The visa extension shouldn't be a problem :) We extended ours twice without a problem recently (and managed to have the 2nd covid visa extension stamp earlier than we anticipated - we headed down 2 days earlier than the stated and they processed it for us pretty quickly! My wife and I are planning to come to Koh Phangan in the next couple of days, I wonder if you might be able to suggest, based on what you’ve seen, which area/side of the island has the calmer water (more flat/less windy - we noticed for ex. that in Ko Samui in the east side the water had more waves than in the north, so less clear water etc.)? We're definitely not experts on Phangan, but I can say that the coast at our hotel was very clear and calm. We stayed on the southern coast, west of the main port. We also noticed a lot of snorkelers on the northwestern coast, near Koh Ma.

Indeed! We did try to extend earlier but were told to come back closer to the expiration. In the end we figured it out in Bangkok. You are right that there's always one more form to fill 😂😂

Sorry for Thailand bureaucracy process that are so long. As we are thai, we do not satisfy it also and try to change it. Hopefully the other part of Thailand will convenience you and make you happy. Sorry for anythings that made you unhappy.
Having lived in Thailand for 3 years I know how frustrating it can become when renewing visas, my friends still there tell me it's easier now, best regards on a success, oh and I guess of it's a train trip you'll be heading to HH next
In the end we were able to renew our visas in Bangkok - there was no online form requirement at that office thankfully. It's quite the process! Lots of forms to fill, and they are always just a little different!
you did kindah called this one out over youreselves by waiting this long before aplying the extention to youre stay , might be able to talk to customs bat the airport about moving the experation date of youre current visa (maibe just hopping in and out through customs in one day ) so you have a little more time , if that whont work you could take a trip abroad and come back intoo thailand and just get youre short stay tourist visa , but that means youre back in a quarentine hotel for a week and it will cost you a plane ticket

I never seen a lady once tried this papaya salad and will not ask for more, Thai, American, European, Asian, Aussie ladies, all love this papaya salad. If you are not sure if you could bare with spiciness, just ask the vendor "no spicy" or say "prik med deaw" meaning "only one chili" Nice, cozy Vlog again. I always enjoy watching your journey ;)

In Phangan immigration are a pain in the ass they like sending people to samui which then makes super busy for all of us who live in samui
