Another fantastic video, thank you! I'm a AutoCAD user and there are a few special steps importing DXF, but as usual I picked up some more tips with this video! Keep up the great work!
I have 2 quick questions. 1. What does the focal length do? I guess if you have an automatic focal adjustment it moves the head, but if you don't, does it actually do anything? 2. Are you using a fiber or an RF? I have an RF and always have to clean it with LA's finest and its a pain in the butt!
Once you have your settings set for a Yeti 30 oz, can you just save those settings are a profile? On some of the US built machine's custom software, it seems easier to use in that you can just select your product and go. Thoughts on this? Thx much
So, I don't 100% understand how the focal length in the rotary mark application is applied to how the engraving is done. However, the reason I'm adjusting the focal length is because i'm keeping the same focal height on my tower, but the physical item is getting larger/smaller as i swap them out. as an example: 20oz tumbler is 88mm diameter, whereas a 30oz is 100mm. since i'm keeping my galvo head/tower at the same height, my focal length going from 30oz to 20oz will increase by 6mm (12mm total difference in diameter, half on top, 6mm). This is why i'm adjusting.
@@elephantengravingco.8833 so if i understand correctly , if choose to focus with the head (up or down) i dont need to change that focal length number ?
Do you have a video on your F3 parameters? Cause once I engrave it once and go to redo it ....it rotates 3/4th of the way back and ruins my engraving.... It sometimes will not rotate and I have to line my rotary with the lighting cause I can't move it once I'm in the rotary mark
Are you preparing the width and alignment of the graphic in regular editing mode first? Once you’re in rotary mark, you can’t do ANYTHING except simple up/down/left/right adjustments.
Thank you i have just ordered a 50W JPT and this is just the help i need
Can't wait to watch more. Just starting and needing more knowledge

Glad it was helpful! DXF can be a few more steps, I see most people using AI and SVG so I took that route. :)
I heard that mocking bird in the background and it sounds like you're in Florida! We have them everywhere here in St Pete FL.
Nice video. here we still have some EZcad2 guide video, hope to share it with who need it. 😊
NICE video what is your laser ?W and lense size? Please and thank you!

Late to game on this but what size machine is this? 60w?

Another great video! Why are you using multiple focal lengths? I thought that was a factor of the lens and not the item being engraved. Thanks!

Every time i try to do an import my Ezcad2 crashes. Any tips ?
Very cool man. 👊
Thanks 👍
Thank you for the video Sir. I have been experimenting with settings and the rotary and it can be very confusing.
Glad it helped
