DRAINING 6 FOOT OF HEIGHT BEAVER DAM!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 кві 2023
- Draining beaver dam which was 8 metres of width and almost 2 meters of height. This dam was near some historical place. The road which was nearby nearly under the water. I am sure in wet season it is! It's dangerous to drive there. But it took 2 days to me to reduce water level till bottom. Actually it's one of the biggest dams I've ever drained.
Enjoy!

I see the beavers aren't messing around anymore, done with sticks, now they roll in bales of hay 😂
One man, one shovel, one pick, and one resolve. Good work. Beautiful video.
That hay bale is by far the most impressive thing I've ever seen beavers add to a dam.
Actually the farmers are building their own beaver dams!
@@woofinu it turns out the beavers called him to remove a farmers' dam
Must have been a big beaver that lugged that thing in there. Those things weigh 600lb or more!
@@ozymandias7940 Try around 700 + Kilos
👍
One of the best tear outs you've ever done. Fab.
Your drone fly overs are amazing 😮
I look forward to your uploads, thank you.
GOOD JOB, KEEP WELL...
I enjoy watching all of your videos. Noise of the running water when you open the dam is so soothing!
What a pile of branches, great work buddy. The farmers owe you a debt of gratitude for helping drain their land.
He should've gotten a machine to dig the beavers dam out
@@donaldalexanderrichards4422 it would have made it easier to get done. Could have shaped the banks to make it harder for a rebuild of the dam.
You know it’s a big beaver damn when a rolled hay bale is almost sunk in it
You are really going to have to hit the gym if the beavers are starting to use hay bales in their dams! Enjoyable video.
Or bring out the Barrett and solve the beaver problem because if they can move that it's one big beaver
Wow, that is a lot of water that flowed downstream. You can see the difference along the edge above the dam.
Impressive dam! Loads of sticks and mud! Really hard work! 💪🏋️♀️ The farmers should pay you for doing their job. 👍😃
I knew they were going to use that bale! Smart squirrels up there...
It’s almost completely sunk in there, that’s a deep damn
Thank you for the drone footage showing not only upstream, where the water came from, but downstream where the water went. Also my personnel preference is a slightly larger view of the damn. I like to see what, if anything, is going on around you also. Good Job, Kudos
A dam that tall must have taken a long time to build. I'm surprised even with little use of the road that nobody had it removed sooner. With freezing temperatures, I know here in the US that's not good for the road. Great work.
Beaver have that built in a few nights, maybe one
Wow ! Great work you did there !! 👏👏
The large hay roll looks like a mobile beaver lodge. You better be careful as they may be bringing in friends from far away, and they are bringing beaver caravans. Or even prefab housing like house trailers in the US. They are sneaky. 😆. what is the value of one of those hay rolls in Beaver Land, also known as Palanga, Lithuania area. They cost $30 to $100 in the US, depending on the grade of feed.
Here's about 20$ - 30$ ;)
Tremendous effort on your part. Blessings to you and your loved ones.
The beavers are stepping up their game by using a hay bale.
Hello Mantas
I love watching your videos before going to sleep, very calming and relaxing for me, but lots of hard work for you
Thank you for making these videos for us to enjoy
Enjoy your weekend with your family
Greetings from Melbourne Australia 🦘❤️❤️❤️
You are welcome!
You earned the Golden Rack & Shovel on that one!!!!!
Good job! That needs a excavator to remove all that mud for sure. I know I've said it before but what a beautiful area .
It is fun to support a good person doing good work. Don't take a beaver for granted, they are deceivers.
Wow, that dam is huge and holding back such a massive amount of water. Looks like the beavers have got hold of a front-loader too - with that hay bale 😂. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Easter, best regards from N Wales, UK.
Very good job and excellent drone view. Liked it very much. Wish you and your family a very happy Easter.🎉
That one has been there awhile. It's pretty incredible how smart beavers are. Great one brother. Keep up the great work and as always. Thank you for the entertainment
You might become my new favorite sleep dealer.
Good job again. Maybe if you has slicced the bale open at the start the fragments would have washed away.
Amazing.
I'm amazed at how those little critters can build such a huge damn, one stick at a time. They're quite strong too, takes some effort to pull them apart.
Looks like hard work, I think I would have opted for a back hoe or a couple of sticks of dynamite. Blown it sky high!
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Every beaver dam is different.
Wow.
The beavers got help from the cows. Lol
Cool video.
Stay safe out there.
A marathon video today. Two unclogging and nice waters flows. Enjoy the weekend, and Happy Easter if observed. Cheers Mantas!😊
Wow .... the beavers did really take good materials for the dam to build this time, they even used a big roll of straw to clog the dam. and they made sure the bush would grow right tru the dam too.
Great technique to use a shovel to dig a wider and deeper channel. Most of that happens under water so we cannot see, but do you feel the water pressure change when you stand there?
If I try that, the water flow would probably push me out to the Baltic Sea😀
Yes, I feel water pressure for sure :)
Hi I Think You Are Really Good At What You Do From Blue In England
That was a lot of work and effort. Great job.
Well done!
Very well done dude , great job 🎉
I fished the east fork of the Gallatin River for a good 20 years, floated it twice. and your country sure resembles that water course I saw a lot of.
Thanks, I always love the drone footage 💜
That hay bale is saturated with water, so it likely weighs more than a ton. It's probably not a good idea to stand next to it as you try your best to undermine it with your shovel. If it falls over you would be trapped and lucky to survive.
