Honestly a lot of people go overboard with those x pipes, it just makes a car louder but not make a better sound while the h pipe does make a sound a lot deeper and more rumble
more people go wit the x pipe because it gives more power over the h pipe. the x pipe allows for way better airflow.
@@d13g0.3 look at steedas test bestween the x pipe and h pipe. they found out that the h pipe is making more horse power on the s650s
@@d13g0.3 X more hp, H more torque. But for your daily driver (99% of people buying aren't tracking their car), the "gains" aren't noticeable.
Honestly what I find the most impressive about your exhausts in the closed sound. Loud is easy but to make a 500hp V8 nearly silent with valves closed is under appreciated
its an exhaust that compliments the exhaust note. really cool system and doesn't sound like you're trying to be obnoxious..
I want to build my car so bad just to get one of your exhaust. Sadly have to take care of my mom. One day man one day.
We will be here when you're ready!
Absolutely love the coyote flat crank raspy sound. When you hear that you know damn well that's a Mustang with a V8. I went with these things works Redline headers and Cat-Back system totaling between 5 and 6,000.. sounds like a jet fighter
I waiting on my delivery of my 2025 GT Whipple Gen6, kooks longtubes no cats, valvetronic exhaust. I CAN NOT WAIT
Best sounding exhaust for the S650 in my opinion. Does this system fit the Dark Horse ??
Haha the one where he said it’s too raspy and doesn’t sound good is the sound I like.
agreed you cant mistake it for anything other than a v8 mustang.
Quality of system looks top notch and it sounds real good but at 3k dollars it’s gonna be hard to go up against the active exhaust from factory
sounds nice. It doesn’t have the raspy “tin can” sound like I’ve heard from other exhausts on the s650s
We need your help to share this around! All these mustangs are getting the wrong exhaust! This is the solution
The coyote is one of the hardest engines to make sound good.
If it’s not the rasp, it’s the clap.
When you tame or eliminate both, you’ve nailed it.
I used a flowmaster pro series outlaw on my ‘21 f150 and it’s basically perfect. They use a blockade inside the muffler somewhat like a satellite dish.
Purpose for that is to create drag on the backside of the “plug”.
Also the body is hollow, no packing with a perforated tube through the center and the plug dead middle of the tube.
So the plug actually blocks less area than what’s around it…
Meaning the plug is 3” and the muffler body is 5”.
The “drag” on the backside of the plug cause a suction on the air in front of it.
Pretty simple, yet genius design.
I’m not gonna lie, I liked the in throttle sound of the competitor a bit more
Yeah the car with headers that he said was too raspy was bad ass
I like to hear the car idling for the simple fact that I'm not likely to be sitting somewhere just revving the engine.
idk why but this and the rs7 from your other vid bith sound like a w204 c63 amg
Bought myself a corsa xtreme, but with going catless soon, might need to switch to this system. Would the universal mufflers fit instead of having to buy the whole system? Would rather not have to buy whole new cat back if I already got the 3in pipes 😂
@@coreymc4013 yes they fit!
@@valvetronic perfect! Thanks!
I have a cammed/headers LS3 5th gen Camaro SS and recently installed the 3" Corsa Xtreme cat back. I absolutely love the sound, but sometimes it's just too much. Neighbors have never complained, but sometimes you just like to lay low. I never start the car after 10pm or before 8am, as it is just insanely loud, and I prefer to not be 'that guy'. I have had so many different exhausts on this car it's ridiculous. It may be time to go with a valved system. There are a few out there that would do the job, but they all seem to sound like ass. So yeah, I totally understand not wanting to go with another system, as this gets very expensive. Just the Corsa system alone was $2k.
The ability to quiet down the exhaust is nice with the valves closed. But the open sound just isn’t there. It’s got the wet fart sound going on… I think you guys are on the right track but you need a different muffler design to find the deep tone we all want. The Steeda 3” catback sound is ideal, but unfortunately isn’t valved.
This is stock cats. You must hear in person as the sound is much cleaner than anything else on the market. Tone would be louder with aftermarket downpipes, which is likely what you have
@ my car is completely stock with a Steeda 3” Cat Back. The sound is perfect. I’m installing catless headers over the winter though, which is why I’m in the market for a valved exhaust to quiet the car down.
It sounds good, but I prefer the Borla S Type. That said, $399 to have an active exhaust is def a nice option. But why is AM charging $599 for the same thing?
Yall have anything for the S650 Ecoboost?
You have a universal quad tip muffler yet ?
yes it’s available on the website!
Can I still switch from my factory active options like normal sport and track from the touch screen?
Can we order it so it uses the factory exhaust actuators
Active version for the Dark Horse?
Sounds exactly like the stock active exhaust I already have. 🤷
similar but it’s a good
chunk louder and it’s the perfect option for when you do headers
Does this work if the car doesn’t have active exhaust?
yes it does!
Lose that resonator so it’ll sound like a mustang, what youve done bumble bee in a tin can it
sponser me
Doesn’t sound that good
WRONG! you had to have been there
