    Our first camper (together) was a teardrop too. We grew out of it pretty quick. Now a couple years later, on the hunt for something bigger to full-time out of.

    Great video! I also have a question. We also have a T@B and want to add a spice rack exactly where you have yours but I'm scared we might drill the holes too far thru and end up going right thru the exterior of the frame. How did you do this without the risk of making a homemade peephole?

  • @ravenoustravellers2985
    @ravenoustravellers2985 8 років тому

    Not sure we'll be able to live in here without killing each other haha! But it looks as though you're doing a great job at utilizing the space. I'm really surprised how much you've managed to squeeze out of it!

    Hey, I've been loving your videos! (Thanks to Exploring Alternatives for featuring you two:) I've been looking into full timing in a class B or truck camper, and now I have this option to consider. Any tips on finding a used one? They seem to be good quality, which is reflected in the price, but well worth it I'm sure. Thanks, I look forward to more content from you! Aloha, Amy

      Thanks! So, we got ours used from RV Trader...but we had to buy sight unseen because they go fast...they actually had another offer 30 minutes after we called. We also did a search nationwide bc we were traveling anyway so didn't mind traveling to pick it up. Risky, but we asked a lot of questions an lucked out.

    • @amyanddax
      @amyanddax 8 років тому +1

      That's awesome, thanks for the advice! I definitely wouldn't mind traveling to get one, but buying sight unseen makes me a little nervous, especially with such a big purchase. I'm so glad it worked out so well for you guys! Happy travels:)

    • @HappyCamperWives
      @HappyCamperWives  8 років тому +4

      Makes sense! There's a lot of good options out there. Have you checked out scamps? You can buy them new for $12k if you don't mind waiting a few months for them to make it

    Awesome video! Thank you! You are a cute couple! I'm fascinated by T@Bs and have looked at a lot of videos online. No one ever shows the inside of the little hatch behind the toilet. Is there storage space behind there? If so, how much? I really appreciate your answer!

    • @HappyCamperWives
      @HappyCamperWives  8 років тому

      Oh how funny, that thing is the weirdest thing! We think it's just plumbing but def no storage. And it comes unlatched a lot... kinda of a pain.

    • @cherylf1851
      @cherylf1851 8 років тому +1

      Thanks for such a prompt reply! Would love to see some cooking videos! I'm assuming you carry most of your food in the back of your truck. You mentioned you cook outside a lot. Do you use a propane stove? How long have you been full-timing in the T@B? Do you stay mostly in RV parks or do you dry camp as well?

    • @HappyCamperWives
      @HappyCamperWives  8 років тому +2

      Well what perfect timing you have, we were just talking about doing a cooking video. We use a small $20 propane stove for outside cooking. We've been full-timing for over 3 months now but on the road for 4. Mostly in RV parks/state parks for now, but dry camping is def a thing we're excited to explore more. Have you checked out our blog? It has some good info about the trip there :) www.happycamperwives.com

    ah too bad you don't upload anymore. We are moving into our T@B 320 in 10 months when my partner retires. How long did you stay in the tiny full time?

  • @krisperez619
    @krisperez619 7 років тому +1

    That's a really nice little setup. I am 5'4" and would be fine but the rest of my family is between 6'1" and 6"4". I would have to camp by myself. :-)

    • @HappyCamperWives
      @HappyCamperWives  7 років тому

    Does the living room table and seating have the ability to come out? I'd love to put a futon on the side with the shower and a desk on the side with the door.

    • @HappyCamperWives

      We wish! You can take the table out but the couch portion is built in.

      Happy Camper Wives Don't know if the prices I see are current, but $25k can buy you a much bigger and also brand new trailer here in Europe. But I think these smaller ones are cool and very cozy!

    • @HappyCamperWives
      @HappyCamperWives  8 років тому

      Oh for sure! We just had a small car with low tow capacity. (but again we paid much much less than that thank goodness)

      Our horse trailer was much more expensive than other brands we could have bought. Over the years of use, we have found that the money went to high quality trailer structure and components. Hopefully that turns out to be the same with those T@B campers. Like it is a little AirStream. We converted horse trailer's gooseneck changing room into a camper with about the same area your T@B has so we can go camping with the horses. Like to know what you discover about the construction quality as you use it.

    • @HappyCamperWives

      We have big dreams of converting a trailer someday :)

    Great video. I'm looking to downsize and become mobile and your camper size is what I'm looking for. I know my dog would love it as well. Who makes this model and where do I find one like it. thanks again

    • @HappyCamperWives
      @HappyCamperWives  8 років тому

      Thanks! This is a t@b s model and can be found new usually along the west coast of the USA in most rv shops. You can also find them used (that's what we did) bc new is super expensive! Hard to find used but if you're willing to roadtrip, you can find one. We drove from Alaska to arizonia to pick our up and bought it sight unseen!

    • @HappyCamperWives

      Happy Camper Wives did you have the cushions and pillows custom made? all the trailers I'm seeing for sale have really ugly upholstery but yours is super cute.
