RDL, Why did a spoiler think they should open up an autoshop... ...So that they can tag a spoiler on the De-Lorian. People hate them telling the future but added a nice spoiler to that time machine, people okay with it. **SPOILER** the One Piece is real! Alright not funny. I'm outta here. 👀
She really is. She loved her dad so much and knew he missed his sons and Gazef so she sent him to see them. Having a dog was a big responsibility but she fed and played with him everyday. The orphans were never hungry again. All the slavery, prostitution and narcotics were eradicated. There was no more infighting between the nobles. The kingdom prospered under the rule of the Sorcerer king. Happy end🎉
I like how y'all are thinking that Mare is Nicest of the sibling, while *He* ( *yeah Mare is a boy dressed like girl* ) is in fact the one we've seen catching bodies since season 1, the one who dragged women by the hair, who cracked heads wide open with his staff and the one who killed an entire army by splitting the ground and closing it on people. He is just shy.
If I remember correcty the LN (not 100% sure), Hilma was thinking his shyness was an act : his ostensible shyness was not in accord with his cold eyes ?
@@nnightkingj Nah, Ainz did had a monologue that Mare is equip solely for mass genocide/destruction. It's just that Bukubukuchagama likes contradiction when making NPC
He cried because he couldn't destroy one city with one skill. He felt that his skills were not strong enough. Although he felt that his skills were weak, but he still accepted it because it was a gift from Bukubukuchagama. So, no, he doesn't care at all with women or children, or with humans as a whole.
Fun fact: The ninjas that were morally supporting Mare are called "Hanzos" and all the NPCs complain about them since they are always Ainz' go to when just going out to do random stuff.
7:50 “The sister is worse. She dragged the girl by the hair, but this one is very shy.” No, that was Mare. His naivety and shyness combined with his ruthlessness and OP power makes for an entertaining character.
I can see why people forgot the genders only because those soldiers said "boy" to Aura. Mare was great this ep. That cheering part was freaking adorable.
Mare not only drug her by the hair but he also smash her leg to make sure she couldn't run away. He doesn't care about killing humans if that's what Ainz wants.
Note that the NPCs outside the throne room refer to Climb as "the last human in this castle" hinting at Reiner's transformation and another fun fact, they have ways to resurrect people without the loss of motor functions and stuff, Reiner didn't want that because she wants to take care of Climb while he is weak as you guys mentioned
Yeah, I think Climb is eternally paralyzed from the neck down. He can't even speak or eat properly without her. She was always hoping he'd get near mortally injured while working as a knight to protect her so that she could take care of him. Ainz just gave her that wish times a million. Both immortal but Climb is bed ridden for that eternity.
@@ndt7379 climb isnt paralyzed from the neck down what are you talking about...its the same as with that lizard man where he needed time to adjust to being revived. He is alright in light novel and becomes demon himself...
@@ndt7379 Climb isn't paralyzed, he just weak from his resurrection. He's going to recover but Renner wanted him bedridden for a little bit so she could take care of him
Renner wasn't tortured, she had to make a sacrifice ritual for using item 'Seed of Fallen' to change her race. So when Climb will use such item too he would have to made such ritual - and it could be 'painful' (morally) to him. Renner sacrificed children from the orphanage she visited in the last episode. She feeded them with poisoned food (remember, she was talking about food when she left the orphanage). So, it's cruel sacrifice is needed for using the item. And Renner thinks it could be painful, hard for Climb to do such things. Such ritual she ment by 'testing loyalty'. She just lied to Climb.
😂 Renner wanted an eternal love with Climb and she got it, immortality, security, authority and an eternal love. 😂 Most successful character so far who benefit from Nazarick. She was so smart she caught on so quick and read the flow perfectly unlike the whole kingdom who stuck with their medieval mindset. The Baharut king and the Quargua king were pretty quick to pick shjt up so they avoided a total annihilation. Also, the ice maiden mentioned Climb was the only human in the castle while Renner was there. Mare was worried he couldn’t kill everyone and fail his job. I was disappointed they didn’t show his massive aoe magic but we got Renner singing so I am kinda fine I guess. Aura was retrieving the Balphomet devil goat statue in ss2, it was a “gift” of Demiurge creator for Demiurge. It has high “emotional” value.
climb is so lucky. out of everyone in his kingdom, his ending is getting blown by princess renner for all eternity and everyone else got a meaningless death or tortured to death.
To be clear, Mare doesn’t give a crap if anyone suffers. His only concern was to kill everyone in the city with no on escaping. If they died slowly and in terrible pain he would have been ecstatic with that so long as no one got away because those were Ainz’s orders. He was tearful because he was worried that the abilities given to him by his beloved creator, Bukubukuchagama, wouldn’t be enough to guarantee no one would get away, which would mean he failed her and Ainz. She gave him his powers, and Ainz ordered him to use those powers to kill everyone with no one escaping. Since neither of those two could make a mistake ( because they’re his Gods), if even one person got away he would have failed them. Buku gave him the powers that weren’t sufficient to one shot the whole city, and Ainz is all knowing and all seeing (in Mare’s eyes), so any failure wouldn’t be on Buku not giving him enough power or Ainz giving him a task he can’t fulfill with his power set, it would be on him for not succeeding, no matter how impossible the task.
