I once prayed that God would show me the truth about election from Scripture, and shortly after that, I was reading John chapter 6, and verse 44 stood out to me. The passage from v37-44 is clear: "Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out...And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of everything that He has given Me I will lose nothing, but will raise it up on the last day...No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day."
John 6:64-65 further teach election: " But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray Him. And He was saying, “For this reason I have told you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father."

      Sabbath day (full defence)
      1) God Rested on the Sabbath day (genisis 2:3, Exodus 20:11)
      2) God Sanctified the Sabbath day (genisis 2:3)
      3) God Blessed the Sabbath day (exodus 20:11)
      4) Lord called Sabbath His Holy day. It's the Lord's Day (Isaiah 58:13)
      5) Holy Day (Isaiah 58:13).
God didn't rested on sunday, He rested on Sabbath Day (Saturday). You can't push God to rest on sunday, you can't change God's resting Day in Genisis.
Now circumcision was for the Jews, who were under the promise given to Abraham. Where as Sabbath was for man(mark 2:27) not just for Jews, Sabbath was even before fall of Adam and Eve. God Blessed the Sabbath Day in genisis 2:3. CIRCUMCISION CAME WITH Abraham, SABBATH CAME BEFORE THE FALL OF ADAM AND EVE. SABBATH came before there was sin in the World.
You follow your sabbath and I'll follow THE LORD'S SABBATH.
      Teaching on Sabbath is permissible
      Luke 13:10-13
10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.
      Luke 4:16
16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
      Mark 1:21
21 Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.
      Acts 15:21
21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
      Acts 17:2
2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
Acts 20:7 (notice how the First day of the week is called the "first day of the week" rather than Sabbath Day.)
      Acts 13:14-15
      Acts 13:42-44
      Acts 13:27
      __
      SABBATH day is Saturday proof
      Mark 16:1-2
Notice how Bible says that Sabbath was over and than next day mary went to anoint Lord Jesus Christ. Bible says FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK which is sunday. And also we know that Lord was risen from death on sunday not monday. We also find the same in
Matthew 28:1 ( Notice who Bible says it was the First day of the week). Luke and John says the same thing "On the first day of the week".
Acts 20:7 (notice how the First day of the week is called the "first day of the week" rather than Sabbath Day.)

I’ve only read a few of the examples you have shared. But if you notice the “free-will” you are showing is how man’s free will is bent towards evil and not choosing God. Calvinists believ in the free-will of man, but it’s a free-will that is corrupted by or under the penalty of sin. And until someone is rescued they will never choose the righteous Most High over their sinful nature. It isn’t until Jesus saves us can we choose to love Him back.

Sovereignty means having authority to do as you please as King over your affairs. It does not mean Omni-Determinism.

You nailed it Biblically speaking. Just because God KNOWS what people will choose does not mean He predestined them for hell. God gave everyone the faith to be saved along with the grace to be saved BUT we have to apply that God given faith to join His God supplied grace. Do I take credit for my salvation? Of course not! Did God know what I would do? Yes. Did He make me get saved? No. Is it beyond my human understanding how I actually entered His Kingdom and became part of His Royal Family? Yes!♥️

Please re-read those passages in context, you may get a different understanding of what is being said.
I was raised pretrib, premillennial, free will Baptist. It was by reading the bible in context that I improved my understanding. I now consider myself Reformed, or Particular, Baptist. I strongly hold to the London Baptist Confession of Faith, as did C.H. Spurgeon.
You may not change your soteriology, but that is okay. It is the understanding of salvation that is important. I have no doubt that both Armenianists and Calvinists are, and will be, in heaven.
I disagree with my Presbyterian brothers and sisters about baptism and church governance, too. But that didn't stop me from joining our OPC church and worshipping together. Kinda like John and R.C.

It is Biblical but it is defined incorrectly by Calvinists. The elect are those IN CHRIST that are predetermined for salvation. These ones, those who have obeyed the gospel, obeyed the faith that Christ died once for all...these are those predetermined for salvation from the foundation of the world. Just as Christ was slain from the foundation of the world. God commands ALL men everywhere to repent and obey the gospel. He is not willing that any perish. But He has predetermined that ONLY THOSE WHO REPENT AND receive the Lord in faith will be saved. John 3:16 ❤

Caution: Do not take scripture, verses, out of their original (historic) context (and customs): for example, from an excerpt translated to English, know whom “you” refers to. “I have plans to prosper you” refers to everyone, or a specific group… good video, because it suggests a plan, strategy. Actually, it was because of my willingness to study the Scriptures, with no predisposition as to what they said, that I came to understand the biblical doctrines of the Sovereignty of God and Election. I do not embrace the label of "Calvinist," because I am still a Pre-Millennial, Pre-Trib-Rapture, non-covenant guy. I do not believe the church replaced Israel. That viewpoint requires too much allegorizing for me. I embrace a historical-grammatical hermeneutic.

