I've been watching videos about how to prevent theft when traveling to Europe but I'm only going to Scotland. Did you feel like it's safer there? I'm going by myself and I don't plan on going out at night alone but for the most part, did you feel ok/safe by yourself in Scotland?
@naomura813 I've never once felt like I was in danger, the locals are all helpful and friendly. Just don't leave your bag zipper open when walking around!
@@DerLostPotato Thanks for the quick reply! That’s exactly what I thought too!! I feel like it’s much safer than other super popular, crowded tourist areas like Paris.
depending on which part of Scotland you are going but relatively safe. Edinburgh is safe likewise for Glasgow too but there are some dodgy areas to avoid like in many countries. Watch your bag and always have it in front of you. I travel to Glasgow at least for 6 months a year since my partner lives here and I am from Singapore. People there are friendly.
I love this!!

@naomura813 I went to belgium too, it's pretty safe too! Don't worry as long as you stay alert and don't draw too much attention to yourself
