1970 my first ever racing event British GP Brands Hatch supporting race was british saloon cars first car out Frank Gardner in a 302 boss mustang from that day on that's been my favourite car. Thanks for putting these V8 vids up cos we've got nothing like this in the uk.Long live the V8s
Good to see the Valiant as well. Awesome drive Mr Tilly !. The black Mustang looked fabulous and so the Challenger, Love this old school white knuckled racing
The Pinepac racing XE falcon down the list hits similar numbers down Conrod. They post in car footage, worth a look just to hear what 860hp of Roush Nascar V8 engine sounds like!
@@dustinwarner6594 I used to go up and watch back in the days when these cars were going around .. But Im not interested in the V8 supercars circus so dont go up the mount these days + the telecast is so good now you see a lot more on TV .. but I certainly do miss the good old 70s and 80s racing & atmosphere
This is Bad Ass.... Awesome cars. We dont have this is Ontario Canada. Thanks for the upload. Aussies and there bad ass cars they take it all to a next level
So cool to see a Dodge remember those E55 Chargers and what could of been ,those mean T/A 340 6 Packs this was the motor for the E55 150 of those motors sent to Aussie for the Charger ,Dodge naughtily underated the 340 Six Pack it was a weapon .Actual power for them was around 380hp
Be good if they listed the cars not just drivers and numbers. The cars are the stars, I'd like to know what position the Pacer was in coz you can't read the numbers easily.
1971 Ford Capri Perana Only about 500 were built with a Windsor 302 motor, Top Loader gearbox and a BorgWarner diff from the Mustangs of the early 70s. Ford South Africa endorsed Basil Green Ford to build a small number of Peranas to sell to the public, which then allowed them to race and dominate the South African racing scene.
@@doogiehounslow1160 I'm pretty familiar with the Peranas as I was building a replica before leaving Australia in 2017. Not sure if the one racing is a genuine Perana as it would be too rare to race as the TCM don't mind a bit of a bash.
A bunch of kiwis from the NZ Central Muscle Cars class take their cars over the ditch for the Bathurst weekend. The specs between NZ and AU are close enough they can race together.
The only reason the mustang was so much faster was because the kiwi rules allowed him to have 150 extra horsepower. The fact that the camaro passed him at all is a testament to his driving.
anyone know why some of the cars like the black mustang can have better motors, then some of the other cars? like Johnson's mustang? If he had the motor out of that Black stang he would be untouchable.
That Black.Mustang is built to NZ Central Muscle Cars rules, which are more open than Australian TCM rules, bigger engines, brakes, wheels etc, that Challenger is also from NZ and has a P6 NASCAR engine
Foggs mustang has a 358 Roush/Yates 830HP. Engine... Commentary was bs. It's pretty open rules, Aus cars would've done the same, For goodness sake if it was restricted 650H.P. Fogg wouldn't be allowed in. .
Love watching these old school machines screaming around!
Better than the Supercars,
All motorsports in Aussie is better also V8 Supercars is great
Much…

Please bring back the 70’s. This is so much better than current “Supercars”
Good to see the Valiant as well. Awesome drive Mr Tilly !. The black Mustang looked fabulous and so the Challenger, Love this old school white knuckled racing
This is much more fun then Formula One...👍👍
Jesus that black mustang... 🔥🔥🔥

@@paythepiper6283 5:55 No good if he cant keep it on the road.
@@TassyDeval And you would have done different in that circumstance how?
@@paythepiper6283 wtf
@@TassyDeval Exactly champ.
Angus Fogg's Mustang looks great in its resplendent black and gold "world's fastest hire car" livery.
'69 And '70 Mustangs, to my old eyes, were some of the best styled cars of the 60's and early 70's.
When these bad boys hit the track I can hear them from my joint 5 klms away ...
I'm jealous sir! I grew up on dirt tracks about 2 miles from house! Hope you get to go enjoy them

Tremendous effort by all to get these classic racers on the track
That Fogg’s Black Mustang is a weapon..thanks heaps for the upload mate.awesome race
This is Bad Ass.... Awesome cars. We dont have this is Ontario Canada. Thanks for the upload.

