- Rob tastes and reviews 7 freshly picked hot peppers from his Minneapolis front yard garden, and sings a new original song called “My Favorite Peppers.” The peppers tasted are Bulgarian Carrot, Aji Ethiopian Fire, Khang Starr Scarlet Rose, Charapón Amarillo, Big Bang Chocolate Naga, Orange Longtail Scorpion, and Trinidad Scorpion Long SR. #hotpeppers

Don't know how I ended up here but I like it 😊👌
BIG FACTS...
Me, too! 🏆
This shit is comedy GOLD! I'm laughing my ass off, but I'm learning things I didn't expect! 🤣❤️👍🏼
This song is fantastic. I’m going to sing it every time I eat hot peppers, which is every day. 😄
I love it! Thanks!
I dig the silk jacket. Stay weird forever man! Really looking forward to the Trinidad Scorpion Long SR. Thank you for the great, informative review. :)
Thanks Eric! I promise to stay weird. I'll move to Austin if I have to.
I wish you had a pepper seed shop. I'd buy that over clothing merch.
Hi Effo! Maybe someday, after I retire and have more time.
@@7PotClub Thanks for the reply Rob! When the day comes I hold that seed package with the 7 pot logo on it and smile! I'll even buy some red velvet paste! "looks sweeeeet but its deadly!"
@@7PotClub Please do! I'll travel to the US just to buy that! Ill even pay export costs if need be!
SR stands for Sara R. (not standard reference). She was a Trinidadian seed sharer in the early 2000s who was the original source to the community of many of the superhot seed lines being passed around today. Her initials were added to the end of lots of pepper vatieties simply to indicate the seed source, not to distinguish varieties.
Wow, that great to know. I had no idea. This is what I love about the internet. Thanks!!!
The songs are what kept me watching. This man is genius.
Rob, Kang Starr is a distant 2nd behind you for the King of Peppers crown!
Thanks, Kelly! But there doesn't have to be a king. Everyone brings their own gifts to the table!
This has cheered me up so much. Digging the robe and loving the tunes congratulations on a beautiful harvest❤️🌶🔥
Thanks Frank!
Just discovered your channel a week ago, and I just wanna say thank you for the great entertainment and advice. Your videos made wanna grow so much more peppers than I have and the music is just amazing. You rock dude!
Thanks so much!
My one year old girl loves dancing to this song.
That makes me very happy! 😀
@@7PotClub me too 😇
Catching up on all your older content love it!! Your very entertaining & extremely knowledgeable! I’m newer to “being on the bus” with pepper pods just can’t get enough.
Awesome! Thank you!
Eating the Bulgarian Carrot sounds like eating a real carrot. Love it, need to grow these next year
Got second place in my state fair with my Carolina reapers . I would have never gone if I didn’t watch your videos. Got to talk to allot of growers and it was a great time.
Thank you .
Hi Kane. Congrats on your win!
I enjoy all of your videos, but I especially like the tasting videos with several varieties. Thank you Rob.
Thank you, Joe! 🐝🐝🐝
Congratulations on your 2019 growing season. Your peppers are beautiful. It's amazing how many varieties you grow! Always enjoy watching your videos.

Thanks so much!
Great song and love the smoking jacket. Those are beautiful peppers. Congrats on such a wonderful, productive garden. I know you put a lot of effort into it!
Thanks much Kort!
Love the song Rob! Great video! Thanks again!!
Thanks Michael!
Nice song !
Just found your channel last night and have been binge watching! I live in Austin, Texas and you remind me of the really cool hippies that used to hang around this town. You crack me up with the bangin tunes and I just love the quirky, weird and positive vibes you put out. Also, your garden rocks! Keep up the great content!
Thanks Mitch! We love Ausitn. Keep it weird!
The song was great! Love it
Thanks so much!
i respect this
Love the channel and your music!!!...please keep posting me and my family really enjoy your videos
Thanks for watching Nick!
Thanks for another great video. So fortunate to have you on UA-cam. When are we getting a vid on the backyard plants?
Thanks Rawl! None of the backyard plants are peppers. Not enough sun.
Love, love, LOVE IT!! 😁
🎼My favorite pepper... tonight..🎶🎵
Glad you like it Kelly! ❤️🌶
I love this guy! Keep em coming
Thanks! Will do.
Instant legend
I'm growing many things before and now peppers thanks to you. My first is the the indian ghost, bhut jolokia.
WOW!! All the peppers look so tasty!! The Trinidad Scorpion is one of my favorite flavored peppers! As usual., A wonderful video! Thanks so much!!! 🙃❣️
Thanks so much Carolyn! 🌶❤️
You're so genuine that I love your videos no matter how dorky they are haha! We are all dorks, after all ;)
😊 thank you
Awesome season Rob. This is my first year growing peppers and my experiment was a huge success. I learned a ton from you. I planted 5 varieties and 7 plants yielded nearly 1000 fruits.. learned that I do not care for the taste of ghost peppers or reapers. Next year I will do Fresno's and yellow haberneros. Fresno sauce was a hit for everyone. The super hots are just over the top. Thanks for the tips
Hi Joe! Everyone's taste buds are different, but I find the superhots mix well with other flavors in sauces and pastes. Actually, I pretty much like all peppers. I really like the yellow Big Sun Habaneros.
