I love all these Evanescence covers lately. While this song is mainly about toxic role models/body images for women it can also be interpreted as being about fake social media where everybody's life seems so amazing and perfect but they only show you the best side of themselves. It's 1 of the reasons i left social media. Keep up the incredible work

Seriously, when was the last time your experience on UA-cam was even remotely influenced by any other specific user (i.e. not just aggregation into algorithm inputs)? How about excluding content creators? Can you even see anyone else's activity? There are plenty of (mostly negative) reasons to lump YT with social media, like being designed for usage addiction, bulldozing user privacy, and opaque censorship from the privileged position of a monopoly platform. But those are all pretty effectively distilled to pure form, leaving the "social" behind. Nevertheless, hats off to anyone who's managed to purge social _and_ social-adjacent media entirely from their lives. This is the one platform that got its hooks in me, and until the good content creators actually have somewhere else to go, I don't unfortunately see that changing.

I really loved the musical scoring and arrangement, the nearly identical guitar backing track, and I especially loved how Addie's and Audra's vocals really took it to another level. This song wasn't meant for two voices, but you ladies pulled it off spectacularly. The outfits weren't bad either -- perfect for the stage or for just a day at the beach (or in Addie's case the desert, she's an Arizona sweetie from Fort Huachuca!)
