Hi great video, I have the old 3.1 jbl and want a little upgrade over that one without spending a bunch, I love my 3.1 killer bass and mine I can adjust bass from 0-30 I see this 5.1 just has low medium and high how did you like that before you did the update? When watching a movie did you get enough bass on low or did you have to bump it up? That’s my concern on this model as mine I can find a better sweet spot for bass and and rest of the sounds, thought about getting it as price is good now, do you really regret doing the update? Or is it now better to find a better sweet spot with sun. Thanks bud appreciate it.
Great review I too own the JBL 5.1 for about the same length as you have and really enjoy it the bass is just astounding. I paid $299.00 thru ABT since then I have seen it as high as $599.00 glad, I got mine over black Friday 2020.
Solid video brother. This was informative af. Btw the internet issue, check if it only supports 2.4Ghz bands. If the network you use is 5Ghz or automatic 2.4/5, and the soundbar is 2.4 only, it may not be able to find the network. I had this issue with my bose 700 soundbar and other devices.
Wow i just bought one of these for my small apartment unit and i luv it...just disappointed..i paid $399.99 for it and checked on amazon today and its going for under $300. :/ think its only for a day for prime members, but if i knew i wouldve waited 100%
The hdmi that comes with it does nothing. I cant connect it to my tv(nothing comes up) Bluetooth takes away most of the power from actual sound I believe.
I never updated the firmware. I still have the low/med/high setting on my bass. Is it worth the update for the 1/2/3/4/5 setting. Is the bass louder now or before the update??

you can add the wifi via the JBL app that’s what I did . Sounds amazing too for the $$
