Lion King on SEGA gave me so much frustration.....until cheat codes hehe. But the Mickey game at the circus with the vacuums was great; can't think of the name of that one
Did you know, Disney and Capcom had an incredible partnership with licensed games? Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, The Little Mermaid, DuckTales... What awesome games Capcom made based on Disney properties. It was great. Stop Skeletons From Fighting (formerly known as Happy Video Game Nerd) actually has a series of videos on the topic.
Mickey Speedway USA, Kingdom Hearts franchises, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales Remastered, Disney Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (2013), Disney's Aladdin, The Lion King, Disney Speedstorm and Disney Illusion Island
The Kingdom Hearts franchise is honestly my favourite piece of entertainment of all time. I’ve been with the series for at least twenty years and I’ve been apart of the journey ever since. Being part of the hype for Kingdom Hearts 3 was absolutely amazing and it was amazing to build up to it with social media and my own UA-cam channel. I’m so excited for Kingdom Hearts 4.
The franchise has fallen off because of the focus on making as much money as possible instead of focusing on making good games. That's happening with movies and music, too. They're both full of repetitive trash with no original or artistic content.
@@Hollyucinogen It's also happening with TV shows. We now get nothing but crude comedies that no one thinks is funny, like Teen Titans Go. Even the Simpsons is starting to lose its humor.
Kingdom Hearts is legendary. Blew my mind as a youth and I still love it. Best RPG of all time. Is it Disney though? I guess.....they don't embrace it as much as they should Also Speedstorm is a pretty fun freebie
Lots of honorable mentions: Tigger's Honey Hunt (PS1), Tarzan Untamed (PS2), Finding Nemo (PS2), Chicken Little (PS2), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (PS2), Cars (PS2), Cars 3: Driven to Win (PS4), Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End (PS2), Ratatouille (PS2), WALL.E (PS2), Toy Story 3 The Game (Wii, PC my favorite Disney game), and the ultimate gem CLUB PENGUIN (PC)
Kingdom hearts 2 is a much better game from top to bottom, but it does start to show the cracks that would quickly ruin everything great about the series.
Man, this brings back so many memories... ❤ I used to play "Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue" alot when i was a kid! And i also fondly remember playing "Donald Duck: Goin Quackers" as well

