Hi! Welcome. Thanks for watching.
Thanks dude. Love you. Love your work.
@Gypsy Jo Hi, thanks for watching. Lots of vegetarian options in the "Taco Tuesday" playlist. And yes! We're always brainstorming new veggie-forward tacos. Stay tuned!
Absolutely Love this recipe with cauliflower , thanks for sharing ❤️
Thank you for making and share this video with us!! especially those so Delicious Tacos !!!😉
Quick question: would dried buttermilk work with heavy cream to make Mexican crema? Thanks, you're my favorite chef!
you were and are my beacon of hope, thank you, ive never been able to visit your restaurant but your recipes are divine
How does he not have more subscribers, alot of people are missing out..... support the man so he can keep giving us these great videos...
I clicked subscribe. I love to support good people creating good content!
Just made these and holy heck they are delicious. I added some corn and topped it off with cotija cheese, cilantro, avocado, fresh tomatillo green salsa, and a squeeze of lime. So good and I will be making again.
Rick I got to say as someone who grew up in Mexico I totally approve of that head movement when eating the taco that is how you can point out a real professional
Great video looking forward of going to one of your restaurants!!!
I dont know if you read the comments, but I want to tell you that you are an inspiration. as a chef who just opend a mexican stand I like to vist your channel to find ideas, and your enthusiasm helps me through the harsh times. so thank you rick bayless.
Love veggie tacos..will try as soon as possible
Made this tonight (August 2021). Being in New Mexico, and it being green chile season, I used fresh, hot Hatch chiles in place of the poblanos (knowing that would be way too mild for us). Was really excellent. You are right how the caramelized onions play such an important role.
I own your first cook book to this very day!! and since going vegan i have adaped alot of your recipes to my vegan lifestyle! the Cream can be adapted to (raw cashews blened with water and salt-then reduced with salt and pepper-and some nutritional yeast) You are still my favorite chef of all time! Thank you for making an adaptive recipe even if its vegetairan and not vegan. I love GOOD chefs like you being able to adapt.....but ONLY the good chefs like you can! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
The best chef 👨🏻🍳. Loveeeee your recipes 😋
Those tacos look so good. A great way to use cauliflower. Cheers!
Awsome chef i love learning how to use all the different vegetables from the farmer's market. Keep em coming ! Its appreciated!
Thank you Mr. Bayless for the wonderful recipe!
This looks so good and I want to try it with pasta yummy 😋
I don't understand how this channel isn't one of the most popular cooking channels
Made these last night (Tuesday!) and they were outstanding. I had no crema or heavy cream so I used abt 1/4c light cream and a spoonful of sour cream which cooked down and thickened quite nicely. Also grated a bit of cotija on top. My family LOVED THEM!
Oh yum! So going to make these.
I love cauliflower Mexican rice, as well.
Hoping for more plant based tacos, or at least some that can be modified into plant based like this one! Thank you. Glad you support farmers. Appreciate the salt / professional chef tip, like a true teacher. Thank you!
Seriously? Lol!.....made tonight. Sooo good!!!!!! What a surprise! Thanks Rick!
Saludos desde los angeles amigo rick... ricos tacos 👍👍🍺🍻🍺🍻
Bro I saw you on muchies! Taco Tuesday is here!
just made this and it is just so frickin delicious. thx rick (and rick's team)!
I think I definitely have to make this for my mom
LOL. I made a cauliflower cream of mushroom soup that's sitting in the fridge. It's almost the same, except without the green chilis. But I have a bunch of Anaheim Chilis. How did UA-cam know to suggest this? I didn't even do a search on youtube! Surveillance!
Good tacos find you.
mmm. looks tasty. need to try that . thanks for sharing.
OK, now I have to make this, it looks delicious. You always make everything look so simple and approachable! I think a nice addition would be some additional texture in the form of maybe some radish, or purple cabbage or pepitas. Maybe pickled veg for some acid. Definitely making this the next time I do tacos!
Definitely have to try this. Thanks!
I love Taco Tuesday!! 🌮 🌮🌮 I’m definitely going to try this!
Yes... Don't you forget cilantro Chef !!
Gracias, mucho
I’ve never craved veggies more in my life!!!
That looks so good!!
Going to try it soon
Catching up on prior videos😊. This looks great!
They're really, really good. Perfect for a weeknight meal.
(: You always have great recipes Rick!!!!! Keep on making them! ☺
Taco Tuesday!!!!!!!!!
I made these for my youngest girl. She’s a vegetarian and I have to find an assortment of recipes so she just won’t get stuck on certain ingredients. I want her to try a variety.
I really want to make this for dinner now! Off I go to buy poblanos lol
Yummy sounds delicious
Delicious 😋
Looks absolutely delicious 👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful
what blows me away is Rick Bayless has probably eaten thousands of corn tortillas over his lifetime and at 6:36 of the video he is still excited about the smell of fresh tortillas.
Wow amazing
Yummy that looked good
Hi I’m your new fan!
I love your videos ❤️
Chef Bayless, just wanted to say I love this channel and your work! Also wanted to ask if you could do videos on tacos dorados (i.e. papa y frijol), enchiladas potosinas, and tacos de canasta. Many thanks end keep up the outstanding work!
Ay que rico👍👍
Love it
I am one of those that found out how good cauliflower is. Why the big secret before yo?!
That looks good amigo😋😋😋
How would you execute this in a restaurant setting? Would you roast the cauliflower and then store them for later use? If so how long do the last and how do you reheat ?
I like all of this option, might dial it back on the cream or maybe a dollop of coconut milk instead of cows creme.
I would like to try on hard shell tacos with pico de gallo
The metal spoon on the nonstick pan hurt my soul. Still trying this recipe tho (minus the teflon scrapings) 😋
If you watch closely, the spoon only touches the food itself. He switched to the silicone one when had to touch the pan.
@@vacantandstainedd you can clearly hear it scraping lol

