The guards are truly role models for the young people who visit. I don't understand why anyone would want to touch his foot or boot but maybe the man did not realize what he was doing. Perhaps someone should post a notice that this is a military barracks and warn the public. I wonder how many more years they will allow it. I myself saw the guards at Windsor some 30+ years ago and would never have thought of approaching. They look so young to me, obviously had good parenting and training. It's a real pleasure to see them working with those beautiful but beleaguered horses.

My patience has worn thin watching people being inconsiderate. How do these guards do it! High honors for them!
