I would like to give you some information.regarding my youth days..I was doing B Sc course in S N COLLEGE ,kollam during 1964 -67.period.There was accute food shortage.then.There was violent food riots in kollam.people plundered food grains godowns Norwich in 2018 when I look around food plenty.Only shortage money prevents one from food access Now there is no paddy field if there is it is barely 0.01 % of what was there in 1964 when people in Bihar ate tree barks to sustain their life.The population has more than doubled since that time.Yet there is no shortage of food grains.The food plenty was achieved through scientific farming discarding our primitive natural farming.Milk production has also increased in spite of dwindling cattle population.All these achievement occurred as a result of discarding primitive farming and introducing scientific methods.
