Great coverage and story details
@@jamesburnside3023 Thank you for that James. Hopefully we will see M6 back in steam again in the future as it was a very popular locomotive on the Bellarine Railway.
Thank you, i had a cab ride in 1989 with my father. We shared fond memories of M6 for many years.
@@MySteamChannel Great memories. It’s a nice locomotive, it would be fantastic to see the engine back in steam again one day.
Great loco, a rare class as well as all are preserved.
They certainly are a lovely locomotive. Hopefully we will see M6 running again at some stage in the future.
Yep they're getting a collection of rusty relics in that Laker Siding Shed! Maybe a couple to run 6km shuttles one day between Lebrina and Denison Gorge on the Lone Star Railway Railtrail .
@@rsinclair6560 I wish I could have experienced the sight and sound of a steam locomotive working hard up the North East Line, especially with an M or MA class hauling it.
@@railmediaproductions3677It was spectacular in old worn out Queensland 1300 class (ZC) between Tullendeena and Ledgerwood, losing traction continuously on damp eucalyptus and fern fronds.. Probably one of the best and interesting sections in Australia yet hardly any train enthusiasts explored it. Tasmania really knows how to through away it's unique industrial history.
@@rsinclair6560 Hopefully it won’t be too long before the L&NER are able to get the railcars up and running.

@@railmediaproductions3677I think it will follow the route of Derwent Valley. There is better alternative for a cooperative.
7:02 whistle sounds a bit rough!!
@@Bushkid11 In later years the Bellarine Railway also fitted M6 with a 5 chime whistle.
@@Bushkid11 I haven’t forgotten about the Tasmanian videos of MA3, and H6 and the E class in the parks. I will put up a post in the community tab of the channel as soon as they are about to be released.
Ok!👍 also didn't know bellarine railway fitted a 5 chime on it thanks for the info!!
@@Bushkid11 It sounded pretty good on the loco 👍
