Line-up: Larnell Lewis (dr) · Elmer Ferrer (g) · Rich Brown (b) · Rob Christian (ww) · Andrew McAnsh (tpt) · Jeremy Ledbetter (p) · Joy Lapps| (steelpan) Audio: Radio Bremen
I'm not sure how many times I've watched this. But I am sure I will watch it a million times more. Just a phenomenal solo that fits the music, and yet completely wows the senses. Finesse, power, musicality, and creativity... all the while serving the groove. Larnell you are an inspiration, and a true artist. Love this so much.
For me, Larnell is currently the most ingenious drummer of our time. It wasn't just his breathtaking playing technique that fascinated me from the first moment I saw him with Snarky Puppy, but also his unbelievably beautiful charisma and the presence of a human being whose love makes a whole room shine. My heart absolutely fell in love with Larnell Lewis!
I love that Rich Brown is part of this. Larnell and his collab were so solid I watched their interview and they had amazing chemistry, super happy to see the two of them playing together agian.
Came here for Larnell, but I’m so impressed by everyone of these musicians, and in particular how rhythmic they all are in their playing. Such impeccable and imaginative execution
