edit the scenario, you wouldn't be able to play with "reload anytime", you wouldn't be able to do so many things which make the game what it is.
The same options that allow Adam to play 500% difficulty allow you to play on Peaceful with raids disabled. Don't let yourself be held back by people who care too much about what you do in your single-player game. So, yeah! Have some fun in RimWorld!
long time lurker, just started a modded playthrough with a biome mod, Alpha Biomes. Some of the added biomes, such as the Pyroclastic Conflagration or Miasmic Mangrove, might be an interesting challange for you. Battling the map itself alongside the normal difficulties you play on.

If I may ask, every since I got the ideology DLC I always see these quest, but during designing my ideology I usually ignore them, if it's a weapon, does having it as a relic increases its power or is it just a sure shot way to get a specific item?
@@michaelrichards5340 As far as I know, you can choose many types of weapons and other items to become a venerated relic for your ideoligion. It will be of Legendary quality for items with quality. You'll receive quests to complete to find this relic. Check out the ideoligion creation menu and look for venerated relic. There will be a dropdown list with all your options, you can choose whatever you like. You can use the items or display them in a reliquary to attract visitors.
If I missed something, I'm sure someone else will fill in the gaps. :)

Noses get shot off way to often, considering they're hard to fix in the base game. Once you're far enough in, it's easier to replace eyes than fix noses. Fixing a nose or certain scars should be a step before bionics, not require injections of nanobots. Differentiating in-game between scars that are easy or hard to fix would require more complexity, though, but it's a bit weird replacing a whole arm because there's an itchy scar on one finger.

Idk if im a fan of the colorblind mode, it makes it really annoying to watch. Cant please everyone I guess. Once I learn what colors are what it'll make it a lot better to watch but until then the videos are just a lil more annoying for me. Sorry colorblind people 😅 I cant imagine much of the viewership is colorblind but hey guess we have to please the small groups of people instead of the majority. Maybe I'm just a stinky, upset, doo doo head, normal seeing person!
