Thanks for sharing and enjoyed the review.
One area to point out is that our formula is free of PEGs, EDTA, silicones and chlorphenesin. While silicones don't bother us we are working hard to eliminate the others from ALL of our formulas that may contain any of them. And of course our Toner contain them so maybe we can get an extra point for clean formulation? ;-)
We also are trying to remove as much plastic from our packaging as possible for environmental purposes hence the glass jar. Even though we know plastic can be recycled the truth is in most cases assortment centers do not recycle it. Currently we are trying to switch the cap to aluminum or post-consumer plastic if possible.
Thank you again for featuring us and the in depth review. Keep up the great videos here! Nils, Co-founder, Good Molecules
There is nothing wrong with silicones in skincare though. Quite the opposite, it’s a good ingredient for your skin.
Any plans of launching in India? We love your products here but struggle to get them!
@@ginnyfergodwin3450 yes, good for the skin, but some (the non water solubles) are bad for the environment
I love that you don't use plastic containers!! Over the past year I've begun to reduce some of the plastic & go more eco friendly such as refillable toothpaste. Skincare & makeup don't offer many plastic free options. We don't have your brand here in Canada. I'm thinking of trying your discoloration serum, toner & retinol. Oh I've heard good things about the stone soap dish. I only use bar soaps from local companies.
I was at Ulta yesterday and a lady was trying to sell me the new 'Juice' toner..I was like errmm no thanks, I need to watch my youtuber's review and then buy lol
Hahaha
Your confidence is growing and I love watching you 🥰
Thank you so much, you're too kind!
@@NOBSBeauty you said it’s fungal acne safe but sacr , ferment I don’t believe is safe :/
I use the Good Molecules toner a lot and I just went through another bottle and I love it so much! Almost is like an essence/serum and gives me tons of hydration. 🥰😻
So glad to hear you're enjoying! Nils, Co-founder of Good Molecules
Nils Johnson yes! The Good Molecules line is an absolutely incredible one.
@@nilsjohnson6837 sir am from paksitan want to use food molecules products for skin brightening and for my little freckles so which products I have to use pls reply
@@nilsjohnson6837 This is my absolute favorite product. Helped my hyperpigmentation immensely!
This is the toner that stopped me looking for a toner. It's perfect for my dry finicky skin.
I love that good molecules uses glass packaging and the formula is great 👍🏽 I have been trying to get rid of plastic in my skincare as it’s destructive to the environment the price the formula I’m definitely down with good molecules
Thanks for what you do. I find myself coming to check a review from you EACH time I'm getting any new beauty product. Sincerely do appreciate this channel. Even though the Paula's choice won this round, I'll go with good molecules..😃 because brightening is key for me. Thank you! Love always.
Oh thank you so much for your kind comment- what a great way to start my day off! I appreciate it so much!
Actually of all paula’s choice toners, i thinkthe skin balancing one comes closest to good molecules cause it has a lot of niacinamide as well and it is the one Paula Begoun uses personally
The skin balancing is an amazing underated toner!! It works for both oily and normal to dehydrated skin, doesn't break you out yet hydrates
I’ve never used either one so your review really helps when I want to try new products. I’d love to see a live. Any day except Wednesday when I go into the office.
I'm thinking Friday, I'm so excited to do a live video, hopefully it goes well 😀🤞
Thank you 😃 ...Paula’s Choice products always get consistently good reviews from many folks. It is definitely a brand on my radar to try.
The one that Casandra using is the electronic ph test where she put a good amount of product in the device and the device will show the number on what ph level the product is. But I like the one u use since it looks accurate base on the color matching on what ph level it is.
Awesome, thanks! I’ve been using the good molecules and I think I’m too sensitive to it ☹️ May try the paulas choice in the future
Thank you for another awesome review 💖 I use a lot of Paula’s products and they never disappoint me; but yesterday I bought the Good Molecules toner and my main reason is because of the Vit C content. I wanted to buy Timeless Vit C …. but it’s so pricey…. I thought I could give Good Molecules a chance.