I absolutely love this video, especially when it comes to Disney. Epick Mickey on Nintendo Wii, Aladdin and The Lion King on Super Nintendo, Tarzan from both N64 & GameCube (despite it not being a part of the list for a good reason I suppose), those are the games that I've played before back in the days. However, the biggest and bestest Disney games that I've played and enjoyed it a lot were the Kingdom Hearts Franchise games (most of them), whether their great or meh, I do enjoy a good Role Playing game, especially since it was the first Kingdom Hearts game that introduce me to the world of RPG and Square Enix's Final Fantasy series for years to comes. Anyway, great video, and thank you!👍🙂
I find it offensive that Lego Star Wars was not mentioned. The first and second game are so iconic, so good and so fun that it needed a mention on this list. I remember playing that game so many times and loving each an every replay.
I personally love Disney Infinity, Dreamlight Valley, Kingdom Hearts, Disney Magical World, and recently started playing Gravity Falls, Legend of the Gnome Gemulets.
You left off the single best aspect of the Ducktales games: it has quite possibly the best soundtrack of any game on the NES, and the remake allows you to use the original in all its glory.
@ that first hint of the moon theme during the reveal that Della was still alive was the exact moment I knew the 2017 reboot would be better than it had any right to be.
No surprises to know which game is number 1, aka my forever all-time favorite childhood Disney's game series to this day, and still waiting for more new games to come out since I was a tiny 3 year old kid
You left out Spectrobes series. One the few original disney games without any disney characters. I always enjoyed playing Rallen and collecting spectrobes.
Ducktales Remastered and Epic Mickey and Kingdom Hearts 2 and Speedstorm and Frozen Free Fall is giving me nostalgia on the PS4 or on the PS3 or on the switch
My Most Favorite Epic Disney Video Games throughout the years I Absolutely Love playing SO much are Mickey Speedway USA, Disney Infinity, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales Remastered, Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers, G-Force, Disney Epic Mickey & Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (2013), QuackShot (1991), Disney Dreamlight Valley, Disney's Aladdin (1993), Disney's The Lion King (1994), Disney Guilty Party, The Little Mermaid (1990), Disney's Tarzan (1999), Ratatouille, Kingdom Hearts franchises, Disney Illusion Island and Disney Speedstorm.
Saying KH 2 is the best of the franchise is absolutely not controversial. I love the entire franchise, and loved even the not so critically acclaimed ones and I can honestly say that, so far, KH 2 is easily the best game of the franchise. It's like a 13/10 to me. Without a doubt my favorite game of all time (though I still wouldn't mind if certain boss fights didn't happen... talking to you, DEMYX!)
Split/Second was underrated, similar to the Burnout series with a TV series episode setup. played it through twice, one on 360 and then PS3. Wouldn't need to touch up much for a re-release or remaster as it still looks good.
I’m disappointed from some of the rankings, how Disney Infinity is only number 18? How Epic Mickey is only number 9? Why Tarzan, Hercules, Toy Story 3 the video game and Disney Speedstorm are not on the list?
Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue is such a jewel from many childhoods Ducktales: Remastered was and is great joy to play. Even if you didn't play the original version I love Lego Pirates of the Caribbean from start to finish. Although I wish they added more rewards Both SNES and the Sega Genesis version of Aladdin rock! Oh Lion King brings back memories too I am only saying these titles as I still play them nowadays and I don't have the other games that are on this list
Split Second Racing was actually made by Black Rock Studios. Disney Interactive Studios merely just published the game for whatever weird reason so the game shouldn't be on your list. If the game actually featured Disney characters, I'd probably let it slide.
Epic Mickey and Disney Infinity as well as Lego Pitates or the Caribean need to be higher on this list. And why would you have a game on this list thats not technically Disney
You guys should do a Dreamworks video game list. Shrek 2 is one of thee best video games I have played in a long time and I also have to shout out Over The Hedge. A really good game and not that long, so it’s easy to play through.
Toy story racer was a big one for me as a kid and disney extreme skate. Have you guys seen the dude on here remaking all of toy story ps1 it looks fantastic
Number 20, Toy Story 2, was, I think, my VERY FIRST video game. I love it and still do. Maybe it's because Toy Story was my first Disney movie. I loved playing number 13, A Bug's Life because it was one of the first games on my N64 I ever played. I also have the SNES version of Jungle Book, the GameCube version of The Incredibles, two of the three Epic Mickey games, both on Wii, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean for my 360 and Lion King for the SNES I actually liked G-Force as a movie.
Honorable Mentions go to “Disney’s Magical World 2: enchanted edition” and “Cars 2”. “Disney’s Magical World 2: enchanted edition” is very similar to “Disney’s Dreamlight Valley” because it does feature some customization options and its gameplay is also similar to “Kingdom Hearts” franchise. For “Cars 2”, the movie itself may be the worst Pixar movie, but its video game adaptation is a different situation and is also one of the best video games based on movies
My favorite Disney video games were Jungle Book Groove party, Lion King Simba’s Mighty Adventure on the ps1 and the brilliant masterpiece Kingdom Hearts 👍❤️🗝️
what about love for bonkers or the magical quest series? or adventures in the magic kingdom? Capcom and disney were hand in glove, that was a cash cow.
Loved The Lion King game, growing up I had the sega version. Also it has to be my favorite of the Renaissance Era properties. Like the movie it had great music too. The Jungle Book was good, but I think the Sega version is superior, along with Aladdin, yeah, I went there. Of course Kingdom Hearts is a favorite too, and they chose the best one too, well one of the best.
HECK YEAH!!!!! Split Second is my thing! I've completed the championship in first place, and with an Elite car! And...I've complete Lego Pirates of the Caribbean all by myself. Hoist the colors!
I've played ones from number 20 and owned it like number 19, I've played ones from numbers 13 and 12, 3 I saw it being played by my brother and his friends and 2 played and owned it.
No Toontown? The game that, literally so many players loved, that they made not one, not two, but MULTIPLE different private servers to play the game after Disney closed it? Yes, it wouldn't compete with games like WoW and FFXIV, but this was still a lot of players' first mmorpg and is still widely played with one private server in particular, Corporate Clash, creating plush dolls of some of their original characters for charity.
The great thing about TT's lego games is, they use music from the movies. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Incredibles, Marvel Superheroes, and of course, Pirates of the Caribbean! Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are great, KH 3 is bad because of a bad script.
5:50 you made a mistake “A Bugs Life” game came out in 1998 and the movie itself released in 1998. 1993 never had a 3D game, 3D graphics & “A Bugs Life” never even existed back then.
Missing Toy Story 3, that was a great game. I haven't played much of Disney Universe to comment if that's better than the others on the list, and it's been a long time, but maybe it should have been on as well?

Only the first 2, though.
I’d say it’s more of a squaresoft game than a Disney theme, because of square’s deep introspective writing style and direction.

It is disney. Look up how square and disney "own" sora. It's weird
Kingdom Hearts is definitely the best Disney game!
Indeed. One of the sickest collaborations in History.
Indeed.
Are we seriously not including Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure or Disney’s ToonTown?

5:03, DuckTales: Remastered

Me and my brother argue which is better, Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2. Both are amazing in their own way no matter what anyone says.
Birth By Sleep is the best tho!
Kingdom hearts 2 is a much better game from top to bottom, but it does start to show the cracks that would quickly ruin everything great about the series.

A Bug’s Life video game came out 5 years before the movie?! Weird.

Disney Dream Light Valley is one of my personal gaming GOATS! Thanks so much for putting it on the list!
we need Kingdom Hearts IV.
The fact that Disney’s Aladdin had official Disney animators on staff during development owes to its impressive animation.