I feel bad for Renner💀 She's been through a lot. Her brothers died. She was forced to kill her father. She was forced to betray her kingdom. Her Climb died but thankfully was revived. And now, she was forced to became a demon. She was the most pitiful human in the whole series💀 She didn't deserve any of this💀💀💀
notice how renners flower was white till she killed the orphans to open the class change box then she had a red flower and once she fully changed she had a black flower, also notice at the end the throne of rubble has the kings crown on top meaning they went to the wharehouse and got the crown climb hid just to put the cherry on top for effect
@@sanctamachina when Princess thank Albedo they talk about poison in food, then only food that she made is the stew that she made and give to the orphanage , I think all children was poisoned from that food and died all
> 4 full seasons (including a rewatch for 2 of them) and they’re STILL calling Aura a “boy” and Mare a “girl.” @@YaBoyRockLee and tha's why we love you guys 🎈😋
@@asero82. 😂😂😂😂. It’s Shameful but i promise we know they cross dress. Just addressing them gets confusing. Now a days if you dress like a girl…that’s what you identify as….but this show is the exception to that programing. So if I’m just talking on the fly, I’ll screw that up.
27:30 no they didnt torture renner , renner was afraid cos this was her at her most vulnerable stage she was afraid that now they no longer needed her so she was afraid they would kill her if she wasnt useful so she makes sure to show her full smarts for ains, also what will hurt climb is killing people to open up that class change box the way renner did with the orphans
Renner did not undergo torture, and Climb is not going to undergo torture, Renner most likely herself is gonna propose his so called trials to manipulate him into falling for her even more. Renner was not really scared of Albedo, she was just scared/worried because she did not expect Ainz to play the role of the villain himself, and Albedo, Demiurge, and Pandora’s Actor to be as smart as they were. (These 4 people are the current smartest people in this world.) On another note, the ring raises someone’s physical limits by 5 levels which would be really good on anyone but for someone to be a threat with that ring, they would need to be a higher level threat than Climb with his level 16. (I like to believe Climb is level 20, because he can more or less defeat people who are in their level 20s)
Actually renner was genuinely nervous with albedo, demuirge and ainz. She views them as superior to herself and she was only hoping that her contributions would be viewed positively.
And more, Ainz played the villain with Climb in the throne room : we know he probably liked it, but for Albedo and Demiurge, it's a role beneath his stature...
Didn't Renner need to do acts of atrocity to get negative karma? Like poisoning the children at the orphanage, killing her father and countless others. I assume It's required for her race change to Imp. Thus if you think about it, Climb... is going to need to forsake his very last fibre of being to be together with Renner.
She's afraid of Albedo here's that part in LN. Renner kept her head down until she heard the sound of the door being closed. She breathed a huge sigh of relief. Mixed in her breath were lingering sensations of fear.
Renner is scared of Albedo now. Before, they were on good terms because they were both girls in love. But Albedo was PISSED that Ainz had to personally intervene due to Renner’s plan failing on that last ten percent, or at least that’s what Renner sensed. Before, Renner felt she had some leeway so she said in the LN that she had been planning on holding back from her true abilities a little bit so she could show off in the future if she felt she needed to. But now she knows Albedo is angry enough that she’d take any excuse to punish and possibly even execute her,so she’s going full out from the start. She’s fallen under the SASUGA AINZ SAMA spell herself, since she’s convinced that Ainz engineered the failure of her original plan because he knew she was planning on holding back so he cornered her to make sure she doesn’t.
12:15 I just noticed something in part of what you cut out. The ice lady at the door messed up. She called Climb "the last living human in the castle" She almost gave away the whole ruse, by revealing that Renner wasn't human anymore.
the creepiest part about all this: that princess had a sinister look about her on many occasions but the moment you realize she was playing Everyone, including her now forever lover, so she could live on as something more than a human... it's scary. like how Mare saw him and told him to leave cause they couldn't kill Climb. it's unsettling to look back now and lord knows what else was hinted but hard to pick up on at the time.
I took Renner's nervousness infront Albedo was that she finally passed her test which was successfully razing her kingdom to ashes, she really wants to be accepted because Nazaerick can give her everything she's ever wanted but they can also deny her those things on a whim if she's unworthy.
She was nervous because albedo is a higher level yandere with enough power to destroy the kingdom alone. And albedo was displeased cuz ainz himself had to act for renner's sake .
Reiner kinda admires Demiurge and Albedo not only because they gave her everything she wanted but because they acknowledged her intelligence and authority which her family never did, if you look back they always underestimated her and her brother was one of the few who kinda knew how smart she was, she was kept away from politics by all of her family, literally sometimes, locked in her room, this in turn made her start resenting all of it, all of the kingdom and all of her family untill she didn't care about any of it anymore, then she met Climb, starving and about to die in the streets, and he basically worshiped her instantly, she then fell in love with him like a pet and conditioned him through emotional manipulation to be basically unable to disobey her no mater what
In the end of vol 14 of the LN, Renner's character sheet is changed, obviously her race and level distribution was changed to the demon stuff, but among other things her hobby now is having sex with Climb. As they both are gonna be immortal, they will be doing it for the rest of eternity.
Mare didn't care if any of them suffered or not, not a lick, he was worried about any of them escaping, so they were worrying about doing it in such a way they follow their order to leave none alive to the T lol. They are like in the top 3 most sociopathic members of Nazarick, I read that the author is scared of writing a chapter from Mare's perspective, he might be adorable, but he will body you without a lick of remorse. Also Mare is the Boy, and Aura is a Girl. Demon Renner has that demon DRIP!
