Looks like I’m adding Hill and Dale to my list of blocked maps after this (as someone who doesn’t play mongol)
I feel my mongol strat is a bit better, I usualy start with 2 vills on gold, 4 on food. go up to 5 on food, 5 on wood until i have 300 wood for two stables on the ovoo. From there age up to feudal and prep to squeeze out two double keshik, even the french get absolutely destoryed by that move. This strat brought a beginner like me straight up to platinum xD

HRE VS Mongol, Chinese, French. Proxy a dark age rax. Pump out some spearmen, harrass their eco. When Fuedal, pump rams. Kind of cheesy on Plats/Diamonds

It’s important to note that when you were comparing the stats of the knight vs keshik, tje keshiks were still age 2 being compared to an age 3 unit. Their armor matches the knight in age 3 and their damage goes up to 19 I think

How is the matchmaking in new season? I ended up diamond last season but played against puppypaw against my placement match lol😂
Op unit considering all sneaky options mongols have early game, especially in multiplayer.
I don't understand why drongo insists on comparing Feudal Keshiks against castle knights they aint that bad and have the same armor as knights

Mongol trade is still scary. Especially on a map like this, and also now that traders get gold on each pass. When you used to kill a trader you might have snuffed out almost 2 trips worth of gold but now it’s only ever going to be one.
Mongols got nerfed into the ground. This is a tiny adjustment they are still c tier at best

I wanted Aoe 4 to suceed so bad but its just to little to late. The Update is nice but still far from what i wanted. Make arrows really balistic, more unique units for all civs, a real Campaign for real i played AoE 3s like 4 times, No House walls and the walls we got are ugly big and rearly more usfull than a Housewall. And something new, i feel like AoE4 could be a remaster of 2 with some mechanics of 3 but they didnt try really. Why dont put more Economy stuff in it, the city fom the first trailer looked awsome and i hoped it would play a little bit more like stronghold.
I feel like they wanted to play it safe and just made a worse AoE2.
Then play aoe2

No one cares for campaigns really. There’s more uniqueness in AoE4 than 2. Strange criticisms. Take a chill pill.
@@thegorn nah not really, a lot liked the campaigns in 3 they were great. What exactly is unique in 4? It only really has stuff that 2 and 3 already had and did better.
I would instantly quit AoE 4 if they introduced arrow dodging, like many other players as well.
You already have AoE 2 for anyone who wants to babysit every individual unit and break the counter system by microing.
