You realize how unique Amy's voice is when you see other people trying to sing her songs. She composes her songs in such specific way that it's only really good in her voice. Btw the cover was good, congratulations to the musicians involved
This is largely true for any singer that composes their own shit. Much of the music industry is populated by "artists" who are largely just human instruments; performing what other people have created for them.

I am a HUGE Evanescence fan and not many people can successfully pull off Amy Lee’s vocals but Addie nails. it. every. time. I can’t wait to hear more!

Her vocals are even more powerful in this one. I love the stretch parts so much. So much emotion and power!
I personally think/hope it is a different interpretation of the lyrics. In the end of the day, Amys voice is way more oriented to the heart and soul. Whilst I love Addies "full on american" voice in songs like 'Popular Monster', it feels a bit off in terms of feeling in songs like these. What makes this song from Evanescence so great is... Amy voice feels like it is screaming from the inside of the heart and soul to the head and making it confused, comfortable and broken at the same time. It's nothing against America and their livestyle, but Addies voice is much more "American" (screamy, forward, pronounciation) than Amys, so at least for us europeans (especially non-english-speaking) Amy voice expressions feel much more natural to the heart.
Still a great cover :).

Never heard this song before! It's beautiful, and you all killed it! Just woke up and I've listened to it 3 times already! Addie's vocals were sublime! Big ups to Lindsay, she was very animated and was exciting to watch and she looked great doing her thing! Brad was awesome as well.
I first heard this song when I was 11 and couldn’t remember the name. I finally found it on UA-cam and learned the lyrics when I was 15. This was the first song from this genre I ever liked.

Perhaps one of the best Evanescence tunes and this is an awesome cover of it. Loved this. I've been a fan of that band since they came to fame back in the early 00s.