The Apostle Paul put to rest the heretical ideas of Calvinism repeatedly. In this passage, with the word “God”, Paul is naming the Father specifically, stating He saves (gives eternal life, regenerates) those (all, or some, depending) who hear the message (the Gospel of Christ) and BELIEVE it.
    1 Corinthians 1:21 GNT
For *_God in his wisdom made it impossible for people to know him by means of their own wisdom._*
*_Instead, by means of the so-called "foolish" message we preach, God decided to save those who believe._*

I don’t see the issue, I used to be loose with my understanding of scripture until I was introduced to exegesis and reading the scriptures in context… okay so Calvinists are influenced by another man’s knowledge and understanding of what he read in the scriptures… I don’t see anything wrong with that because that’s ALL OF US on a Sunday-to-Sunday basis at our local church with our Local Pastors. If our local pastor is good with handling the word of God we will learn something new that we might not have understood before or we might even learn something new about something that we thought we understood before. What’s critical is testing what our Pastor or any Teacher is saying to what the scriptures say.. everything Calvin tends to talk about is in scripture and Calvinists seem to always defend their stance Biblically.

I am currently preaching through Matthew and like him I grew up in Dispensational culture and went to a Dispensational seminary, but one can reject the dispensational teaching on the Sermon on the Mount and not become a Calvinist. That was just a weird thing for John to say. One simply wouldn't become a Calvinist in any way by reading or studying Matthew. You could become a Calvinist by reading ancient Manichean or Gnostic commentaries on Scripture, which is where Augustine got it from.

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day."
this makes it plain and clear that we can't come to Christ unless the Father first draws us to His Son. Those who are drawb to His Son WILL be saved and be preserved until the final day. For the longest time I thought we were the ones who come to Christ all on our own because of something deep within us. I also thought we could lose our salvation. Turns out I was wrong because that scripture makes it PLAIN that I was wrong. We are not owed mercy. We are not owed salvation. God isnt fickle nor is He a lying promise breaker. Salvation 100% comes from Him otherwise we have something to boast about.

TULIP is the result of flesh trying to discern spiritual things! When man tries to make God the causative agent of unbelief in Him, you have been taught unbiblical doctrine. The door Christ has opened to God in Himself....no one can shut! HE will close that door someday for those who refuse to listen to God's Son. Acts 17:30, 2 cor. 2:1-6. Those IN HIM are the elect, predestined to be confirmed to His image, chosen for salvation. He is the light of the WORLD, given by God Who is love to the whole world. God tempts no one to sin against Him in unbelief, and rejects those who do sin against Him in unbelief. God is HEALER, God has provided! MAN has no excuse! His powerful judgments against wickedness have been seen since rebellion occurred and HE IS NOT THE CAUSE but the JUDGE! His mercy is held out to all, He is patient with ALL and it is the choice of the individual to obey Him. Calvinism tries to put God in a box and this cannot be done because we do not see as He does. He knows the inner condition of each person's heart!