18:56 she didn't give a fuck about the kingdom, not the kids at the orphanage (who she poisoned with the food she gave them, LN reader told me), not her dad the king, not her brother Zanac. She's a yandere, and all she cared about was her little Climb-kun. They even showed Climb trying to stand up to Mare right before he destroyed the whole city, he stopped and saw the smoke but he can't go. To her, sacrificing "a single kingdom" of literal nobodies to spend eternity with Climb as demons was a very worthwhile endeavor. It's interesting how Zanac went THAT far just to make a stand against Ainz even though it was a suicide mission, not knowing his sister is the one who came up with 90% of the plan that brought down their own kingdom. Poor Zanac, rest in peace. Her dad offered his head too. But she offered her allegiance. This whole season was just about how Renner's winning at life with the most sus methods. She gets to put that second Seed of Fallen inside Climb, or use it on him somehow, and he becomes a demon, they spend thousands of years together. Well I guess Climb being her pet more than anything. Overlord is dark fantasy but Renner turned her dark fantasies into a dark reality for Climb. 9/10 overall.
I actually enjoy when you guys share your theories, and how you come up with them. That's the reason why I subscribed. Other reactors literally just react and nothing else. Your crew's thoughts are always interesting and entertaining. Don't let some viewers' comments discourage you. They just forgot you're blind reactors, which should be the essence of any reaction channel. You're reacting to the anime, not the manga. But then again, I'm sure some meant well, by sharing some lore about the anime, and just didn't phrase it properly.
I think the item Aura was looking for was the little goat armed statue that demiurge left behind in the previous season that he used as justification for the fake war
"If this was a story, your rage would call forth the hidden power within you (Hero) in order to cut me (Evil) down, but this is reality, such a thing won't happen" -Ainz Ooal Gown (Overlord)
They explained in the light novel the reason why Climb is so weak when Renner first talks to him. It's because resurrection spells usually drain a couple of levels from the person being resurrected; Climb being only around level 16-20 it severely drained his strength, Ainz offered to relieve him of this issue by use of potions or magic on Climb, but Renner told him she preferred to nurse Climb back to health as he would have remained completely dependent on her for his care. Also the reason Renner told climb he would have to go through some shit is because in order for the Seed of the Fallen to work and turn the holder into a demon they would need to lower their karma rating by a lot. Renner did this by poisoning all those kids and caretakers at the orphanage so suffice to say Climb will have to do some horrible things for Renner in order to become a demon as well.
Climb isn't weak at all by new world standards. Remember, he even beat Succulent, one of the eight fingers (who were supposed to be these super strong badasses) - he just reached his level cap. He has no more potential in terms of level. The only reason he seems "weak" is because he hangs out with Gazeff and Brain, who are supposed to be the absolute one in a billion peak of human swordsmanship. But whenever you watch him fight, you'll realize he's creative as hell, and pulls some really unexpected moves that do not require martial arts or levels. The way he threw the sword and landed a solid, iron gauntlet jumping punch in Ainz' face? Any human would have been out cold. Might even have caught Gazeff or Brain off guard with that. I think the show is using him to illustrate what Ainz tried to achieve with Cocytus - improving his capabilities beyond what "level cap" allows. Hence the name "Climb" and the shonen reference.
I could just be speculating due to being ignorant about the light/web novel side; there is still many stories that can be told in this expansive universe while season 5 is in production. Prequel series set in the new world could be done to explain more of the lore and characters that the light novel conveyed. The anime only briefly mentioned the 13 heroes, gave a brief introduction to the life of gazef and brain, and can delve into the creation of the blue roses. Madhouse could easily create these as side stories to continue the overlord hype( assuming the writing is good) and provide more resources for the season 5 production.
those are some good ideas, sadly they aren't in the light novel. one spin-off that was in the LN is a what-if about what would happen if Ainz went to the new world without nazarick
@@meguminchan3298 disappointing but still on the table for the author to spin. In regards to the light novel, to me it seems like a simmilar twist can be put considering if Ainz’s self preservation and emotional suppression is still in effect. Though it would probably be more of a darker version or something simmilar to Rimuru/tensura.
