This video takes an active project of mine using the rotary to show you another example of settings and use. If you have any questions, please comment below!
Another great video! To the point, clear and easy to understand. You are a natural at this, thank you! One recommendation and it may just be my setup, but it was hard to hear even with max volume.
Do you still need to set the focal length on a manual adjustment z axis? I'm trying to think if that would make a difference or not between different objects, or just be need to be set manually to the right height each time on the machine itself, and leave the focal setting as a constant.
Very helpful videos and probably some of the best so far. I have been trying to dial in this rotary for a long time now and I feel that I'm getting closer thanks to you. It's hard to find good videos out there. I'm trying to engrave in the same orientation and having the laser engrave right to left like you in the videos, but I can't seem to figure it out. Can you explain how you achieve this? And maybe explain the rotary mark parameters (F3) a little bit? Thanks again for the help.
Glad it helped! I'm not too up to speed on the parameters but i'll see if i can provide some guidance in a future video. As far as the orientation, you need to adjust your hatch direction. for mine, it's 0deg. Remember to hit 'apply' after you adjust :)
Morning , I’m new to all this but have purchased a laser and a rotary piece I use the same program that you use but for the life of me I can not make it work using an image !! Works perfectly when I just input text but when I copy customers logs onto the program, then got to rotary mark . Press f2 nothing happens at all!! Driving me insane , but I’m self taught watching your videos. Is there anywhere I can go for training in the uk?
Check out Alex at Laser Everything here on YT. He is putting out videos several times a week and is going in depth on the rotary setup. There is also a discord that has lots of knowledgable people to ask!
@@christianbush3094 You need to convert to vector or learn about engraving a raster image. I dont have nearly enough information to help troubleshoot your issue via UA-cam comment, sorry.
@@elephantengravingco.8833 LOL here is the dilemma we just bought a 50w Lasersatr and I don't like the software that came with it so I'm traying to sue it with ezcad 2 .14 I 'm trying to burn a picture on tumbelr .

Sorry for the trouble, Tom! I know why the volume is low and it's my fault :) I'll see if I can fix it and re-upload to this link.
@@elephantengravingco.8833 No trouble, whatever you did it's now perfect! Thank YOU!