    The Future Revealed!
The holy Scriptures declare that God would have mankind to know of future events (Amos 3:7; Mt. 10:26; Mk. 4:22; 13:23; Lk. 8:17; 12:2; Jn. 18:20). Those who erroneously teach that no one may know when the Rapture of the Church or the Second Advent [2nd Coming] to earth by the Lord Jesus Christ will take place (Mt. 24:36; Mk. 13:32) are ignorant about: 1. The prophetic significance for each of the seven holy feasts of the LORD (Lev. 23). 2. The three stages of a Jewish marriage (Gen. 24:1-67; Mt. 2:18:25; Lk. 1:26-27). 3. The five questions and answers in what is known as the “Olivet Discourse of Christ” (Mt. 24:3-26:2; Mk. 13:3-37; Lk. 21:7-36). The people of Israel and their religious leaders should have known of the First Advent of the Lord Jesus UNTO His own (Mt. 16:1-3; Lk. 12:54-56; 19:41-44; Jn. 1:11; 12:46), just as all Christians should now know of His two future returns (Lk. 17:22) known as the Rapture FOR His own (Jn. 14:1-3) and His Second Advent to earth WITH His own (Rev. 19:11-16).
Mary, was impregnated by God, the Holy Spirit, during the Feast of Passover in 4 B.C. John the Baptist was born on the day of the year with the most sunlight which is June 21, 4 B.C. Jeshua /Joshua/Jesus of Nazareth was born six months later on the day of the year with the least amount of sunlight which is December 21, 4 B.C. He declared, “I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark” (John 12:46). He fulfilled the Age of Law and began our current Age of Grace with His death on the Feast of Passover in 30 A.D. (Mt. 5:17-18; Lk. 24:25-27; Jn. 19:30). The Age of Grace will end with His “Second Advent” to planet Earth (Zech. 14:1-11; Acts 1:10-11; Rev. 19:11-16) on the Feast of a Day of Atonement [Yom Kippur] (Lev. 23:26-32) on 9/30/2028. The Church Age began 53 days after the “Age of Grace” on the Feast of Weeks [Pentecost] (Acts 2:1-47) and will end with the “Rapture” on the Feast of Trumpets on 10/4/2024 (Mt. 25:1-13; Jn. 4:35-38; 1 Cor. 15:51-53; 2 Cor. 11:1-2; 1 Th. 4:13-5:11; 2 Th. 2:1, 3; 2 Pet. 3:3-6; Rev. 3:10-11; 22:7, 12-13, 17, 20). The 80-year generation (Ps. 90:2, 10) that will see the fulfillment of all that the Lord Jesus foretold in his Olivet Discourse (Mt. 24:3-26:2; Mk. 13:3-37; Lk. 21:7-36) began on May 14, 1948 with the rebirth of the nation of Israel and will end with His return to earth on 9/30/2028.
Israel will win her wars with Hamas and Hezbollah ending with the nuclear destruction of Damascus, Syria (Ps. 83; Isa. 17:1). Israel will then have a sense of peace and safety (1 Th. 5:3). This will cause her to remove all of her walls (Ezek. 38:11). Russia, with her allies, will then attack the USA and invade Israel (Ezek. 38-39;1 Th. 5:3). Only God will assist in Israel’s defense and will defeat her enemies to the amazement of the world. Israel and the leader of the European Union, Matteo Salvini of Italy (Dan. 7:7-8; 9:26; 2 Th. 2:1,3; Rev. 6:1-2; 13:1-8), will then sign a seven-year [2,520 days] (Dan. 9:27; Rev. 11:3; 12:6) defense treaty in 2025. God will then reduce the number of hours in a day to 16 by increasing the rotation of planet Earth (Mt. 24:22; Mk. 13:20; Rev. 8:12). God is presently judging mankind by way of corrupt politicians, wars and rumors of war, famines, unstable economies, changing and erratic weather patterns, pestilences, and natural disasters like earthquakes and active volcanos and tornadoes, along with water and food shortages for rebelling against Him. We are now living in the “Beginning of Sorrows” (Mt. 24:4-8). Humanity will soon suffer unimaginable hardship as God intensifies His judgement upon the world for rejecting Him and His Holy Word (Mt. 24:21; Mk. 13:19; Rev. 4:1-19:21). Before you have the authority to teach you must know more about the Bible. Going to a church that teaches anything that is NOT scriptural can only be known by someone who reads the Bible as if GOD WOULD JUDGE THEM FOR BEING DECEIVED BY A FALSE CHURCH AND PASTORS! (actually, the word pastor and elder are the same word so if your teacher or preacher calls himself pastor, he isn't being scriptural anyway) If I was too uncomfortable confronting someone about teaching something that's not found in the Bible then I should not be a Bible teacher! Things like Calvinism, the Rapture, Pre-millennialism, the sinner's prayer, being saved by asking Jesus into my heart, thinking the Holy Spirit is speaking to me or pretty much 98% of all denominations, I mean the list is endless, but you MUST read the Bible as if you need to become smarter about the Bible than the false teacher you listen to the most. Becoming a Bible teacher is probably the scariest if you truly understand that God will hold you personally responsible for people's souls going to HELL because you were deceived by Satan, and you believed false teaching yourself and spent 20 or 30 years as a "Pastor" teaching false religion to millions on the internet and in church buildings. I mean, you only live once, right? If someone is aware that they are teaching doctrine that is not in the Bible but let's say 50 million people believe that doctrine, then wouldn't you think that person would understand they're not going to heaven and no one they are teaching the false doctrine to will either? I think most Bible teachers that are "called to Ministry" in today's mainstream Christianity don't do it for reasons they read in the Bible but for false teaching reasons only. Getting more people in the building is the first red flag and building giant churches that employ more than 2 or 3 people is another red flag. Going to services and only 1 or 2 people carry Bibles into the building is a huge red flag and then there is youth programs that don't include bible studies instead of sports, or just hanging out and then there is the whole Rock Band thing that almost every unscriptural false teaching church has these days...in closing I have studied collectively for almost 40 years : Bible history, Church history, all religions, Greek text translation, hermeneutics, the dead sea scrolls, all denominations and the doctrine they claim to believe, Pre-millennialism, AD 70 Doctrine, Calvinism, the Reformation and I can honestly say that 98% of all denominations and non-denominational churches also do not teach the truth of what they claim comes from the teachings in the Bible. Beware of false teachers! This statement was made by Jesus and all other writers of the New Testament. If you do everything the Bible teaches, in context then you will know you tried to do God's will but if you let your "feelings" lead you, you probably will not be in eternity with God. The Bible is true-check every word your being told with an open Bible. If anyone teaches you something that's not in the Bible- they are teaching false doctrine, then after you are sure your teaching sound doctrine from God's Word then feel free to become a minister, preacher or an evangelist but remember the word pastor means elder or even bishop and these men will always be overseers of a congregation and over any preachers of God's Word. There is only one church and Jesus is the head of that church. Who has the right to interpret Scripture?
As the very word of God, Scripture comes with the authority and sufficiency of God, and therefore Scripture is not subject to the interpretation of any man or body, but rather Scripture interprets itself.

