Precious film. Thanks for posting. I recognise some locations but wish more sections of track could be identified with captions. And I’m sure the newer editing programs could restore somewhat the dark footage.
you might be talking about somthing else but i know steamrail i think it is has a swingdoor tait but they have to restore it due to people lighting it on fire in the night
I really enjoyed that 30 minutes and I am not even a steam fan, great video of VR in the past.

I remember seeing some of the K class footage on Scott McGregors Railway Adventures when i was really little
Well picked up, I think he used some of my footage around Eildon Weir, a long time ago, cheers, Jim
Yes Scott borrowed my footage for his doco... well spotted
Great footage, thanks for posting!
Some precious memories there, especially the Canadian Red D3 639 in action. Just a shame so much image quality has deteriorated on the film.
Is some of that footage the Wodonga - Cudgewa line? Such a shame that line got closed.
Thankyou!
Nice one.. thanks
Brilliant
Thanks for that, glad you enjoyed it..
Great footage!
Great video, what ever happened to all the swingdoor rolling stock???
