Saw this dude and the drummer live with kamasi washington, my god, what an experience
R0kushi just saw them too my gawd... church!
Kamasi just played his first show since forever at the Hollywood Bowl today and I was there for these two and it's absolutely as incredible as you say.
Tony Austin
That's the most impressive thing I've seen in a while
Clicking this video was one of the best choices I made this day...
Pablo gonzález check also the one at Santa Monica pier, if you haven’t yet.
I imagine people like Cliff Burton & Stevie Ray Vaughn are somewhere watching this thinking "This guy is dope"
Miles is like Hendrix on upright bass..this song has that vibe to...love it!
I like this more than the studio version
I checked out the studio version and was sorely disappointed
I adore this beyond words. I don't think a better drummer exists
Tony Austin
Merci miles😢
Amazing
What the hell did I just hear? AWESOME!!
brain melted as soon as MM whipped out the bow/stutter pedal combo. bad ass
D C
Gives me goosebumps every time
Goodness gracious...
seen live at Umbria Jazz 2019 with Kamasi Washington ... I still have the chills. A creative musician, disruptive but with a spiritual approach, with a beautiful voice and an explorer of the double bass and its potential. I can say that today, a musician like Miles Mosley is like the rain in the desert: a blessing. Who put thumb down, or is not a great user of good music or is envious that goes to look for the hair in the egg so as to be able to demolish the greatness of a great musician .. Perhaps because it does not come to understand certain music ... like the fox who does not reach the grapes and then says that he does not like grapes!
I’ve never er seen a upright bass played like this before. This was so dope.
Miles is a BASS playing BEAST! So glad i got to meet him, a true gentleman. This right here is AMAZING!
I can't stop watching this, it is the hippest thing I've seen and heard in ages!!
Watched him last night live at cape town jazz fest and was blown away... new favourite artist instantly...
who are the 7 people with busted earholes who gave this a thumbs down? unfathomable.
Al momento è il pezzo dell'anno
Lord have Mercy! Saw these guys last night and miracles were performed!
Wow 😲 I’m blown out the water! Cuz I play the upright bass; but this was on a wholenother level. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Awesome performance Bro! Gotta give the drummer some love too; he was in the pocket crushing it!!!! 💯
U thought u played until u seen this cat lol
Call Tony 2 Guns "Lint" 'cause he lives in the pocket.
I like this version of the song so much better than the actual version of it.
Thks for the sweet Piano Bar Days in LA, my favourite tracks r Abraham & Roar
I love this song, Brother Mosley...
This is utterly brilliant.
I am back in 2020 watching this again... still bananas man. Great stuff.
I love UA-cam for these rare gems. Sweeeeet!
You can call me Abraham
Straight from the mountains of Jerusalem
I got my shield, I got my sword
Forged from Egyptian gold
I'm feared I haven't cried in years Sho'nuff I'm scared Mediocrities everywhere
But not here!
You can call me Abraham
Bedrock tough like Bethlehem
Because I'm a little 51-50
I can hit a target that disappears
I lay your body down right by the river
I lay your body down in style
I keep a side-eye trained on Lazarus
I pulled the rock to the side of the tomb Dig it, man: Ka-Boom!
Brothers need to stand up!
You can call me Abraham
Straight from the mountains of Jerusalem
I got my shield and I got my sword Forged from Egyptian gold
I lay your body down right by the river
I lay your body down in style Because I'm a little 51-50
I can hit a target that disappears
Amazing talent, a fine ear, brilliant inventiveness, and a knife sharp intelligence, all held up by some deep hipness. Or better yet, badassness.
Amazing sound !
So glad I found Miles Mosley on Kinda Neat
Saw this on lollapalooza argentina this year, I fell in love with it
This is a great mix
That's so awesome!!! My man. Love from Dublin.
Miles Mosley for president!
Sh.t!!!!!! How damn cool is THIS????? WOW!
Killin’ it. Damn.

Damn this is impressive
Odavno ovako nešto dobro nisam čuo.

Ouch!!! It's sick, but still in pocket 🤘😎🤘 keep rockin' guys!!! 👊😎
The finale of Homeland brought me here!
Righteous Groove!
Que lindo ser libro ahí, y como se encienden esos dos.
Here after last night's gig in Mumbai. What the fuck is this trackkkk and this brilliance!!!
Righteous Dudes. 😎
bravo MM!!
Parabéns, Gratuliere, Congratulation!!!!!!
I saw him perform Abraham (with Kamasi Washington) in Antwerp yesterday (Jazz Middelheim). Incredible. What a performer, player, singer. If you can get hold of the recording, let me know. Maybe Klara Radio.
Gênio!!!!!!!!
YYeeaaaahhh!
j’adhère!!!!
Wow!
cool stuff like!!
ON Point!
Why don’t Miles, Kamasi Washington, Thundercat and Brandon Coleman all do a collab and it will be madness but absolute abstract bliss
The drummer! Who? Is? This? 👏👏👏👏
Fucking amazing!!!
What is he wearing on his shoulder? Also the drummer is killer.
This guy makes me want to learn how to play the bass.
Does anybody know the name of the effect used in this performance? Got a similar one but not sure if it's the same
Tony austin is so fucking cool
That’s some fine pocket drumming right there
Might as well call that dude Lint cause he lives in the pocket
You should've been mentioned the drummer in the description of the video...
Yup... he's VICIOUSLY STYLISTIC with that left-hand dandy work
Can you imagine the 🔥 if Miles got Tom Morello to guest on this one???
Anyone know what that thing is on Miles' arm?
Whatever it is, it's forged from Egyptian gold.
Great !! Who is the drummer ?
Tony Austin
απο ελλαδα ρε μαγκες ακουει κανεις τους απιστευτους?
nai re
I can see why Jonathan davis found this guy never seen such a amazing stand up player
4:38 any idea what kind of pedal is it?
Seems to be a Line 6 Tonecore Tap Tremolo
I've been thinking this whole time that Mosley is the new Mingus, but I'm starting to think Mingus is a mere predecessor...he only set the foundation for THIS fucking monster. I can't believe the sounds he is getting out of that bass and out of his band.
It is so rare that a UA-cam comment perfectly sums up what I couldn't say myself, but definitely feel. I agree with you 100%.
this must be a comment from the future, 'cos by 2039 you'll be kinda right...
Two different monsters...
Mingus was a fucking composer too
my new religion
Miles Mosley does always the same thing: wah wah on bass, explosive part with bow and then no-effect-bass.
Drummer?????
Tony Austin
I guess I get to place the proverbial infamous "FIRST" Comment
Reckless hid
If tom morello played bass
Gunslinger