If I recall correctly one of the requirements for the Princess to use the item to turn into a demon was a sacrifice of people who viewed you in a motherly standing/loved you. So Renner Killed all the kids at the orphanage to use the box (seed of a fallen). Overall this season was pretty good in the adaptation and personally liked this episode over the chapter this was adapted from
Climb had MANY of the characteristics of a hero, including: Courage, Honesty, Humility, Conviction, Determination, and Loyalty to his kingdom and it's people. And in practically ANY other Issekai, a character like Climb what be the main character of the story. And in ANY other story the fight with Ainz would have ended in Ainz defeat, since the way MANY of these stories tend to go, the character who plays the role of the villain USUALLY loses. Even if there is a difference in power, with the typical cliches of " the power of friendship", and "love conquers all" are used. However Overlord ISN'T like most stories where these things happen. And I think Ainz pointing that out to Climb during their fight was fantastic, since not only was it in character for him based on everything else he's done. But it also was a great way of the author of the series to poke fun at other authors for adding these overused cliches. And in the end, Climb lost everything, with his friends being brutally murdered, and his homeland reduced to rubble. His ONLY solace now is that he has Renner, which is more sad when you think about his love for her is based on a lie. His dark fate fits perfectly with Overlord though lol. As much as I enjoyed this episode, I do have many problems with it. Like how this episode keeps up with the anime's tradition of cutting out content from the novels that are important, since it affects how the reader sees these characters. For instance, how Albedo indirectly threatens Renner that if she doesn't meet her expectations from now on the consequences would be dire not just for her, but for Climb as well. Reinforcing that their is a difference of status between the two, and that Albedo does NOT see her as an equal, just a useful pawn that she gets along with due to her intelligence, and evil nature. My next issue of cut content is some of the destruction of the kingdom that was caused by Mare, and I would have loved to see some of that slaughter that was in the book animated. Finally, I wish the scene between Albedo and Phillip was longer like it was in the book, since they were many more words exchanged between the two and it was quite funny, since Albedo LITERALLY drags him out of his safe place by his ear toward a different location to be tortured, with leaves the man so overwhelmed with fear he passes out, which suprises Albedo. The fact Phlllip got this reaction out of one of the most smartest and capable surbordinates in Nazarick was just soo funny to me, and I would have loved to have seen that animated. we also find out the fate of some of the supporters of Phillip, but alas all of this was cut out. Overall, I'd rate this season a 7/10, since the anime cuts out too much content from the books for my liking, which is a problem for me, since it can change the audiences perception of the characters, and the anime still animates like crap most of the time. But I'll give it praise for showing more of the evil actions Ainz and crew commit more consistently throughout the season, unlike the previous seasons where a lot of evil things Nazarick does was cut out for the anime. Finally, I like the liberty they took with Renner, since the song and dance she performed was actually an anime original scene and that was a pretty excellent addition as well.
And the End Begins means that Season 5 of Overlord will be the Final Season. Which makes sense since there are only 4 volumes left of the light novel that have yet to be adapted after the movie releases. So the Final Season will either be followed by a 2nd movie or will be 18 - 20 episodes long instead of 13.
for some context, the seed of the fallen can turn someone from human to demon, but only if they commit heinous acts. for renner's case, she poisoned all the orphans we saw last episode. so for climbs "test," he will have to commit some type of heinous act in order for the seed of the fallen to work
Season 4 covered Light Novels 10, 11, and 14, with the upcoming movie covering Light Novels 12 and 13. The author has announced that Light Novel 18 will be the last, which means unfortunately, Season 5 will be the last :(
@@pia_delpo It was originally going to end at 17 but 15 was so long it had to be split into multiple parts. As someone who has followed Overlord for well over half a decade at this point, seeing the beginning of the end start just hurts :(
Yea, no it hasn't happened. _stop reading here if you want to avoid anything that could be ascertained as spoilers.*_ They're still in the elf kingdom/slain theocracy on "vacation" up to current translations. I wonder if she'll ever let him out of her grasp, he might just be her forever ahem -X- slave. She doesn't want Climb getting stronger either. One, it's her dream that he's weak, and 2nd, doesn't want him or herself to be seen as a future threat in anyway. She believes, not that she would say it, that she can be thrown to the side at any moment and she isn't actually needed, just a useful tool to be used by Albedo/Nazarik. However she feels there's no greater or safer place than within the beast and is very confident in her ability. She had some comment of how her former dreams didn't live up to current situation which could only be a wish made true in heaven or hell and truly believes Ainz is an unfathomable being. Ainz fears and his non-existent stomach aches of the thought of being around her funny enough but nothing he can do "I believe" would be able to sway her thought and she can only ponder similar to Demiurge what Ainz is scheming. Just wanted to make sure that's my understanding for many reasonings. It hasn't gone over anything that would claim she fears climb would be a risk to let roam freely wherever he may but I'd assume she's either very confident in her grooming and conditioning of him and the agreement that it isn't a worry or she traps him only within her quarters and if it's the latter, I don't think we're getting that encounter. Though one possibility is he does have to use the seed and to do so requires an alignment shift. Somewhere along there could be the chance encounter. . Sorry I went off with Renner but she's a huge contributor to what happens with Climb since she's his everything and purpose, currently.
Idk if it’s just cause we were rooting for the villains but this show turned out to be some of my favorite reactions from y’all lol. Glory to Nazarick!
i kinda expected it, but still sad how the foolish noble at the end turned out. in the ln it went into detail about how albedo went off on him before taking him outside to where all his family, servants, and villagers were impaled on a spikes (Vlad the Impaler style) before sending him off to test her "information gathering" aka torture
The ring that climb is wearing was made by platinum dragon lord. It can give you extra 5 level. It is powered by wild magic. Gazif received it as a gift then he passed it on to climb
The Author thinks Princess Renner is Best Girl, since the singing disney princess scene wasn't from the light novel, it's probably a direct special request from the author.
The pain Renner was referring to was most likely the process of transforming into a imp. Or maybe the fact that Climb will have to lower his overall karma to be eligible to use the item that’ll change him into an imp. Either way Renner wasn’t tortured into submission, she’s been working for Nazarick since season 1.
The most demented disney princess I've ever scene, the anime really did up Renner's evilness when she did that song. Reading the novel was satisfying but this THIS IS pure satisfaction
Funniest part is how everyone thinks the part with Philip was so dark. But in the Light Novel, she dragged Philip outside to show a forest of pikes on his domain. Everyone was impaled on them. His family members, his servants, and everyone else living in this domain. Be it elderly, children, noble, serf or urchin. Just everyone that lived in his family's noble domain, easily numbering close to over a few hundred.
