risk of rain 2 is maybe one of the best games ive ever played with an absolutely amazing soundtrack

I wouldn't say it's "bad" but I also did not really enjoy it. Objectively it has all the elements of a good game and good rouguelike so I can see where it gets all of its praise not to mention how hard the difficulty scaling can be making it so the game isn't just a walk in the park if you have a good run. Still not my type of game either but that doesn't make it a bad game. @@kr1me2000
The Binding of Isaac is easily the top for me. The final DLC Repentance and the ones before it breath so much more life and replay ability into the game, and the game is costantly daring you to break it with insane items to unlock, on top of there being 30+ different characters to choose from. Amazing game, definitely goes into the SS tier 🙏

@@wingdingfontbro as far as I’m aware, Edmund said Repentance is the final add on for Isaac, but there will still a few updates for balancing and potential reworks of things
@@wingdingfontbro Edmund has had enough of isaac for now, he's doing some smaller games on the side and is thinking about releasing a new isaac game in a decade or so lol
You should try Binding of Isaac: Rebirth with the DLCs. I is arguably better than all of the games in S tier (of course, everyone can have their opinions, this happens to be mine)

The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is absolutely phenomenal. Just got the Repentence DLC and its made a game i easily have over 1000 hours in feel completely fresh all over again. S++++++ tier. Then Hades in S tier for me. Original Isaac ill agree on the A tier.
Definitely try Isaac rebirth, and some other key roguelite games to check out are risk of rain 2, synthetik, and Into the Breach (same devs as FTL) nuclear throne -- and if you have time, noita, spelunky, Rogue Legacy 1 & 2. Then revisit the tier list and make another one 💪
I reccommend you playing Shattered Pixel Dungeon (a variarion of the classic Pixel Dungeon, only that this one has better textures, has more content and it is actually balanced)
It is free on Android and avilable on IPhone and PC (but it costs money there, nothing is changed, tho).
The first rouguelike I ever played, very simple on the surface, not much in reality. I challenge you to beat it without any external advice, it will feel better once you beat it.
You will die. A lot of times. That part is not optional, you will die.

A roguelike that i discovered recently is slice and dice, rhe definition of short and sweet, another really important one that i think you misses is RoR 2 that released the latest dlc a year ago, and the last one you should try is pirates outlaws, really sumilar to Slay the Spire and due to you ranking Dlay the Spire that high i think you probably will like ir
RoR is one I gotta play more. Slice and Dice may be worth a look!
if you liked ftl you should try ftl multiverse mod, its just awesome, so much content, lore and more secrets to be found, Id love to explain but its really much better to try it for yourself

You know, Arknights have awesome rougelike gamemode
one step from eden and wizard of legend are some lesser known roguelikes that i really enjoyed and i recommend you play it
I think with all the updates Sifu belongs in low A

What about Rogue Legacy 2? By the fact that it isn't on the list i guess that you didn't have the possibility to test it out. Which i would really recommend.The first game was my first ever rogue like, and second one is probably an easy A tier for me, maybe i could even argue for S, but it is more based on my personnal connection to the first part. (As for now, i played everything from the list with the exception of Crab, PlayUp and Playale Mochup, they are just not my style.)

@@PHIZZI Now's probably the best time to get into it, literally thousands of hours of gameplay and multiple game modes including a great roguelike that contributes your long term progression in the other mode, and there are new cinematic quests which are incredible and AAA worth on their own

Crypt Of The Necrodancer actually got a big DLC last year! It added a lot of content, full mod support and polished the game like Repentance did it to TBOI. Also online coop, which is rather fun

@@PHIZZI I’m not sure when it came out I just got it for free one month with ps+ and it actually has some good gameplay with fun maps and a nice little class system and abilities

I HIGHLY recommend Nuclear Throne, very surprised that you haven't played it, it's a heavy inspiration for enter the gungeon and has a perfect degree of randomness vs pre generated chaos, with a wider array of simple yet unique characters and laods of difficult shit to unlock

