Revive Stronger great video!! Can you tell me about how tall you are? What was your lowest carb daily amount when getting ready for a physique show? Thanks so much!!
WOW......your Channel and Work is really good!!! very interesting Talk...and i am soo suprised that you have not mot more Follower..you should earn more attention..but as allways...quality needs time to reach a grat public...i wish you all the best and more interessting talks ....iam sure not alone here...looking forward...: ) Greetings from France/Germany...
I REALLY enjoy your channel. I’m wondering about 2 topics: 1) I want to know if there’s a legitimate, scientific link between carbs and recovery. And also if that applies to someone who is in nutritional ketosis who is fat adapted. Not just the biased “carbs are essential” crap. I want the real data. 2) I am really into the “mindset” part of working out, diet and fitness long-term. Do u have any videos on that? Thanks!!
,,,great show as usual...what most do not understand is that a ton of diets for example keto and lots of "exercises" are FOR THE SICK POPULATION...not for the hard training athlete ....body builders etc. just balance out your carbs proteins and fats and lift weights to break down the muscle rest and recover.
Would have liked to hear about the argument for keto dieting for weigh loss specifically concerning mental clarity, satiety, vs other diets if it is superior in those respects or not.
I wasnt suggesting that keto is a superior diet overall, and certainly not for muscle gain. Believe the best diet would be based on the individual and their goal. Just wanted to highlight some of the major benefits such as metal clarity and satiety when dieting on keto due to the high fats staying in the system taking longer to digest and also the endless supply of fat to be use and converted to ketos so hunger/craving tend to be less.
as someone who's been doing cyclic keto for 3 yrs now and having been a carb person for a lifetime before that i can absolutely say keto and cyclic keto are superior in all respects , people can research all they want and there's research to prove anything you want , in the end all that matters is what works best for you , no research in the world can discount that
Agree on the individualized part but I don't in terms of saying that Keto diets are superior in all regards. Perhaps it might be superior in some parts for you but speaking in ultimates is never true...this contradicts with your saying of finding what works best for you....and no research can discount that
Great podcast as usual! Yeah the whole nutrigenomics field is certainly far away from a "useful" reality at this stage. Recently had an ex-client raving about it, however looking into it...the dietary changes offered to them basically came back to cico! Who would've guessed that 😉 Keep it up!
Where are the studies showing pro+carbs is better for MPS? The studies that I have seen, showed no benefit to adding carbs to protein for increasing MPS?
I fallow Lyle McDonald, Ultimate Diet 2.0 with low carbs days and refeeds, wonder what You think about it and how diet breaks works? Tnx for another great vid!
I never said that I agree and sorry to cut it short, but to make my stance and view on it clear, this isn't the best platform for it :) Feel free to join our free facebook group and ask such a question there :) facebook.com/groups/revivestronger/

Would have liked to hear about the argument for keto dieting for weigh loss specifically concerning mental clarity, satiety, vs other diets if it is superior in those respects or not.
There are lots and lots of research out already on that it isn't superior. I think, Brad even wrote an extensive article about Keto on his website :)

@@jaz_ok the fact that its cyclic means carbs are king which they are for muscle building and fat loss...just buyer beware:))

Perhaps you want to get in touch with Brad directly if you want specific papers. That's quicker than us finding it for you.

Your welcome Anton. I think, Lyle explains everything pretty well in his books in regards to UD2.0

Revive Stronger understand. do you have link to vid.where you talk about diet breaks or your view on UD 2.0?
Check out the episodes with Lyle McDonald. I know that Mike Israetel also touched on it in one of the Q/A's but can't recall which one it was^^
