Two positive story’s from Bangor,Northern Ireland. Last year, Mum died ,leaving a beautiful Discovery apple tree in our family home of 56 years, which had to be sold. I tried everything from taking cuttings etc. The tree was too big to move. So,I’ve just planted my own Discovery apple tree. Also , for the first time, I have success with ginger. It was planted 20/1 and I have three plants. Happy spring everyone and lovely to see you back.

My dad grew a lovely Discovery apple tree in our family home which sadly had to be sold, so I took some apples from it and grew a tree from the seed, I get beautiful blossom on it every spring which reminds me of my dad, sadly it will never have big apples on it as you need the tree to be grafted, but it’s a great memory too have

I never do well during winter. I live alone with my dog and its very lonely, especially in the long dark evenings, so im sooooooooo excited for the upcoming weeks/months. I hope we have a better spring than last year..
I was out in my garden today. I grow veg and fruit in my back garden. I planted a new Peach tree in a huge pot. Im so excited to see it blossom 🌸 and hopefully i will get some peaches. I also planted my new rhubarb plant. Its also a Timperly Red.. Its 2 years old apparently, so wont ba able to harvest this year 😞 slso got a new gooseberry bush to plant out. Im going to train it up a fence.
I adore Hellebores. Ive now got 7 plants. All fairly new, but looking forward to seeing them grow.. I have a few beautiful flowers too... Potatoes in soon 😊

They seem to be a bit harder to find, but I would love to add a few to my garden.

Strangest winter in NW Indiana, USA. Very little snow(few inches all year), very little cold weather(two weeks of -15C to -25C) Mostly above freezing temps. February getting up to 15C and 20C this week. Never seen it this warm and snow free before. I’m happy for gardening. All of my seeds are sprouting indoors. Prob put them into the greenhouse March 1st. Short winter, early spring is great for me.

Nice to see you again. You're at least a month ahead of us here. Winter has been relatively mild for us with a couple of cold snaps as usual. Since Christmas I've been thinking about what I will grow and do out in my garden this year. I've cut back on vegetables in recent years as I can only use so much and I have no farm animals to feed the excess to anymore. Since most folk here have gardens giving vegetables away is pretty much impossible. With that I've been growing a lot more flowers which makes the garden a colourful and happy place. Dahlias are big on my list of things to grow. I have so many dahlia tubers every year I give quite a few away to local folk. Your hellebores are fantastic this year. I remember the video you did when you went to the nursery where they have a lot of hellebores. Nice to see your pretty little Robin showing up again too. What a sad world it would be without birds and flowers. Take care and happy gardening. Cheers!

Great video, glad you are back on the plot. So much to do at this time of year and yeah its been soooo wet this year! As I was watching couldn't help noticing the fences - I tend to grow peas up the fences having created a boarder for the peas to get transplanted once germinated and are around 6 inch tall (I sow into guttering and the slide the peas into the bed). Using the fences then means I have the usual beds for other veg. Looking forward to seeing how your year comes along.

Welcome back, we have missed you. The hellebores are beautiful, have put a couple in my garden in Cornwall. Have cut back my autumn fruiting raspberries which were amazing last year still have one bag left in the freezer . That little robin is gorgeous, we have two which we now feed off our hand in the garden . Looking forward to seeing your next video soon .💕

Good to hear from you again, out of hibernation! Monday was also a beautiful Spring-like day down here in Hampshire. Birdsong, bees and warm sun as days get longer. I am in the process of rebuilding a large greenhouse that we got as a bargain and cannot wait to get sowing! Wishing you an enjoyable and abundant growing season!

Great to see you back, here in Australia weather has been wild, my tomatoes are not happy . It can be disheartening. Looking forward to seeing your garden happy again 😊🌿

I’m glad you’re back! Most of my goals in the garden revolve around using and preserving more of what I eat. I’ve started canning and dehydrating. I’m looking forward to this growing season. I growing onions and shallots, all from seed though. 😊

Hello love so good to see you today! You are getting some good work done today. You must be feeling better now because you do look so happy and smiling right along. I am looking forward to seeing you regular again. I do see many of the flowers in my garden are a direct result of watching you! I am hoping to grow enough tomatoes that I can can / store enuf to last me the year. So fewer new varieties and a bit more of a production of the tried and true varieties. Hope to see your husband a bit here and there esp if you want to have him taste test chilies again. Take care thank you for this video today!! Steven

So good to see you again . Such extreme weather conditions around the world. We(South Africa) have had a torrid heatwave since December.

i was randomly thinking about you earlier today, and now you uploaded a video i realised how much i missed seeing you and your garden! i tried to pay attention to the hedge at 4:40 but it was difficult when there was something looking really really tight in the middle of the screen as a distraction 😍
