@@OfficialDreamTheater not true at all. Not sure where you’re getting your info. The only tight dual recs are the first 600 made. Rev A-F. Not saying you can’t make a dual rec tight for rhythm tones. But both Engls, Peavey 5150 and EVH 5150s are tighter than any dual rec ever made. Dual recs are best for hard rock stuff, not tight metal stuff.
@@Hadouken5150 *boosted* Recto. I saw a comparison of the Recto stock vs Engl vs Recto boosted, and at first the Engl super tight. Then the boosted Mesa Recto came in and made it sound like a middle-ground amp between super tight and loose.
Awesome amp! I really loved the rev F, multi watt, and the mini Rec. I had KT-88s & KT-66s in the multi watt, it doesn't really change the sound when recorded as much as it changes how the amp feels when you are in the room with it. If that makes sense. I love IRs and all that hoopla and whoopdy doo but...they will never capture how it feels to be in the room with any amp cranked the fuck up. To me that is part of the excitement of playing guitar. I feel like that is missing on some of my favorite bands records. Digital stuff is cool and who is going to be able to tell if its a real amp and speakers or not when its in the mix on a recording? I feel like some of the awesome albums out there would be better if they had used really loud amps in the studio instead of just whatever digital mock-up
I approve of this tone.
Few videos capture the true essence of a recto
That Rose of Sharon riff is such a nasty one!
When you started playing killswitch I knew i was in for a good time
The lame rock band??? Lol c'mon dude
Beautiful
Incredible tone.
Nothing is better than a boosted Recto🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Besides Engl and EVH…
@@Hadouken5150but boosted Mesa Recto beats them in tighness and overall presence.

@@blizzbee sold it already!
So what’s the riff at1:08?
Idols and anchors by parkway drive
Hi! Nice tone! So, the cab is a 1960 vintage with 2 Mesa v30s and 2 Classic Leads in X pattern?
Sounds like St. Anger
What version is your rectifier? Sounds awesome!

NICE! 🤘
My old school Mesa Boogie 2 channel triple rectifier rev G is the most aggressive rectifier of all in my opinion
CL80 is the GOAT speaker.
а tripple rectifier есть у тебя ? интересно послушать)
Rev ??

Good Lord
This is fuckin' ohuenno zvuchit😂
mute hand, working well..
I prefer jcm800. Dual rectifier is too muddy.