You're legendary Rob
😀🌶❤️
Hi Rob, Lov the song. Thank you.
Thanks Scott!
You're a hoot dude! Keep on keeping on. Lovin' it
I'm loving your videos!
Thanks Jason!
those peppers looked awesome
Thank you so much ❤ i from Trinidad we do have very hot peppers in d world. My sweet country Sweet T&T 🇹🇹 thank you❤❤
Thanks for watching! 🇹🇹❤️🌶
I aspire to have your vibe and garden. Truly an inspiration to me, thank you for making these entertaining videos and beats for us
You are so welcome, Tony! Thanks for watching! 😀🌶
The song is epic!
Thanks Joshua! It's my favorite of all of my songs
All these tasty peppers Rob! Love the song, CHEERS!
Cheers to you, Bob!
You have such a wonderful location from which to promote a variety of diverse peppers and pods. I have really enjoyed this review. Best of all is a grower who knows and appreciates the tremendous contributions to the pepper world as created by the Master of Peppers himself, Khang Starr! -Bob...
Thanks Wran! All hail Khang!
Great song and video, Rob.
Thanks for watching!
Rob your pods are always so picture perfect! I'm waiting for my Trinidad Scorpion Long SR's to ripen .: fingers crossed :.
You'll love them!
Loved the video Rob!
Thanks Nik!
"I know your so hot baby, under the skin". You had me rolling laughing here Rob
Thanks Pascal! 😀🌶
I just happened to find this Channel earlier in the morning & shoot the songs are catchy but what got me was the fact he ate the peppers without flinching!!!! He is awesome & also he was nice & kind to have answered my question 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽!!!
Rob is such a cool dude
🌶😀🎵
Love the mini music video it reminds me of early adult swim commercials and early 90s for some reason lol never seen ur videos untill today but i am gonna be watching now. (Edit) also i subscribed and i dont just subscribe to anything u gotta be different unique and not same old repeat of everyone else on UA-cam
Thanks for subscribing!
Wow. You were a trooper Rob.
Thanks Scott!
Hard to go wrong with anything produced by Descutes. I really like your selections for this video and enjoyed the video itself. Some really great varieties. The orange tail is going in my garden next season for sure. Grown most of the others already. Great video..
Thanks Jeff!
That was strange, yet I liked it. You're a brave man with a good voice. Inspiring. I'm saving this video.
Awesome! Thank you!
I cannot believe you just took a bite out of the Trinidad and Ghost Pepper. I love hot stuff but you are my hero lol
Awesome review ! You do a good job eating all those different peppers !
Thanks Aaric!
Bulgarian Carrot is my absolute favorite among whit the Aleppo pepper, I love it so much that I made my own cross with it. 😊
Awesome video Rob, I always look forward to your songs 🎶 🌶️🔥❤️
Thanks P Lo!
@@7PotClub You're very welcome 🤗
i vote for a 7pot playlist by year with your songs ...
I hope to fulfill that request someday. It's in my platform!
Never heard of or seen any of these. Cool video!
Love these videos🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Thanks Ron!
Dude. You are the coolest. Just had my 7 pot choc SR sprout. Stay rad.
Thanks! You too!
Genius.
Thanks Alan! 🌶😀
This guy kicks ass.
Best thing I’ve seen this tear, I mean year! 🤣
Thanks! 😀🌶🎵
Just found your channel a week ago. Really like the down to earth approach that you cater to these hotties. Love it. I just started my seeds a week ago with Black Cobra, Reapers and Ghost, all purchased on eBay. Hope I get to plant some other types that I saw from your videos next season, once I get a bit more experience under my belt.
Good luck with your plants. Thanks for watching!
Also my family is growing a blue Christmas pepper plant hydroponically and we’re going to use it as Christmas tree this year :-) .
That's a really cool idea!
The music video was lit!
Thanks Kevin!
Wow!! You’re awesome. Helping me with my chillie growing in lockdown. In very cold and gloomy England.
Happy to help! 😀🌶🌱
Great video. Nice to meet you.
Thanks. Nice to meet you too!
groovy music bro! keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Love the brain pausing moments
Soon my whole existence will be like that. 🤯😉
Another great video, really enjoy your channel, this is my 3rd year growing super hots, love making sauce, smoking peppers and of course eating them. I'm thinking about starting a pepper eating challenge next year for our small towns Septfest. My friends and family love my sauces and are starting to spread the word about Purkey's Peppers. I will attempt to grow from seeds next year, i have no indoor equipment yet, but will make a list soon. Thanks again for all your growing advice and expertise. I'm Shannon Purkey, Oak Grove Mo.
Thanks Shannon! Purkey's Peppers has a nice ring to it.
Sexy song, but don’t go touching anyone with pepper fingers afterward!
LOL. You should check out my 7 Pot Paste video!