It would move very slow in case water hook it up. This bale was standing quite well there.
Watching from Kansas, great job you're doing.
Hard work done well.
Beautiful land!
Thanks!
Thank You very much!
That was awesome!
Good work, the view of the drome is also very nice 👍👍
I australia hay bales are added to water to clean the water up, somehow it filters / purifies it. Do you think thats why it was in the water or it was accidental
Great work Kenn day two seemed to make a large difference visually. Stork has a nest there somewhere? Nice to see thanks.
Good job 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Invest in a wood chipper, so you can turn it into mulch for your back or front yard, when you need them to be.
you mpoor poor thing you must have been knackered after doing this very very large dam this is up there to be the biggest does not help with the roots growing through it take care debbie xxxx
Awesome job. Keep up the great work.
Hi Keni, from Portland, OR. USA We have beavers, too.
I'm looking at your small push saw. What you need is a GOMBOY Silky saw. Folder type . Teeth? choose Large Medium or Fine. Size? 150, 180, 200 mm. For your work incl. mud, water and stone, get large teeth. The Silky will cut on the pull stroke, not the push. Much better for what you do......
Very big beaver dam and de pile of hay good job
All the beaver dams I've seen in Montana where about as individual as the beaver that made it. Every one was differently made. A lot of brook trout were killed at each one. But, they each had an individual style you couldn't miss.
Awesome job!! If i cant be wrecking shit then i will watch someone do it i like watching beaver dams being taken apart and seeing how well the beavers can build a dam. New subscriber from Medicine Hat Alberta Canada.
That was a great effort. Well done. Cheers
👍
Great job and love the countryside ❤
Thanks!
Ecselente. Desde Chile
The bailed hay sure doesn't belong in the Chanel ,there is a huge amount of stored water behind that dam ,Happy Easter Ken to you and your family super job
great video,
Any thoughts on how the hay bales got in the canal?
I think farmer's mistake while dropping on the ground.
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Just checkin.
I REMEMBER THAT DAM FROM YOUR DRONE SHOT
:)
What I want to know is exactly how those beavers moved an entire bale of hay! 😅
I guess it's farmers mistake :)
I'd bet that dam has seen several winters.
Wow, The Bale,
Please explain the bale. It could not have been That windy. Are there bulls in the field , lol. This is gonna be fun watching 💚🌲💚
Maybe when farmer was dropping it on the ground he made mistake :)
The water definitely went way down. The line on the bail shows it.
I bet you slept well that night. That was quite a work out. Steven Sipes
Daughter was crying :)
Would Love 2 see you use Tannerite ! I know you would like it !
Awesome Jobs & Great Videos !
It's illegal, he mentioned in another video.
That has a ton of sticks shoved in there in ALL different directions. I’m sure that made it even more difficult to dismantle. ❤
I know you are doing a good job the only thing is it wouldn’t take the beavers long block it up again if you leave most of the sides
Let it be :)
Job security...
😂
Saubere Arbeit...das würde ich auch gerne machen 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I see you are using a saw as part of your war bag of tools! How's that working out for you? That bale looks quite unusual for flotsam! How's your little one doing? Well I hope.
Yes, saw is good while it's sharp :) Little one doing well! Thanks!
Here we use a heavy four tine fork to get through dirt and roots and it works well, might make the job easier for you, like your fork tool you have ❤
This tool which I have is very good for me :)
@@Kenislovas very good yes I want to make a copy of yours to use in my garden
Your opinion: __ Do you think the beavers rolled the hay bales into the rivulet to use as damming material??? Too big for one but two could move one of those.
That was a huge dam holding back a lot of water Mantas. How did the hay rolls get in the canal?
I guess it's farmers mistake.
Hey Papa. Did the Little Princess get rabbits and chocolate for Easter? Have a nice weekend.
Hi! She is too young for it yet :)
So Kenn are you going to try for this summer for the bet with the Mrs. ? 50k getting closer 🤷♂️😏 how’s Baby an kitty getting along? Kitty head with hobo’s stick 😂
Baby is feeling well! ;) Yes getting closer to 1st step :)

I SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR CHANNEL WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED BUT NOTICED I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN SORRY FOR THAT
I'm not being a smart Alec, but why did you let it get so bad ? 😊
That dam has to go! Those beavers better fear for their lives or move.
Those are some big hay bails I am assuming it's grass hay
Good to use a saw first and remove the loose sticks first.
densly packed branch's eh! Tough One
How did those bales of hay end up in the water
Farmers mistake I guess :)
have you considered driving a massive auger bit through the base and winching it off a land anchor to try an undermining approach?
Yes, but it's not interesting and there are many places where I can't reach dams with machine.
You can bet your ass that the beavers move in when they see you leave.
I have a question for you. Do people come by and pick up the sticks for fire wood? Steven Sipes
A back hole will make the job easier and faster
I enjoy watching your content. But I don't understand why you don't remove the beavers.
I am not able to do this :) I should hunt or trap them :)
I would not mess with that bale that weighs almost as much as a car, especially a wet one! If it rolls onto you, the beavers will use your bones in the next dam.
Before draining, I've checked this dude :)
Work from the sides my friend, the middle will wash out , saving you a lot of work
It depends…
The beavers wll be grateful, you gave them a nice small channel to block
Where are you from? Some nordic country?
Btw. great and clean job
Lithuania.
Did the beavers steal a hay bale? Because it looks like one resting on the back wall of the dam
I guess it's farmers mistake..