Super evil the way renner said “oh his majesty might test your loyalty through trial” which most likely is killing children or something to earn negative karma so climb could use the item While renner casually poisoned the children and the caretakers at the orphanage she run killing them to earn that karma
This is not a spoiler but something Ainz said that was never shown ever since season 1. Ainz gave each of the floor Guardians there own world item to block any other abilities of other world items. The brainwash made him very cautious and some of the guardians world items were shown in the anime such as Aura's and Mare's world items.
Which makes it all the stranger that he sent PA out with Albedo without one. Out of everyone in Nazarick, Pandora's Actor would probably be one of the most devastating to lose.
@@-Miasimon the reason is he's good at observation and command, he's also well knowledge when It come to items and hes a doppelganger, the most reason next to being doppelganger is that he has less workload in the nazarick in which he's job is to maintain the items..
@@-Miasimon he can't send others cuz everyone knows ainz is the one controlling nazarick... He can't send shaltear cuz she's the 2nd strongest character
@@babytacprimo You missed the entire point of my comment. Why send him *WITHOUT* a world item? I know why he sent him. I don't know why he sent him *WITHOUT* a world item. Even just letting him borrow someone else's would have protected him from other world items that he knew were out there.
So some background that gets missed by the anime is that Ainz is actually a really good leader. He's willing to body entire kingdoms sure, but he also rules a very accepting society not caring what race of creature your from. When he took over E-Rantel he made it a haven for commerce, education, infrastructure, and order. He does some bad shit but as an immortal being after he's done conquering the world it would likely result in fewer deaths over time than the feudal society they were living in.
Since the Renner & Climb story is over and they don't appear after this, it's not spoilers to tell you that Climb is not going to be tortured, he's going to have to do some evil shit to unlock the box to become a demon, which will be mentally painful for him. Renner was not tortured either, all she had to do was poison an orphanage to open the box. She was scared of Albedo because she thinks she lost all the goodwill she had with Albedo after Ainz acted the jester on her stage
now you see why i always said renner planned 90% of all the major battles in the series, phil got impailed by albedos special thorn spike from the butt to his mouth and stayed alive while the spike made him suffer for a long time we didnt see his family and servants get spiked sadly
Just to point out. If Nazarick never got isekai'd, Renner would be used as a marriage tool to someone on the noble's faction. Climb would be a forever virgin. Gazef would retire due to old age. Brain would still be a bandit leader. Nfiria would be a puppet for magical items by Clementine. Enri dies after the Empire raid. E-Rantel would be a land of the dead since they would be destroyed by that Necromancer in season1 episode 9. There are goods and bad but definitely a better ending to some characters.
Gazef and Enri wouldn't even last that long. They'd both be dead from the ambush in Cairne village in episode 3 and 4. But yeah things would not have gone swimmingly for everything even if Ainz wasn't around.
@@lufasumafalu5069 it could possible that the Kingdom will be subjugated by Baharuth empire, as originally supported by the Theocracy, which plans to have Gazef killed early in the season for that reason. Then the empire might be able to stop the necromancy insurrection with the help from Theocracy themselves. How much things could be different should Ainz Owl Gown not exist in the world.
If Nazarick had never been isekai'd to this world, I see two possible outcomes for the kingdom 1. The most likely outcome Ramposa continues to be unable to deal with the kingdom's corruption and it becomes worse when Barbro rises to the throne. The Eight Fingers and corrupt nobles start gaining more and more power The theocracy loses all hope in the kingdom and allows the empire to full take over it After years of the kingdom weakening and starving from having to conscript during the harvest season for the yearly wars with the empire, the empire has no problem conquering the kingdom Jircniv had the royal family executed to avoid revolts in their name, but Renner manages to escape with the help of Climb Jircniv has to dedicate massive amount of effort to try and stomp out the corruption of the kingdom and starts wondering if it was even worth it 2. The hopeful outcome Zanac manages to secure Renner's help against the Eight Fingers and with the help of Blue Rose, achieves putting a halt to their operations With the evidence of Barbro's dealing with them in hand, they get him deposed and now Zanac is the heir to the throne Zanac further secures Renner's assistance by figuring out her true goals and promising her a nice isolated fiefdom where she can do whatever she wants with Climb Zanac rises to the throne and with the help of Marquis Raeven, manages to put a stop to the corrupt nobles, ending the schism between the nobles and royal factions Zanac starts diplomatic exchanges with the empire to put a stop to the yearly wars The kingdom continues to progress and enters a golden age with king Zanac
In the light novel Phillip and Albedo's scene is waaaay more disturbing because after she gives him that gift she takes him by the ear drags him outside and shows that she had every single one of his friends, family, neighbors, everyone in his domain and impaled their bodies and heads on pikes showing true horror before dragging him to Nazarick and having him tortured to death.
I personally think Climb’s test of loyalty that will be painful is he’ll be required to open the box for his race change. Albedo asked Renner if she’d be able to open her box, and later we see her thanking Albedo for the poison for the food (for the orphans). IDK how many people you have to kill to open the box but it’s probably a lot because she made sure even the orphanage workers would eat it, implying all those people needed to die for it to work. That’s going to be tough for Climb, but Renner will probably frame it as a test of loyalty to the Sorcerer King and now she’s set it up perfectly for him to actually go through with it.
