Great video. DP/DR were the toughest symptoms of anxiety for me to get past. They still happen from time to time but because I’m not scared of it it doesn’t linger. Focusing outward is so important to getting out of your head.
Thank you for commenting. DP/DR can be extremely difficult, especially if no one you know understands what you’re going through. Focusing outward is extremely important, but often people try to find solutions outside of themselves. Usually the answer to peoples depersonalization is found within. I’m really glad you’re not afraid of those feelings anymore. I’m not either, and I believe that’s one reason I was able to move on!
Great vid man. I've never experienced depersonalization but I think these steps work with any mental health issues. I've been doing a similar breathing technique for a while now enough that it's basically an automatic impulse when I start feeling any sort of overwhelm, and it helps SO MUCH. Especially when you can nip it in the bud
as an aside, the breathing thing you showed reminded me of this weird funny video called laughter yoga by ramesh padney. It's hilarious and bizarre but actually works so well (not that I really believe in chakras and all that, but he does the hands on the tailbone and deep breaths thing)

yes! I'm glad to hear you're able to use a technique to get rid of and mental health issues. This also works amazing for generalized anxiety.
@@annihilam3408 I've never seen that before! I will have to look into that. Thank you!
