- This was previously available as a build kit, which I never bought. In October 2022, Bethesda announced three limited editions Pip-Boys from the Wand Company - to be available in 2023.
Well now we have the first one! The blue/yellow Fallout 76 color scheme of the Pip-Boy 2000Mk VI Replica Limited Edition Vault-Tec is available to purchase on Big Bad Toy Store and Bethesda's website. It is about $180, but let me tell you - it's worth it. This comes pre-assembled with working flickering screen and vacuum tubes. No need to waste time tinkering and putting it together yourself (especially wiring the electronics) - it just works out of the box. I love it. I am so impressed that I may end up buying the other two variants (if I have the extra cash or availability).
This is perfect for any Cosplayers or just fan of the Fallout series, as I am.
I think the one thing I didn’t consider is that it doesn’t come with a basic stand or even decorative box to set it on, so I’m struggling with how to display it. If anyone has suggestions, I’d rather not shell out another $100 for the official Wand Company stand just yet.
You and I are in the same boat, re: wanting a stand for display. I ended buying the $100 stand... and I'm worried that the stand may sell out now that there are more interests and I'm on the fence about buying two more stands for the forthcoming two other Pip-Boy... I don't have a 3-D printer, but I'm sure someone already figured out how to print a stand.
I'm currently working on a stand while I wait for mine to arrive. I'd be happy to share the STL files with you when it's done.

and it costs about 400-500£ if you live in the UK XD due to import taxes, and shipping fees, what a scam
I'm sorry about the import taxes, it works the same way here - where things are much more expensive if I had to import some UK-only things. I can only suggest you find someone in the USA to get it sent to their residency (it's $4 to ship via Big Bad Toys). They can then mail you the item from their home. You can declare the item as a gift, I don't know how much it will cost, but it'll probably be much cheaper than £400-500
@@WeheartmusicI buy stuff all the time from other countries and never paid any import fee ever. Even all my classmates in college were jealous because our electricity book was too expensive in US for anyone to afford so I bought mine from India for $20 instead of $400. I also regularly buy from Koei Tecmo EU and NISA EU and never paid fee.
So on the screen is there some sort of sheet over it? Or is it supposed to be like that? I have one on it’s way and I wanna know a bit so I don’t mess anything up
It's just a protective film, you need to remove it.

The little black wire on the bottom right is not fully connected what do I do? (Edit) ok so I put it back in place but is that wire important? It doesn’t Seem to have a problem but I just wanna know first

Looks cool but on etsy people sell homemade ones with much better screens that aren't all greened out.

I think you just have to add the alpha together, for example, I think STN is #142 or something. I think the VTC is the date it was manufactured (22-20-03) (March 20, 2022). Just a theory. I don't know, what is your number ?

OK, here's what I worked out: 2022-20-03 (manufacture date), the next set is the limit: 2220 items (I wonder if the extra 20 are promotional or set aside for the owners), and your number is 1221 (L = 12, b = 2, a = 1).
