Thanks lots for your transparent comparison. I find that "vocal modes" are useful for podcasts to reduce bass/vibration at higher volume. I rarely have my headset up to 60% but I'm in a quiet suburb and usually prefer to maintain my awareness. Many others have noticeably better sound than Shokz but also have killer caveats. The value priced G7 have the best sound and actually have some imaging but don't go as loud. The bulkier Mairdi are the loudest I've tried and also sound better than Shokz but mine doesn't have vocal mode. Thanks again.

Having their own powerbank is a huge benefit and in shower singing too (unlucky neighbours!) 😂🎉
It's either me singing or JBL Clip being set to full blast under the shower with windows open - not sure which one they prefer 😂

I've had two pairs of shokz, both stopped working after about 2 year's, I'm looking for an alternative
Can’t speak to the durability of Suunto but the Wing are still going strong and I’ve just kicked the life out of Suunto Aqua (review soon) and they’re pretty awesome too. What happened to your Shokz if you don’t mind me asking?

Do you think the Suunto ones are noticeable louder than Shokz? Checking the specs we can find 105dB vs 117dB for the Suunto (both Wing and Sonic models). Right now I have the OpenMove model, which has 96dB, and thinking of replacing them with the OpenRun model. PROs are too expensive for my use. Dzięki!
Siema! There is a difference but it's not mind-blowing. I'd say they give you extra 10% boost in volume but you won't be blown away by the difference if that makes sense. At least with Wing as I haven't had a chance to try the Suunto Sonic. Standard OpenRun's are louder than first and second OpenRun Pro's mind :)
Porównywałem Wings ze standardowymi OpenRun i potwierdzam - OpenRun grają głośniej (choć jakość słabsza). Słucham podcastów, więc wziąłem OpenRuny mimo że Wings ogólnie są fajniejsze (choć też bardziej latają ze względu na rozmiar). Ale nie wiedziałem o trybie Outdoor w Wings, więc nie wiem, jak to podbija dźwięk.
@@Pulsarekk Mi szybko przyszły Suunto Sonic, OpenRun, OpenRun Mini. Suunto bardzo ciche (pomimo 117dB) i to wyraźnie słychać, nawet zdecydowanie gorzej wypadają od Shokz OpenMove (96dB). OpenRun są delikatnie głośniejsze od OpenMove, ale idzie to dopiero zauważyć przy niektórych utworach. Ale bardziej słychać nieco inny i lepszy dźwięk niż w OpenMove. Ten w OpenRun jest bardziej przestrzenny, głębszy, ale jeżeli chodzi o głos, np podcasty to OpenMove jest taki bardziej donośny, basowy. To samo słyszę w rozmowach telefonicznych, w OpenMove te rozmowy telefoniczne są dźwiękowo lepsze i to od razu słychać. Nie to, że w OpenRun jest tragicznie, ale wyczuwalnie słabiej. U mnie Shokz'y generalnie służą do prowadzenia rozmów telefonicznych w warunkach biurowo-domowych, czyli w otoczeniu raczej cichym/spokojnym. Oba modele dobrze się sprawdzają. Minus w OpenRun to przyciski, są mało wyczuwalne, zarówno ten start/stop (odrzuć/zakończ) jak i przyciski głośności. Powiedzmy, że + idzie bardziej wyczuć bo jest na brzegu załamania obudowy, ale ten - jest słaby, a co dopiero w rękawiczkach, nawet cienkich. OpenMove mają zdecydowanie najlepsze przyciski, najbardziej wystające i wyczuwalne. Porównując OpenRun i wersję PRO, to PRO widzę, że ma przyciski + i - na całej długości dolnej części obudowy, gdzie w wersji standardowej są one miejsce bo jest obok port ładowania, gdzie w PRO ten port ładowania jest z tyłu tej obudowy. Liczę na to, że obsługa tych dwóch przycisków będzie lepsza w modelu PRO.
The new Shokz Openrun 2 blow these away.

I've found the standard openrun actually get significantly louder than the pros. I prefer them for that reason
Yeah, but how long do Shokz last? They're crap for longevity.
Just note that they are far less bone conduction and much more air conduction… which is why they sound better but you lose lots of the benefits of getting a bone conduction headphone. A review i heard from a construction worker who uses earplugs

They get 12 to 14 hours per charge even though they are rated at 10 hours per charge ....

I think all of these has good quality (I have tried Chinese knock-offs). For me even for music these are useable. In noisy traffic (when I do not have to hear my surroundings) I use earplugs with them.

Openrun Pro will give you a cleaner sound but a bit quieter at the same time.
