That mention of stores having 3 days of groceries isn't quite accurate, either. Most stores can only hold about 3 days worth of basic necessities under normal conditions. If the shit hits the fan that it did in 2020, that stuff is gone in 24 hours or less.
My biggest lesson from covid. Humans are more than likely naturally "evil" in the sense that you can look at a tiger kill a deer to feed and go, "understandable, i dont like it but they gotta eat." Then your pet cat will be playing with a mouse, pretty maliciously, until death, where it will then play with the corpse and will leave it laying there once it's bored. You could say the cats evil, or instincts or whatever, but if I know anything from my 20+ years of being brainwashed through the media, is that it's hard work it requires continuous effort to be the "good guy" and when you really are the good guy, most people will view you as a villain to be defeated, and things will get tough and you lose things and people, but it's more of a "they lost you" kind of feeling. Some things don't last super long but based off of how everyone reacted, I am safe if something like this happens again or worse. Money is another thing to save but if you starve because the stores run out of food, money if worth nothing.
I love masks and I hope they outlive COVID. I bought a super comfortable mask from Lululemon. They’re $10 bucks a piece and worth every penny. And they absolutely do make people look better. There are so many girls at work who look like 9s and 10s with a mask on and then they look like a dog the second they take it off. They’re nice to look at while the facade is up though.