"Calvinism" was not started by Calvin. If he were alive today I think he would give the credit to the Holy Spirit.
Total Depravity - As a result of Adam’s fall, the entire human race is affected; all humanity is dead in trespasses and sins. Man is unable to save himself (Genesis 6:5; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-18).
Unconditional Election - Because man is dead in sin, he is unable to initiate a response to God; therefore, in eternity past God elected certain people to salvation. Election and predestination are unconditional; they are not based on man’s response (Romans 8:29-30;9:11; Ephesians 1:4-6, 11-12) because man is unable to respond, nor does he want to.
Limited Atonement - Because God determined that certain ones should be saved as a result of God’s unconditional election, He determined that Christ should die for the elect alone. All whom God has elected and for whom Christ died will be saved (Matthew 1:21; John 10:11; 17:9; Acts 20:28; Romans 8:32; Ephesians 5:25).
Irresistible Grace - Those whom God elected He draws to Himself through irresistible grace. God makes man willing to come to Him. When God calls, man responds (John 6:37, 44; 10:16).
Perseverance of the Saints - The precise ones God has elected and drawn to Himself through the Holy Spirit will persevere in faith. None whom God has elected will be lost; they are eternally secure (John 10:27-29; Romans 8:29-30; Ephesians 1:3-14).

Soli Deo Gloria. *But… Are you sure you are giving the glory to Him?* When you distort the character of God by making Him look more like Shiva (the Hindu god of destruction), than that God of incredible love, patience and mercy from the Bible; The One who commands you to love your enemies and forgive them always!… Are you giving Him glory? Because... friend, let's be honest. A “god” who creates billions of souls to be sent directly to hell, without any option to save themselves… is an extremely cruel god. He is not the God of the Bible.
When you tell a sinner that Jesus has only died for a tiny portion of humanity, and that it is very, very unlikely that he is among them; even though there are *several* texts in the Bible that claim that God sent His Son in ransom for humanity, because He doesn't want anyone to be lost... Are you giving glory to God? Sure?
Could it not be... That in the most hidden and deep part of your heart you are giving glory to yourself?
I will explain. One can easily feel special, even better than others, when he hears that he has been chosen by God.
Because a “god” who sends people who are better than you to hell… doesn't make any sense, right?
Without a doubt I must be better. No choice. God must have seen something special in me to not care about destroying billions of souls and staying with me. Because I take it for granted that you don't think that God saves his 4 chosen ones by lot, right? I hope not!
But there is a big problem, that “god” who chooses for something he finds in the person, is not the God of the Bible. He is no respecter of persons (Romans 2:11). That is, He does not favor or lean toward some people more than others for any particular reason or affection.
That is, for Him, you and all those who are going to end up in hell are exactly the same. Rebels. Sinners. Get this deep in your head. And repeat it to yourself, over and over again, until you really understand it. Because this is a serious matter.
But it is true that the Bible speaks that we have been chosen. But then? Based on what? How can God choose without violating His character and not based on anything that is in man?
Very easy. He opened the door of Eternal Life to *ALL of his creatures.* And he says *to ALL of us:* Do you want to enter with me? Those who freely answer “Yes” to that call, those whose answer He already knows before the foundation of the world, are His chosen ones. (Romans 8:29).
And certainly this speaks to us of a God of immense love. Love far superior to the human one, who easily makes preferences.
Let us be very careful, lest, pretending to give glory to God, we may be found liars. For the heart is wicked and deceitful above all things.
    (Jeremiah 17:9)