This was a really fun list!
I thought I would never be able to play any games that required a lot of quick movement, fast reflexes or had low contrast (no dark souls or obra dinn for me, I straight up cannot see them). Then I played going under, which is such a good roguelike with bright colors and really good accessibility settings! Turns out in that game all i need is to give myself 2 extra lives and some more weapon durability and it became really fun and challenging instead of nearly impossible.
I'm bringing this up because two of the games you have in your s-tier, Hades and dead cells are not only great games but really customisable for ones needs! In hades surprisingly all I needed was to turn up the brightness in game and I think that speaks to how versatile of a game it is even without any extra settings (which it does have!). I've played it about 150 hours without any problems and it really made me realize that I could find games that were enjoyable withouth being frustratingly difficult for the wrong reasons.
I didn't get dead cells for a long time because it really looked like I might have a very hard time just perceiving stuff and even though I was correct that game has one of the best accessibility settings I have seen! Things I did didn't make the game really that much easier but again, made it playable. I have a white outline on my character, a slight color filter on the background and the brightness up and it works like a charm! I also gave myself a slightly longer time to parry and now, while i do quite bad at the game I'm having a blast!
Sorry for writing bit of novel, I just really wanted to point out another aspect of what makes these games so great. Also this list gave me a really good idea of what I could possibly play next (and what i couldn't, which is also great to know!)

@@ZiggityZeke I was kinda joking with this comment but I don't see what's bad about repentance, it adds a huuuuge amount of content, including a real ending. The only thing is that it's hard as balls until you unlock the broken items

There are 4 games I'd love to talk about that you didn't mention and you should go play.
Simplest I'd like to mention is Roll, it's 5 dollars on steam and you get 2,500 dice rolls to get as many points as possible. Play with the different dice faces and passives you can get from the shop to boost your score.
Lobotomy Corporation is a management game where every day you get a new monster to keep contained. You use your employees to interact with them to make energy, however you have no information about them until you start working with them. From these monsters you can also get equipment from them for your employees to use, suits to change strengths and weaknesses and weapons with different ranges, damage types and uses. It also has a rich story.
Library of Ruina is a deck builder where you invite guests to your library with the promise of knowledge, kill them and take their abilities to mix and match. You can make your guests succumb to many different flavors of death depending on your build between your librarians. Fire, bleed, *you will die if you touch me* and so much more. Sequel to Lobotomy Corporation.
Limbus Company has you play as Dante, aka Senior Clockface who had his head turn into a clock and lost all his memories. He now has to lead 12 morons who he can infinitely revive to retrieve Golden Boughs, remnants of Lob Corp's technology. When completing levels you gain a currency that you can spend to acquire new skill sets for your 12 morons, allowing you to make your foes experience even more flavors of death than Ruina. The main rouge-like element to Limbus is the Mirror dungeons, where you must go through multiple battles to proceed through the floors of he dungeon and receive a reward at the end. On your journey you will obtain E.G.O gifts, which provide various passive effects to the sinners you choose to bring.
Now those are some indie recs! I'll add them to my list to look at

nice video man and yes i will yell at you for i dont agree on inscryption and sifu not bein an s tier and u should try skull the hero slayer and fear and hunger skull is a b to a tier for me and and fear and hunger is well it is a something alright and one of the best games at being that something at the least for me that is and if you happen to like that game there is a sequel of it too i have one more game to recommend it is loot river i have not played it yet so i cant tell if its good or bad but people seem to like it and it looks like an s tier and has some interesting mechanics (and i have not sen anyone make a video abt it so be the one phizzi pls be the one)
If Inscryption didnt have that 2nd chapter dip it'd be right up there. Sifu... gotta do them dlcs and finish it maybe it'll creep up.

@@PHIZZI i personally like the chapter two but yea thats just my opinion btw in case u didnt know there is a mod called kaycees mod which is just about chapter one it extends it in a way and the dev himself made it so it has some interesting lore inside it too u should check it out i think it will give u the inscryption experience u wanted from the game
