I have the same jeep same color!! I came across your video because I have the same problem 4.5” lift on mine 😂 i was looking for reviews on the rough country ones I think I’m funna go with the same ones you got!
Would this work on a full sized truck, I’m building a 78 ford half ton and I wanna have it be the best work/offroad/daily driver pickup it can be so I don’t really wanna 4 link it so I can still haul fire wood and what not with it,
Ronnie, I unclamped the upper and lower radiator trans oil steel lines from the transmission's 3/8 rubber lines they clamp on to, so that I can install new trans oil cooler lines. I did not take note which they connect back to. the top steel line or the bottom steel line(that have the 3.8 rubber lines., can you help a girl out?
Probably to late to help, but easy way to find out is have a helper start the Jeep with the lines going into a bucket. Run it long enough to get flow, the pressure line goes into the cooler at the bottom port of the cooler.
Just bought my first xj...came with a rc short arm 4.5...any chance you think pulling a leaf out would make it ride better and possibly even move more then a half inch haha its stiff as ballz....came with the full leaf pack
You're better off ripping all the Rough Country crap out and replacing it with something better. There is a reason RC is so cheap and now you know why....
Cherokee Ronnie what slot hole did you put leaf spring in on the shackle? I have the same shackle relocation set and trying to find the best articulation and currently have it the 3rd hole from the front of hole.
I ran those shackle location brackets with the teraflex revolver shackle and it worked great

How do they change things
Would I have to lift the front more or are the shackles just for miss flex? Do the shackles give it more lift? Thanks
Hey Ronny! I want to get these for my Cherokee but it doesn’t look like they’re available anymore. Can you recommend something similar?

Mine has a 2" budget lift 31 Patagonia Mt rear locker and flexs like no other lol and I've done alot of stuff others won't even try 😉
So 31’s fit a 2” lift?? I just lifted my xj 2” with coils up front and shackles in the rear. Next is tires and it’s between 30’s and 31’s.
@@davedynamite1298 31s will fit. My original set up was 31s on a 2" 15x10" rim. Went with a 3" and running 32x11.50 on a 15x10 with no issues at all

You could try it it might be a little bouncy

@@danhambrick6331 I know lol I wouldn't have bought rc, but working on it. It's just what came on the thing. By some dude doing a California tune up
@@danhambrick6331 That's what I did. Never regretted it!
Thanks god bless

Should you take off your rear sway bar ? Even for daily driving?
I have no rear sway with absolutely 0 issues. The upcountry package jeep used to do came from the factory with no rear sway
the rear is so small it does very little
Dang, all sold out!
Wizard ??????
Remove the rear sway bar. Bingo
It’s not enough when your at 6.5 inches
@@cherokeeronnie at 6.5 it should be taken off anyways. 👍
Yeah I took off when it was stock 😂
