I’ve watched lots and lots of videos showing him conducting cases. I’ve not yet seen any judge run a courtroom better than he does. I wouldn’t say that he has a lot of patience, he definitely doesn’t suffer fools, I would say he has temperance. In other words, idiots wear him out just as quickly as anyone…he just handles it appropriately.

I cannot imagine evicting my own child, especially if they had a young kid.
If anything is so bad that she feels there isn’t any other option than trying to evict her own daughter and her family, who are paying rent, wouldn’t she call CPS as well? Since she claims the boyfriend/partner is a “druggie”? (I’d likely become one as well if I had to deal with that woman in any capacity). Or does she not care about her grandchild either? I don’t believe a word she’s saying, it’s clear she’s a liar, and if any type of abuse is occurring, this isn’t the correct way to deal with it.

It seems to me that some pro-se litigants feel that every word that comes out of their mouth must argue their case to the judge. Simple answers don't do that, so they often throw in extra words that show how kind and lovely they are and/or how nasty the other litigants are.

Bottom line, if you don't like living somewhere OR if you don't like your landlord, just MOVE the hell out! I realize the women is confusing with her testimony; however, the tenant ALSO said she didn't like living around this woman?! Remember, they were "homeless" and she offered them a room for rent in the interim!

    • @KittyCrystal

Unfortunately, the law is also pretty unfair to landlords. It's a result of a long history of greedy and abusive landlords taking advantage of the unfortunate. Inevitably, it became easy for worthless tenants to take advantage of this. Judge Simpson definitely isn't alone in giving tenants way too many chances.