Don't forget all the New Zealand cars in the field.
Thanks mate !!!!
This is so much better than the current Supercar Championship thank you for uploading this video it was awesome.😁👍
It’s one thing to see cars like that at car shows, but to see them really being driven and enjoyed serves as a reminder of what they were built for.
They wasnt 1 person passed another it is just a rolling car show
WOW! Great race. Thanks for posting this awesome series!
better racing than nascar
How often NASCAR use regular circuits?
That black/gold mustang is a proper quick car
Foggy cruising then opened it up on the last lap
Like he just walked away and it didn't look like he was even trying that hard.
Good variety of cars with strengths and weaknesses.
13:56, holy sh#t, what a weapon
The onboard (on Facebook not on youtube) of Fogg's Mustang demolishing Conrod Straight is amazing
Fogg was sand bagging, not running away from the pack, with that additional 150 hp from that Rouse Yates nascar motor.
3:06 TCM is so badass that even magpies think twice about having a go! Haha

Damn those cars look gorgeous and are hauling ASS! 12:10 Epic... stunning Mustang breathing fire!
7:18 guy got his hat blown off :D
Awesome!
Damn, that's real Racing!!! Live IT a much❤❤❤
This is what motor racing is all about.
lovely class of cars!
It always stresses me watching these races, coz I don't want anything bad to happen to any of these awesome classic cars.
If those things could talk they wouldn't want it any other way lmao

Thank you very much. Any uploads from improved production 2020?
Nah mate don't think they had any tv races yet
Holy shit ! A real stock car race ?
Cool pacer ,dodge challenger ,charger ✌✌
Thanks for posting.....Living in the UK and missing the TCM.
Is that a Capri I see?
The commentator called it 'Perana', so yes - V8 powered (South Africa produced cars).

Sorry for that silly question here from Europe : What is Foggy doing in the TCM in Australia ?
A bunch of kiwis from the NZ Central Muscle Cars class take their cars over the ditch for the Bathurst weekend. The specs between NZ and AU are close enough they can race together.
In My Opinion, for the Game Version... It Look's Like a Real Racing 3, TOCA Race Driver 2, etc
Very Awesome😅😁👍👍👍
Can’t hear 👂 volume ?
What are the conditions to enter TCM and how close are AU and NZ specs?
I am a Art for the UK
I will to draw your car and send it to you
My draw is out of this world 🌎🌎
From Ollie 😃
Sooooo much better than Supercars.
That mustang is spanking their ass 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love bow's Torana!
trying to capture that fire breathin stang would be a great pic
The only reason the mustang was so much faster was because the kiwi rules allowed him to have 150 extra horsepower. The fact that the camaro passed him at all is a testament to his driving.
Doesn't seem very fair if you ask me, I'm not a pro racing driver but I could be competitive too if I had 150 horsepower advantage on my rivals
BS....
I believe that all race cars should be outlawed to have stickers for headlights
Let this take over from Supercars. Lets lead the world and go back. Couldn't be worse than the current Supercars joke.
They need to do a 6hour race or 500/1000km event the turnout will be mental and more enjoyable to watch than the carbon fibre crap
24 hour endurance race
I wish i could get one these shipped to the Caribbean
Needs more Minis!
Has anyone got the race where Cameron Tilley spits the tail shaft out on conrod?
Thats got to be the fastest XD in history..
12:12....300kph 186mph....
Anything less than a 70 series (profile) tyre should start at the rear of the grid. Period correct please!
@Leonard Carr G78x14 or 8.25x14 are fine.
the other drivers have not the foggiest idea
Where's the old channel 9 camero, I thought they restored the old girl.
And the Walkinshaw V12 Jag what a screamer there is a nice you tube clip 1988 Bathurst Qualifying Lap check it out it screams on TWO Wheels
This is racing not the v8 super same cars enjoying it in my corona virux isalation

Kiwis winning
They should do, they have far more horsepower than the Australian series.

Brassington has a 358ci he never said it was a Mopar, so its a GM ..
Foggs got a Roush 358ci..
