@righteousbuilds3576 that B2 driver is a beast! In my story videos you'll see I have a 6 12's with one passive radiator for each pair. I had to take it out of my truck to fit a baby seat lol so I bought a cheap Rockville punisher 10. I'm going to make a box with the 10 on top inverted with four passive radiators around it.

Where do you get those massive passive radiators from? Those look GREAT inverted!
@@fredy000 Interesting. Just pulled up vehicle measurements, ... I suspect the vehicle's cabin fundamental resonant mode may be responsible (~60hz), from that freq downward it would exhibit vessel gain, ... lossy, but still huge at a minimum of 6dB/octave.

Nice kits for people who don't know much about woodworking or measurements, but want to build their own subs and sound good too. I couldn't build a second one because I don't like being limited to one shape or limited woofer selection, etc... Fs is known as the resonant frequency (the frequency that the driver/passive radiator is the most comfortable vibrating at). Adding weight lowers that resonant frequency.
Inverted helps so the tuning disk arent hitting the subwoofer magent causing damage to the passive radiator thats why your radiators were damaged was to much excursion now having the Inverted will sound better.
These get expensive because of the equipment used. The cost for one of these would be $3900. Of course the one in the video was an experimental build with some 1 inch baltic birch scraps, so if I built one to sell, it would be properly sized to make sure that everything works the way it should :).
🤔 Not bad considering the return on quality of bass… What would you recommend for a theatre style setup, something in a 20’ x 20’ size room with about 10 seats? I’ve been toying with bass under the seat platform to give a physical “punch” to the viewer, but thinking a more typical “bass wave” from the front might be better. Hit you in the chest instead of the ass 😂
I love the look of the inverted drivers. Not sure if the hz was too low to hear during testing or the sound wasn't played during the vid. The travel of those passive radiators is insane. Thanks for the content.
Yeah, I had the sound off on those clips to avoid copyright trouble. I just wanted to show them in action.

I'm using a speaker power sp1-2400ht. It's rated at 2400 watts at 4 ohms, but its also 2 ohm stable, so it'll push more than that when it wants to. It's pushing a 2 ohm load on that driver right now. I'm not sure if you've ever worked with 1 inch baltic birch before, but it's very rigid. I'm not super concerned about flex with the amount of strength that the wood offers.
