Join my husband and I as we taste test and review all the chillies that I grew on the allotment in 2023 featuring the hottest chilli I've ever eaten, the 1.3 MILLION scoville chilli 'Armageddon'.

The hottest we have growing here is a Thai Dragon. I have been returning to spices after being pregnant but it took some time. Our child is now able to have cayenne pepper and red hot chilli peppers. I normal over winter our but trying to grow them from saved seeds to have fresh ones this year.

I grew some super hots called hallows eve beautiful chill but it was deadly hot. Its a naga crossed with a habanero. Growing some cherry bombs this year they are good for cooking first and then stuffing with cream cheese and putting in jars with olive oil.
Great vid Katrina, love that as newly weds you do something different, im not a chilli fan but that was great to watch, tears and kitchen roll, great viewing, much love to the happy and hot (chilli eating) couple.

Well done to you both, that Armageddon will make an amazing sauce! Maybe ferment it with lots of brambles as a base for a fruity sauce. Hottest chillies I'm growing this year are 7 Pot Primo, Fatalii, and I'm attempting to grow some monster Dorset Nagas, in pots, in ground, and hydroponically. Short season here in N.E. Scotland though!

I’m LMBO at that last chili! No way! I think the hottest one I’m growing this year is the Datil, and I would never eat it raw. It’s for seasoning only. Thanks for sharing! 😊

Just to jump in here, you are correct in your thought that indeed Avians cannot perceive the heat in chillis and can happily demolish Armageddon chillis all day long without consequence 👌♥️

Hello, Yes Birds are fine with Chillies... Although most will avoid them due to the smell. I have a Robin that eats my chillies in the tunnel. The Capsicum doesn't affect them. They're really good to give to chickens. Chickens get health benefits from them. Chicken owners will feed their flock hot peppers to support their immune system, boost their egg production, stop other birds from eating their feed, or even for de-worming. Congrats on the Marriage. Enjoy life. :)

I have only recently found you and have loved binge watching many many of videos. Congratulations on your wedding guys! I cried at the video. ❤. May i ask what variety yoir ginkgo tree is in the container please. I want to replace my magnolias which have lost all theie buds this year. I think it's the mild weather and now the hard frosts. Id like something that will not cause me a disappointment haha
It’s a ginkgo biloba but if you want to keep it in a pot Gingko biloba ‘Troll’ is more suitable as it stays small. Thanks for watching!

I totally agree with you last year was my best ever for chillies & the first quarter of growing period the weather was not ideal for them.I am not as brave has both of you or is the hotness a practice thing.
Really enjoyed the video, you’re both so brave! I think the jalapeño would have been my limit, I weirdly go kind of deaf whenever I eat something very hot 😂 apparently it’s something to do with the blood vessels in your ears. I guess some people are more affected than others by it! Did it happen to you on the super hot ones?
Would Armageddon maybe work better in a sauce, diluted with heatless ones like Bell? That intense fruity flavor sounds like it would make a good flavorful hot sauce!

I'd be no good at this. I tend to shy away from Jalapenos. They are about as hot as I can handle,so you have my upmost respect.
It doesn't put me off growing chillies however. As you say they are so ornamental looking, especially in terracotta pots.

I don't see the point in this or growing so many super hot chili (one L) peppers. You can only use so many jars of hot sauce and people get tired of being given jars of it for Christmas presents. I grow poblano for flavor and jalapenos or serranos for heat. Anything hotter is just waste of garden space.
