I maybe one sided being a ford fan, but wow how good was skaife, I used to get annoyed because he’d win everything, I was obviously missing the point, skaife was the man
Sometimes the modern v8 Supercars needs to make for more overtaking, and if someone gives someone else a push off the track or into another car, don’t penalise them, that’s just how it is in racing. Great stuff.
I miss the earlier days of mixed classes and variation. Almost a shame the Group A was getting too fast to have Group C in the same race. However, I suspect after seeing the Nissan GTRs running, that eventually we would have had all 4WD cars instead of V8s.
To be honest I'm glad that the ATCC/V8 Supercars formed their own touring car formula in 1993 which brought back the epic rivalry between the Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon which brought in record crowds at circuits across Australia in 1993

Wow, what a great race.
Mighty holden v8 with Larry at the helm.
Don't the 1993 v8s sound so much better than the 2019 v8s
I do enjoy the sound of the 1990s V8s especially the Holden V8 in Larry Perkins's car compared to todays V8s
They certainly do

Larry forgot to turn the fuel pumps on. Hence, he lost the gap.

@@AdamTheMan1993 in the 90s I was still enjoying it
“Newsflash ford wins” huh well I’ve come from the future to tell you otherwise
V8 supercars killed off falcon and commodore
More like the yanks killed off the Falcon and Commodore by closing the Holden and Ford factories in Australia
@@AdamTheMan1993 The Yanks probably got the hump because the Aussies were producing better racing.
Shame how they made it into a bogan class shame shame Australia got rid high tech monsters go the meat pie boys