On 15:00 , You guys wondered why Climb used "Watashi" instead of "Boku" or "Ore". It's a common misconception but "Watashi" is a gender neutral greeting that is used when meeting a stranger, "Boku" is used when you are somewhat close to the one you are talking to (often used by men and young boys), and "Ore" is used by men to assert dominance! I mean, to show masculinity often used when an older dude is talking to someone younger than them, When a Senpai/Superior is talking to their Kohai/Junior, or when talking to someone you are really really really close to often family and bestfriends. On the women's case they can always use "watashi" whenever, wherever, and whomever you are speaking to. They also have "Atashi" which is the counter-part of the men's "Boku". On Climb's case this time he used "Watashi" not as a greeting but as a proclamation on what he is and because he is not close to Ainz, Albedo, Cocytus and Demiurge. If he used "Boku" infront of Ainz and others, He would sound cocky and as a Person who witnessed the instant death of who he respected and considered the strongest being cocky infront of Ainz would be treated as a humiliation against Gazef. and then "Watashi wa Renner-sama no tate!" in english translation "I am Princess Renner's personal/private Shield!". "Watashi wa" was translated into "I am ___ personal/private ___" and simplified into "I am Princess Renner's shield!". Japanese is definitely confusing, I'm still pretty bad at it so I don't know if the explanation that I have given is accurate.
Rewatching your reaction and the actual video, did you guys notice that the ice witches at the throne room entrance said to climb that he may enter as the last remaining human of the capital and yet they knew the princess was inside but she was a demon and didnt count. mind blown
Yoooooo, Renner dancing and singing like a disney princess. That shit was f*ed up xDD. I never had problems siding with the evil of Nazarick but now that we are basically cheering for Renner my faith was tested again :O xD
Notification gang my favorite reactors another good season of overlord can't wait to see you guys reaction to the movie when it comes out. Also is there a possibility for you guys review on overlord light novel as a light novel reader it's going to be a long time for another season?
not a spoiler more of lost in the anime, Renner is very scared of Ainz, she planned to only do the bare minimum, she thought Albedo or Demiurge would fight Climb but because Ainz did it himself and played "the Jester", all the good will she raise in Albedo dropped to rock bottom for making her beloved Ainz play the fool so she's afraid that any small mistake will be used by Albedo as an excuse to kill her so she thought Ainz saw through her plans as the "smartest being she ever met" and now has to give 100%

Just so you know in the light novel.. climb is about a Gold plate
@@josephfarhat9505 i think on season 2 they already summarize it
Turns out Overlord was actually a Disney Princess story, and the main character was actually Renner!
She gets to live happily ever after!
Renner the Disney demon princess.. poor little mermaid being washed out by tactician yandere
No no, he's got a point
“Happily”
She really is. She loved her dad so much and knew he missed his sons and Gazef so she sent him to see them. Having a dog was a big responsibility but she fed and played with him everyday.
The orphans were never hungry again.
All the slavery, prostitution and narcotics were eradicated.
There was no more infighting between the nobles.
The kingdom prospered under the rule of the Sorcerer king.
Happy end🎉
I'd lol out loud if a bunch of fans voted for her on a Disney Princess ranking, and she managed to appear there as one of the top options
He is though he just does what he's told and does it in a very "nice" way
If I remember correcty the LN (not 100% sure), Hilma was thinking his shyness was an act : his ostensible shyness was not in accord with his cold eyes ?
compared to demiurge? he and cocytus are angels
They are the "cool guys" among the monsters in Nazarick now, that's why everyone envies them.
and they are very powerful
Rather than powerful, they are moreso useful. In particular for reconaissance missions. But yes, they are also powerful.
because hanzo is a level 80 summon monster. Ainz is too stingy to get the nazarick npc killed outside of nazarick
7:50 “The sister is worse. She dragged the girl by the hair, but this one is very shy.”
No, that was Mare. His naivety and shyness combined with his ruthlessness and OP power makes for an entertaining character.
Bukubukuchagma loooooved Gap Moe, like most of the Guild.
I can see why people forgot the genders only because those soldiers said "boy" to Aura. Mare was great this ep. That cheering part was freaking adorable.
people forgetting that Mare is a boy
Mare not only drug her by the hair but he also smash her leg to make sure she couldn't run away. He doesn't care about killing humans if that's what Ainz wants.
@@YuSooKey He sees humans as things not even living beings, Aura at least has some kind of 'conscience', lmao.
Note that the NPCs outside the throne room refer to Climb as "the last human in this castle" hinting at Reiner's transformation
and another fun fact, they have ways to resurrect people without the loss of motor functions and stuff, Reiner didn't want that because she wants to take care of Climb while he is weak as you guys mentioned
@@ndt7379 gotta love a happy ending.
He's going to recover but Renner wanted him bedridden for a little bit so she could take care of him
@@radioraheem9820 It's in the LN. It specifically states that the method that they used to bring Climb back paralyzed him.
@@nullakjg767 fr lol, she bad asf too.
Almost like Ainz did that specifically with the hopes that some would live. Even if not conciously thinking of such xdd
I feel bad for Renner💀 She's been through a lot. Her brothers died. She was forced to kill her father. She was forced to betray her kingdom. Her Climb died but thankfully was revived.
