I remember in TA, you could force attack a pixel away from your big bertha and it would just fire beyond its range. Don't suppose that's a feature of BAR? :D

Very cool replay! Would love to see you go for mass nukes, like 8 or 10 next time. A tactic I use sometimes, people usually make 1 anti nuke and then forget about nukes but If you build enough of them then they can get through and it's a lot of fun

When playing air, use the attack line command. It helps a ton, otherwise the planes get confused every time they lose sight.
As a former TA player, and having no idea about this game's unit names, I appreciate the TA games
For rez the wreckage must have enough HP (the gray bar if you hover over it) for it to resurrected otherwise it just becomes debris and only be reclaimed. Fiends explode when they die so they dont leave a wreckage but a debris. If you self-D it dosent leave anything wreckage or otherwise, so if you have a juggernaut that is about to die its best to self-D so the other team cant reclaim or rez the unit
33:30 Ticks are vulnerable to Juno anti-mine/scout/radar/jammer missiles, it would take just 1 missile into your tick-spam factories to shut them down in the area and insta-kill them for like 30 seconds or so.
Yeah, this is why you don't want to spam just Ticks (although it seems like players often get away with it anyway because people forget the Juno exists) but I think it's probably better to spam a mix of units instead of a single type. Drongo had mostly Pawns with an occasional Crossbow in this one, but you could add in a couple of Ticks to that and get their speed and vision without leaving you too vulnerable to Junos. There are a lot of situations where I bet adding in a Mace or Centurion to the spam could make defending against it much more difficult, too.
And if you're setting up 4 labs they don't all have to be T1 bot labs, you could mix in a vehicle lab to make Stouts or Shellshockers, or spam the cheaper T2 bots like Sprinters, Tumbleweeds, Ghosts, etc. to create as many different target profiles as possible that the defender has to deal with alongside the flood of basic infantry.
Juno is t1 and massively useful, only issue is it doesn't kill threatening units.
It does kill support units used in every strategy and is a great assist when seiging or counter siege to remove radars and jammers
generally speaking I like pretty much any cake that has as little frosting as it can get away with (this stays true even with good frosting not just that abomination coating storebought cakes) cheesecake meanwhile is literally nothing _but_ frosting and somehow manages to be among my favorites...possibly because it is actually a general category of [custard pie] with "cake" in it's name rather than a general category of [cake]

Zero-K is another TA successor that's also available for free on Steam, and Sanctuary is an upcoming nextgen successor that should come out later this year or next year.
I love emergent gameplay like that. It's a morton's fork too, either you remove the defense to stop the shelling and thus whatever it was defending goes down, or you don't and live with the constant shelling.

TA was the game that led me to strategy games 20years later ive only just started on this game so getting the hang of it then will try online. Great videos very helpful and entertaining
I think ticks are more annoying to deal with pawns, more of them and faster. However, Juno's stop ticks really well. So winter says, ticks first, and when the enemy starts using Juno's switch to pawns.
I wonder if one could simply place the ragnarok behind a mountain and order it to fire at the very edge of the peak, allowing some of the randomly-spread shots to miss high and fly across the whole map.

you can reclaim pretty much anything, even as little as a grave robber. so long as the explosion that killed the bot wasnt too big as to completely anihilate the bot.
a thor lighting up grunts will kill 30 in a single shot, probably only 5 can be revived and 10 can be harvested, due to the highly destructive nature of high caliber guns
your macro is god tier... i like the 2 T1 mex at 13 mins, thats my highlight :D

to respond to what you said around the 1 minute mark about the pink player position often going towards yours: i think it is fair, the middle point is between you AND your half has far fewer rocks getting in the way. so youre expecting them to take less than half the size and the part that has less build-able land % and that is not okay in my opinion.
You're wrong on the cheesecake. It's one of those archetypal cases where less is most definitely more. An unspoilt, vanilla, ricotta cheesecake is to die for!

Just started to notice but you should really look to leave a little bit of metal in your commander so you can revive it once your eco is a bit better

cheesecake isn't a cake, it's a pie/cake hybrid.
Ticks are better to spam until they start Junoing. If they never do it, it's straight better than pawns. It's so easy to just switch to pawns if they "counter" (way more micro and brainpower to them).
also ticks have muchwider view range, so in combo with the snipers they make way more sense.
Don’t play, but have you ever tried building your own keepers to extend the range? The cannon could cover the build and force fields typically protect themselves lol

Yup, inspired by TA - but the devs wish to make the game different.
How many shields does it take to stop ragnarok? Did somebody do maths about it? I once blocked it with 15 shields, but I had a crazy eco and didn’t care that much about resources

Commander corpses can be scavenged for 2k metal, which at t1 is like boosting your metal ahead by 3 minutes of idle mining.
With the experimental nerf its still 2 min worth of rush.
With the latest patch, the dropped metal is 1250m

exactly! .. everyone wants to be a robot these days.. just memorize the "perfect" or "meta" buildorder and win by being faster... at this point it would only be more effective to hack the game and fully automize it..
i dont know how we can stop this bs, it spreads out into every type of game.. be as fast as possible and win with aggression.. that leaves no space for fun.. makes every "game" feel like work...
