I don’t understand why these people have to put the SS emblems on these cars …not an SS from the factory. I guarantee you this thing got a 10 bolt rear …a real SS from the factory had a 12 bolt ..rear and it should have a console shifter if it was a real SS.
Watching these videos I have concluded that I want to be like Nick of Maple Motors when I grow up. The only unfortunate thing is that at 58 I don’t I’m ever going to grow up. 😂

Hey Nick, I got to say I like the passenger view because you have a 3 window full view and how it handles as you drive the car. This is a peppy fun car to drive ss or not. I love those 70' Chevelle's. I had a '70 Malibu with bucket seats, automatic with a console shifter. The engine was a 307 but who knows where it is and what's in it now?
Rear fenders had been replaced, you can see the pop rivets from inside the trunk, I expected that. Oil underneath could just be from the oil pan or spillage, just keep an eye on the oil, otherwise I like it a lot.
Not a real SS, look at the back bumper and the dash. Pretty cool car though. My son-in-Laws dream car, but we live in Northern Colorado. Hey Nic, love your videos!
What is with these people putting electric fuel pumps in everything? That'd be the first thing to go in the trash. Stock pump on the block would work just fine.
Flywheel cover theif got it seems like he gets every GM car you get exterior color great seems to run good but GM had some of the green interiors that were ugly

Not true on the shifter. You could get a column shift bench seat SS Chevelle
@@EllisonLowrimore yeah, I remembered that a real strip down version but didn’t most of the real SS come with at least a 396 or 454 with a 12 bolt

@@EllisonLowrimore sorry but you're incorrect. The base engine for the Chevelle SS was the 5.7 350. The 396, 402 and 454 were optional in 1970