Best Disney musical ever
😂
Singing Renner was an unexpected but beautif surprise. A satisfying finale. Now we have to wait for the 5th and the final season.
(These 4 people are the current smartest people in this world.)
On another note, the ring raises someone’s physical limits by 5 levels which would be really good on anyone but for someone to be a threat with that ring, they would need to be a higher level threat than Climb with his level 16.
She called Climb "the last living human in the castle"
She almost gave away the whole ruse, by revealing that Renner wasn't human anymore.
the creepiest part about all this: that princess had a sinister look about her on many occasions but the moment you realize she was playing Everyone, including her now forever lover, so she could live on as something more than a human... it's scary. like how Mare saw him and told him to leave cause they couldn't kill Climb. it's unsettling to look back now and lord knows what else was hinted but hard to pick up on at the time.
I took Renner's nervousness infront Albedo was that she finally passed her test which was successfully razing her kingdom to ashes, she really wants to be accepted because Nazaerick can give her everything she's ever wanted but they can also deny her those things on a whim if she's unworthy.
Everything = -Climb- puppy
She was nervous because albedo is a higher level yandere with enough power to destroy the kingdom alone. And albedo was displeased cuz ainz himself had to act for renner's sake .
Reiner kinda admires Demiurge and Albedo not only because they gave her everything she wanted but because they acknowledged her intelligence and authority which her family never did, if you look back they always underestimated her and her brother was one of the few who kinda knew how smart she was, she was kept away from politics by all of her family, literally sometimes, locked in her room, this in turn made her start resenting all of it, all of the kingdom and all of her family untill she didn't care about any of it anymore, then she met Climb, starving and about to die in the streets, and he basically worshiped her instantly, she then fell in love with him like a pet and conditioned him through emotional manipulation to be basically unable to disobey her no mater what
I finished Overlord Season 4 today! Was nice watching your reactions after each episode, Great videos/reactions as always.
The ninjas giving Mare moral support was actually really adorable
In the end of vol 14 of the LN, Renner's character sheet is changed, obviously her race and level distribution was changed to the demon stuff, but among other things her hobby now is having sex with Climb. As they both are gonna be immortal, they will be doing it for the rest of eternity.
Last episode, reiner was practiced her execution swing.
Practicing*
7:53 But Mare was literally the one that dragged that Eight Fingers girl by the hair in season 2. It wasn't Aura XD
But then again, I'm sure some meant well, by sharing some lore about the anime, and just didn't phrase it properly.
renner the GOAT,when she started singing i literally got goosebumps💀💀
The one who got the worst on this season is the maid that's gonna be assigned to housekeeping Renner's room for eternity.
I think the item Aura was looking for was the little goat armed statue that demiurge left behind in the previous season that he used as justification for the fake war
"If this was a story, your rage would call forth the hidden power within you (Hero) in order to cut me (Evil) down, but this is reality, such a thing won't happen"
-Ainz Ooal Gown (Overlord)
Just such an amazing season finale I loved that scene of ainz sitting on the rubble like a throne with the crown sitting on top
I find it funny that in this episode. Rener is singing like Disney's princess after the happy ending.
They really made Mare look adorable while he’s the most psychotic out of all the floor gardiens I’m dead
Climb: with nakama power, i will-
Ainz: we don't do that here
If I recall correctly one of the requirements for the Princess to use the item to turn into a demon was a sacrifice of people who viewed you in a motherly standing/loved you.

Funny thing is Renner mentioned all this happening to Climb way back when she was talking to Raeven and the prince.

You are incorrect. She will only ever be doing things to climb for the rest of time.
Glad i'm not the only one. Climb managed to get an L and W simultaneously.
Yoooo Ainz flat out told Climb “No plot armor for you!” 😂
Renner is now a Disney Princess...of evil.
Renner is the golden character of Maruyama, the author of Overlord 🥶😈
Renner really has become one of my fave overlord characters. Maybe even anime in general.
10:27 Bukubuku Chagama: “ha, you’ve fallen for one of my classic blunders”
Super evil the way renner said “oh his majesty might test your loyalty through trial” which most likely is killing children or something to earn negative karma so climb could use the item
While renner casually poisoned the children and the caretakers at the orphanage she run killing them to earn that karma
This is not a spoiler but something Ainz said that was never shown ever since season 1. Ainz gave each of the floor Guardians there own world item to block any other abilities of other world items. The brainwash made him very cautious and some of the guardians world items were shown in the anime such as Aura's and Mare's world items.
Albedo is always carrying her's
@@babytacprimo
You missed the entire point of my comment.
Why send him *WITHOUT* a world item? I know why he sent him. I don't know why he sent him *WITHOUT* a world item. Even just letting him borrow someone else's would have protected him from other world items that he knew were out there.
Renner is a next level Yandere she destroyed the kingdom for her to be together forever with climb.
I think Climb has his full body cuz otherwise how would Renner get her first time with him
So some background that gets missed by the anime is that Ainz is actually a really good leader.