@@shortyfry85 who cares Karen. I love that sound
I have a a lot of vegan Mexican food on my channel also and I look up to you chef!
A delicious vegan alternative for anyone who likes tacos.
Mr. Bayless, everybody still likes you!
loved cauliflower since I was a kid, but is it a popular / common veggie in Mexico / South AM?
Swap in tahini sauce for the crema and this is a bomb vegan taco too!
At first, I was like no Tahini is not Mexican? Then, I thought for a second, and was like - Fusion! Great idea. I have to try it 👍
Mancow mentioned you this week on his show. I guess you guys are friends? If so thats so awesome! Love you both!
Rick, What's the item that was holding your warm tortillas? Do you warm them up in it, or is it simply a way to keep them warm?
Im not vegetarian but they look so good 😊 thank you
Yummy !!!!!
Hi Rick, which local farm near Chicago did you get the cauliflower?
Legend!
My coworker and I loved this one (continuing ed here at work), but we agreed that we'd probably add some chicken to the mix ;)
2 questions... if you're in town right now, how are ya doing with the temps? Goodness!!
And, I'm going to be up that way in a couple of weeks... do you think it's too late to make reservations for the middle of Feb at Topolobampo? Not Valentine's Day, but maybe a day or so later.
From utah i love to watch you cook and speak great vibes hottie
Please show us how to make crema with heavy cream and a culture starter!
Hola A mí me gusta mucho el coliflor y pienso que esos tacos me van a gustar mucho Me gustaría la receta de la crema por favor
This is more of a guiso that would be eaten with tortillas.
I've never been able to figure out Mexican crema. It's nice and runny, unlike sour cream. It's not as sour. I imagine cream fraiche is a little sweet, a little fluffier than heavy cream. They may be interchangeable for this, but not for making ice cream. We tried making ice cream with Mexican cream (in Mexico) and it never worked. We had to get heavy cream from HEB.
What the Hell is the Growing
Season in Chicago ??? 3 Months Max ??? Maybe 😸
What a Wide Variety of TastEee looking Vegetables!
Does anyone know of a Vegan alternative to the crema and cheese? Seems like a great vegan/vegetarian dinner.
Señor Bayless . If you get a chance to see this comment, what substitute would you utilize instead of the “crema”. Saludos from your friend in Tijuana/San Diego!
Skiieeeuuupp!!!! ...Oh wait.....
Hi Rick, I was looking for an enchilada recipe but maybe that’s more Tex mex. Anyway I see often the UA-camr cook will dredge each tortilla in warm oil to make them easy to roll. Is that how you do it? I have in the past warmed them in the microwave between damp paper towels. They do sometimes split or crack a bit. Was just wondering your thoughts. PS. I chuckle a bit when I see the Julia Child show that you did with her. So young 😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍
Check out my taco TUESDAY every TUESDAY!!!!
1:25…”hold Pablano over the gas burner..” What, in your hand, on pan…?

Thanks for doing vegetarian. Would love to see more vegan and vegetarian items
Looks tasty. But you forgot the avocado.
You've sure got that right, Rick. After awful over-boiled cauliflower so many of us had in our childhood, it took some convincing to get people to try cauliflower again. Your creamy cauliflower in this video sure look great! I get my guests to embrace cauliflower with my Popcorn Cauliflower--a great party finger food even kids like! It's oven-baked and sure converts a many cauliflower skeptics. I haven't done a video of it yet, but the recipe is requested often, so it's on my food site, enlightnedcook.com
C'mon Rick , Cauiflower tacos.....Stop the Madness
Try 'em first.
(: It's no different than having Cole Slaw & a Hamburger at a Barbecue!!!!! ☺ Think about that!!!!! It's all good!!!!!........ ♩
Note for you: Cauliflower helps to prevent the dreadful disease of cancer!!!!! So nothing to lose by eating it a little bit more & raw (washed) is the best form of it!!!
You can make this recipe any way you want.....with whatever ingred.
you prefer, just add meat to it... (:
Cauliflower? Vile weed! No bueno.
Tacos tacos y mas tacos ya me aburrieron los tacos
Puro pinches tacos
@@teodorovazquez3136 necesitas probar mi tacolgado, de seguro te encantará es muy recomendado para paladares exigentes como el tuyo

Disgusting.
Cauliflower is great, but tacos require cows and pigs. Try again.