If you could do the final round live, that would be awesome! 😉 I am looking forward 🎉
Ohhhh, so close! Now down to the final four. I really need to try the PC toner for when my skin’s sensitive. Yes, this was a great matchup. Definitely looking forward to the remainder contenders. Blood, sweat, and tears. It’s crunch time. 😂😂
Thanks, beeeautiful🍃🌸
Paula's Choice has some amazing toners, however, there are so many sometimes it can be difficult to pick out the right one. The other one I love is their Skin Calming Redness Toner, comes in a silver bottle, does a nice job when skin is feeling sensitive. I think I'm going to have to try out their new niacinamide serum, although 20# seems really high. I guess we will see! 😃😊
No BS Beauty I agree. And with so many toners it can be difficult to pick one. Yessss, the niacinamide sounds fabulous!
Thank you for finding out about good molecules cruelty free status. I was wondering about that.
I would think they would want to publicize that fact more prominently!!
@@NOBSBeauty I know right?
Ooh. Not an upset for me. Can’t wait for winning round.
Ooo I hope I an available and I can watch it if it’s live. Oh in last video you asked about ingredients list on bottles I Wish they had them on bottles then I don’t have to save the boxes. It drives my husband crazy that I keep all of them. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Maybe you could try taking a screenshot of the ingredients, or a pic of the box ingredients, and won’t have to keep the boxes. I am the same way about not keeping them around, so I empathize with your hubby 😂
TEE-nuh q😩😩😩😝😝😂😂😂😇😇😇
Dee Dee Bean 😅🙏🏼
Finally a full video!
Paula's choice toner has fungal acne triger?? 😢
Wondering why no one is talking about the new Peach Slices brand now carried at Ulta. Peach and Lily is their parent company. They have lots of snail products. Anyone try them yet?
I LOVE their Snail Rescue Mask and their Snail Rescue Toner- I'll have to review them asap! Both are wonderful products!
I’m layering the serum over the niacinamide toner and my face feels like a dry orange peel. I used the brightening serum 1 time. I try to switch things up sometimes so I can’t say for sure it was these products, but I wonder if it’s overkill layering them. I do use Retin-A too but haven’t for a while. I’m not sure what the best rotation for active ingredients are - and if I shouldn’t be layering some - I used Paula’s Choice 25% vitamin C over niacinamide the other night and am not sure that’s ok - I’ve heard it’s only bad if it’s L-Ascorbic acid (haven’t checked, so that could be causing the irritation). Thanks.
I’m currently use prescription tretinoin. I was wondering if I can use a toner before the tretinoin at night. Which one would you recommend? Thanks a lot!
You definitely can use a toner while you are on tretinoin. The key is to find one that is soothing, Calming, and hydrating since tretinoin can be drying for skin. I've got a few i would highly recommend. The first is the I'm From Rice Toner. It's probably my first pick for you. I've got a lot of friends on tretinoin and they all found that this Toner really helps them. The Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Calming Toner in this review is also a great option as well. The other one I'd recommend checking out is the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner. It's very hydrating and great for acne prone skin. This is a link to the Rice Toner, I'd probably check a few other sites to compare prices, just an FYI ys.style/XmNhy2sELbb
@@NOBSBeautywould either of the toners in the review be good to use if taking tretinoin or even retinol?
have u tried the good molecules facial oil ?
Is it necessary for Niacinamide to be in an opaque bottle? I put some in a small travel size spray bottle that was just clear glass, don't know if it affected it in any way?
It contains Vit C which can be finicky with light
I have the Good Molecules toner because I wanted to add niacinamide to my routine. Not sure why they put ir in a.glass bottle
The glass bottle just makes me worry I'm going to drop it like I have with so many other bottles ☹️
Great question. Most plastic doesn't get recycled at assortment centers where glass does so we went with the choice we believe is long term better for the environment. It cost us more to do so but we think it's the right thing to do. Nils, Co-founder of Good Molecules
Good molecules toner contains only 3% niacinamide, so why call it a niacinamide toner? I wonder what % other ingredients amount to
3% is still a decent amount, but yes, you do have to wonder how much of the other good stuff is in there, and how much water?!
Since it's the primary active ingredient and does most of the brightening work we named the product that. Any more than 3% became too thick for a Toner. Thanks for your interest. Nils, Co-founder, Good Molecules
No BS Beauty i was not able to find anywhere... where they say it’s 3percent niacinamide in it also got no response from the brand ( good molecules)