"The other day I got a droplet in my eye
I shot up like a rocket headed for the sky
If you get it on your hands they’ll be no making love
Unless you want to wear a pair of latex gloves"
@@7PotClub the music has me DYING 🤣🤣🤣...I can tell you're a musician to some degree...the soundproofing on the walls, and the music of course. Blues & rock/metal guy here in Mobile, AL. Love your channel! 😄
Just found, wow. Great Vid. Love, grow hot,hot peppers. Fla. 85 year old grower. 🐻
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the video.
Thanks for watching!
Ghost chillies turns me crazy. Mad abt them.💖💖💖
😂😂😂 Great pepper song !
It's my favorite of all my pepper songs. Thanks!
What size pot do you use for growing chillies?
Clerks meets silence of the lambs I dig it.
Nice review and video! I always wondered what the SR stood for.
Thanks Rob!
Thanks.
👍🌶
I would love to try those carrots. Might have to grow some next season!
They're a relatively common variety but they're definitely worth having fresh. Probably a good salad or stuffing pepper, too.
They look really cool if you slice them in half lengthwise and put them on top of a salad or plate of pasta.
You sir, are pretty awesome. I enjoy your videos and will be trying my hand at super hots this year
Thanks Nick! Hope your pepper grows great!
Total bad ass! Just subscribed.
Love your videos Rob! 😂
It's an honor for you to say Chillichump. We love your videos too, and have learned so much from them!
Thanks for sharing. Have you pickled any peppers? If so, are there certain strains that lend themselves to pickling more than others?
I have pickled peppers, but not recently. I still have an unopened jar I pickled 29 years ago! Our friends Peter and Carmen pickle some of our superhots. They gave me a jar of pickled reapers last year and they were amazing. I think all peppers can be pickled with good results.
Another great video, and another song I'll be singing on my way to work! It's 6 am Friday morning here in Guildford England. I'll be doing exactly the same this evening. A cold beer and a chocolate naga brain, and a piece of BBG peach jami I can't do a whole one.
Love you Rob, take care Duncan.
Thanks Duncan! I get some nasty comments about my music sometimes, so it's good to know alt least some people enjoy it! You're the best! ❤️🌶
@@7PotClubIgnore the negative, take 2 seconds to feel sorry for those with nothing better to do than criticise and move on.
You are without doubt so inspiring. If nothing else buddy you've inspired me to really sort out my indoor grow ready for December as I'll be all festive and sowing. X
Great video rob. The big bang chocolate naga is one of my best producers this season so far I am up to 87 peppers . I am still trying to come up with sauce for it .
Thanks Thomas! Wow, that's a great haul from one plant.
Another great video! I broke out the dehydrator today for my habaneros since a freeze may be in the forecast. I'm pretty sure I saw Fred prowling around when you were showing the #1 pepper.😊
Dirk, you have a good eye. I didn't notice that until you pointed it out!
@@7PotClub your cat looks similar to mine, my feline is very skidding so I recognize him when I see him doing silly things.
Pretty cool vid Rob😎. Hope to check out the charapon and longtail over winter if I have room 🐞🌶🐞
Thanks for watching, Robert!
wow!!! love the music!! this is great! subscribed, where can I can get charapon amarillo seeds???
Thanks Brent! Here's where I got the seeds. www.semillas.de/cgi-bin/shop_en/shop.cgi If you order, please be aware that the USDA is confiscating some foreign pepper seed shipments right now.
Hey. I’m new here new friend. I’m a total chile head myself!!! Whatta great song. Lol
Thanks for watching, Tim!
Definitely had me laughing.
Yes yes yes!!
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Great Vlog Rob, really enjoying your channel. You are very brave with your old digestive tract ha ha. I love spicy but do suffer for it.
Definetly an age thing.
Yeah, I read that the gut flora change as we get older.
i've been tossing around the idea of trying to grow hawaiian chili peppers (completely indoors)..not because i can say i know exactly what it tastes like, but more out of nostalgia. do you have any opinions about those? sounds like you've tasted so many...would i be able to grow them under a simple setup?
I grew Hawaiian peppers for the first time last season. They are very much like Tabasco in size, shape, color, taste and heat level. I'm sure it would be possible to grow them indoors.
Oh the song! I lo de it,
Don't know how I got this video on my stream but you definitely get a like from me just for the song well done sir
Thanks Robert!
@@7PotClub you handled those scorpions like a champ. Hottest I've ever eaten was a ghost pepper and it was all that I wanted
I want to make hot sauce and I got the carolina reaper...well apperantly thats way to hot for me so I would like to mix it with a pepper that has a little more taste and less heat to it...do you have a recommendation?
Some people use bell pepper. Red adds sweetness and flavor.
When review-brah grows up
Bence Jones best comment 😂
love your videos on peppers, this is my first time growing the super hots and for some reason I've become addicted to peppers. I have grown a garden for 30 years, but this year hot pepper growing has taken over my life. I want to grow them all and all year round! What's up with that? {and I don't have room for them all} But thanks, your video's are a great source of information for all my pepper growing issues! lol
Thanks Rhonda. There are worse addictions! 🌶
