I’ve just brought a van to convert and have been watching your videos , now I’ve skipped a few To get to this one and I cannot believe the change from your £900 budget build…… now I’ve got to rethink everything 😂😂😂😂😂
Check the rating of the voltage that your isolator switch which you are using on the solar can handle. When I researched for my build I discovered that the voltage needed a household breaker as the voltage was potentially higher than the first one which I bought which has the same appearance as the one you are using. No expert but don’t want you to have an electric safety problem. Good luck mate love your videos
Still havent covered or walled the batteries. When something metal falls on those terminals Its going to instantly weld on and glow red hot at that point the metal will set fire to your van or the battery will explode setting fire to the van. Look at vape batteries exploding and then consider what happens when a 200ah lithium battery goes up.
You've got a lovely van there! As a few others have said, be careful with those batteries, the plastic nut covers you have really do not do the job. Anything metallic on those terminals need to be fully covered at the bare minimum (electrical tape will do until you find a more permanent solution), fully enclosed is best practice. I think your not being fully transparent with the price of your conversion as most of your 7.5k budget would be taken up with the cabinetry alone - at least at full asking price. But good video, was great that you shared info on where you bought your stuff like the suede liner ect.
That honeycomb carpet stuff looks the absolute nuts mate really sets the van off this is the perfect camper van vw crafter is exactly what I’m after and the lay out of your van is spot on the only thing il do different Is put a a window in where your tiles are and a maybe a little window up near the bed but other than that this is one of the best looking builds I’ve seen for the money you spent .happy days enjoy mate
very interesting.. I watched your other build and was impressed at what you managed on 1K.. to be honest to me if you can convert a half decent van for under 10k that's good going.. I know how much some of these van cost second hand .. looking forward to see your updates
your van looks sweet young man one day i will have a crafter av currently got a mk7 mwb transit had it 5 year just redone back now fully electric ect and a must admit a bloody love it it’s just for getting away on days off to do my photography and works perfectly well workin a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Hgv driver) i get plenty time to use it keep the vids coming tha class 👍
The max width of this Crafter is officially 1.83m, so have you been able to pinch a bit extra by measuring past the protrusion of the ribs? I assume you've done it both side, yes? And is the insulation you were able to add sufficient, or do you notice it colder in bed now? Thanks fella! Nice van 😊
Hey man.Looking a getting a Transit and living in it. I know you have a VW but same principle. Loving your videos and channel. I was looking at a 4x4 but I need more room. With AT tyres would work. Love also your no-nonsense approach too. keeping it real. My first question is...how hard is it to remove the bulkhead? Anything especially needed to be done or is it just a cut out job?
Good luck with the dvla. My understanding is if you're base vehicle as an N1 CLASSIFICATION on the log book, even if they do show it as a motor caravan or Van with windows, the N1 classification will still be shown, identifying it still as a commercial vehicle chassis, with the commercial speed restrictions still on it. Yes, you could always appeal the speeding fine with photographs and all the other paraphernalia, but it's the time the eye grow and everything else when we are talking about 10 miles an hour difference, the saving and fuel that you will make and the fact that even driving at 70 miles an hour. Instead of 60. Is only two or three minutes faster, but more expensive with speeding tickets, appeals, extra fuel etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.
love you love videos personaly not keen on the top gear videos but could see the amazing effort you put in and was only probably because it was solo challenge not three people , you seam to feel you need a reason for a video but people just like a peep hole into others life i would bet a weekly life update vlog would go down well just finishing work going shoping washing van your thoughts on life or just the week and also when you do a trip or when you do the show videos which are great i feel you could fluff out things and probably do several videos for more content . and dont let negativity get you down , even i thought another tour but new peeps and subscribers dont look at back catalouge of vlogs .i love the interaction with you and your son but realise liitations and privacy issues but 50k subs is amazing be proud of your self and keep making videos of just being you and give it a try making a video of a normal week just being you also a vlog of behind scene setting and moving camera and b-roll angles drone shots . good luck keep it up
My left ear enjoyed this

Nice to hear how you’ve done it to a budget not just an open cheque book ,well done mate
Great video 👍
Your 10 L boiler is that standard or could you get a bigger one i.e. 20 L?
Lol 7500 😂 times 4 maybe (currently converting my transit awd, you are definitely floating way over 20k euros worth components)
Have you had it weighed? Curious to know how much it weighs
Great work on the van.. its a nice conversation
Be carefull on that ladder mate!
love yout vids Buuuuutttt!!! please sort your mic out !!!!!!
What's wrong with the sound? It keeps coming and going
The audio of the video is only playing on one side.
Yea it’s in mono. I’m guessing the DJI mic has been accidentally flicked into mono mode
How many times you going to showcase your van?? I thought one tour would be enough!
@sheilaashmore6015 this is my first van tour for this van
£7500 as if. You must have been given about 10 grands worth of freebies. 3k for the wheels, awning and maxxair alone.
More like £1900 tbh
No sound!
As many as he wants 😂😂
Lovely van that 👍
Have lagun brought out a new model then, as yours looks different from my original.