30:25 the way he said that 😂😄
Renner confirmed Disney Princess with that little musical number ^^'
Since the Renner & Climb story is over and they don't appear after this, it's not spoilers to tell you that Climb is not going to be tortured, he's going to have to do some evil shit to unlock the box to become a demon, which will be mentally painful for him. Renner was not tortured either, all she had to do was poison an orphanage to open the box. She was scared of Albedo because she thinks she lost all the goodwill she had with Albedo after Ainz acted the jester on her stage
Lolz. The crew totally spacing out of the genders of the dark elf twins...takes me back.
now you see why i always said renner planned 90% of all the major battles in the series, phil got impailed by albedos special thorn spike from the butt to his mouth and stayed alive while the spike made him suffer for a long time we didnt see his family and servants get spiked sadly
oh fuck that oof also I'm hearing about volume 13 and 14 is getting adapted as an movie will it be an recap or actually new material?
@@big3fanboy19 Its 12 and 13 that will be the movie, 14 was the final arc of Season 4
@@SatanicWren okay but still will it be an recap movie or actually new material?
@@big3fanboy19 New, The content was not adapted into the anime
@@brunobru7083 okay thank you
It's sad that there are people who want to spoil the fun , the part I love the most about yall reaction is the theory and discuss
Just to point out.
If Nazarick never got isekai'd,
Renner would be used as a marriage tool to someone on the noble's faction.
But yeah things would not have gone swimmingly for everything even if Ainz wasn't around.
but erantel will be ruled by undead too , so its the same
@@lufasumafalu5069 it could possible that the Kingdom will be subjugated by Baharuth empire, as originally supported by the Theocracy, which plans to have Gazef killed early in the season for that reason. Then the empire might be able to stop the necromancy insurrection with the help from Theocracy themselves. How much things could be different should Ainz Owl Gown not exist in the world.
If Nazarick had never been isekai'd to this world, I see two possible outcomes for the kingdom
1. The most likely outcome
Ramposa continues to be unable to deal with the kingdom's corruption and it becomes worse when Barbro rises to the throne.
The Eight Fingers and corrupt nobles start gaining more and more power
The theocracy loses all hope in the kingdom and allows the empire to full take over it
After years of the kingdom weakening and starving from having to conscript during the harvest season for the yearly wars with the empire, the empire has no problem conquering the kingdom
Jircniv had the royal family executed to avoid revolts in their name, but Renner manages to escape with the help of Climb
Jircniv has to dedicate massive amount of effort to try and stomp out the corruption of the kingdom and starts wondering if it was even worth it
2. The hopeful outcome
Zanac manages to secure Renner's help against the Eight Fingers and with the help of Blue Rose, achieves putting a halt to their operations
With the evidence of Barbro's dealing with them in hand, they get him deposed and now Zanac is the heir to the throne
Zanac further secures Renner's assistance by figuring out her true goals and promising her a nice isolated fiefdom where she can do whatever she wants with Climb
Zanac rises to the throne and with the help of Marquis Raeven, manages to put a stop to the corrupt nobles, ending the schism between the nobles and royal factions
Zanac starts diplomatic exchanges with the empire to put a stop to the yearly wars
The kingdom continues to progress and enters a golden age with king Zanac

Just for information, "The end begins", is a little teaser for us, the season 5 is the finale season of Overlord anime.
The seed of fallen is a magic ítem to change The race but it need a huge sacrifice for that, Renner sacrifices all The orphanage to become a demon
Climb is the most naïve char lol. Super love blinded. I cannot wait until he sees Sebas though.
Oh DAMN how
How did I never think of that
R.I.P climbs back if you know what I mean 😏
Would Climb even *_have_* a back at that point?
Death by snu snu
Well i dont think Renner would just be lying in bed though.
As of now Climb cant stand up, so shes gonna ride that.
Goodluck Climb's stamina
More like his pelvis is going to get obliterated.
Rewatching your reaction and the actual video, did you guys notice that the ice witches at the throne room entrance said to climb that he may enter as the last remaining human of the capital and yet they knew the princess was inside but she was a demon and didnt count. mind blown
Cut detail: Philip really got to work out the anger out of albedo... He and his entire village got impaled
Ainz really just told Climb "Sorry, you're in the wrong anime."
Climb: You Manipulated the princess...
Ainz: My Nigga you don't wanna know the truth
Yoooooo, Renner dancing and singing like a disney princess. That shit was f*ed up xDD. I never had problems siding with the evil of Nazarick but now that we are basically cheering for Renner my faith was tested again :O xD
Renner thanked albedo for giving her poison, and she just gave food to orphans that loved her, I wonder why she did that😆.
Now the wait for the Overlord movie to explain the Holy War Arc
Notification gang my favorite reactors another good season of overlord can't wait to see you guys reaction to the movie when it comes out. Also is there a possibility for you guys review on overlord light novel as a light novel reader it's going to be a long time for another season?
Thank you fam
not a spoiler more of lost in the anime, Renner is very scared of Ainz, she planned to only do the bare minimum, she thought Albedo or Demiurge would fight Climb but because Ainz did it himself and played "the Jester", all the good will she raise in Albedo dropped to rock bottom for making her beloved Ainz play the fool so she's afraid that any small mistake will be used by Albedo as an excuse to kill her so she thought Ainz saw through her plans as the "smartest being she ever met" and now has to give 100%
the last episode was such a banger its insane i want to see more overlord
Rock "Dad" Lee. Opens bottle for the young ones 😂 very nice
Also nah Phillip was a fool from the start haha he got what was coming💀💀😂
Now we wait for Renner's spinoff movie from Disney the R rated dark musical "Overlord : The Dominatrix"
