Absolutely fantastic motion! The club is in constant drag. More importantly, he very effectively utilizes the speed/power momentum generated from parametric acceleration and compounds it with angular acceleration. The effective use of parametric and angular acceleration is exactly why he was one of the longest players of his era.
Christo I have been fascinated by Bruen's swing for some time. One thing I see when he takes it inside, the shaft and clubhead do not get outside of his trail forearm arm going to the top. Pretty much the shaft is in line with trail forearm except briefly when he slots it and re-centers himself. Thank you for talking about Bruen, a truly amazing swing he had.
I may have watched this video 30 times already. I’ve loved the swing of Jimmy bruen and so few have complimented or even broken down his swing. I tried to do my version of it over a year ago because I was doing it all wrong. I was swing it out to in and not with that OTT move. I went to the range yesterday afternoon and understanding that element of it now I flushed so many irons it was amazing! Thanks for the video!
I'm so happy for you, Joseph. That's great news!
Wow good man!!! Being Irish myself i’m loving this one…. The great JB
Would you believe I'm half-Irish? My grandpa was from Derry!
@@MiracleSwingExperience no way Christo? i never knew & i love derry great city, loving all the extra content lately as well 👍⛳️
Really famous golf name down in cork. Lot of dedication stones in local courses referencing his achievements 👍
I’d love to visit someday !!!
You are looping it over the Inside Figure 8 Shape Swing. This is your best swing yet. No flat shoulder turn going back. You are keeping the hands inside the clubface in the swing. This is what Mr. Hogan told Gary Player. Don't round out your shoulder turn going back. Use this swing on every club. Very Very Good!
Whoa. Didn’t expect that reaction, Billy. I was fooling around! 😮
Nice video! Such a freewheeling swing. From what I've read he was very long as well. You should consider looking into Brendon DeJonge's swing as well....
Oh yes. For sure I’ll check it out!
the Ju Ju swing. check out Brad Petersen
Oh, yeah. I've seen that before. It's similar.
I don't think Wolfe takes it inside. I think hentakes ot way outside, up and UNDER...
Yes, you're right. He's dropping it under but it's the club way across the line at the top that I'm referring to.
Agreed Jimmy Bruen finishes DOWN(over and down) and left but Wolff finishes UP(under and up) and left
@@jacobr4558 They aren't the same but they both really keep the club head outside of the hands on the takeaway.
Definitely agree! Yet the downswing for Bruen is over in the downswing for Wolff is under
@@jacobr4558yes Wolff comes more from the inside out in the downswing. The 8 figure swing. 👍
You nailed it with the Matt Wolff comparison. The guy really was a prodigy. Sadly, his golf took a downwards turn when he dropped a heavy garden stone on his wrist. He never was the same again having to constantly fight off pain nearly every time he played.
That is a tragedy 😢
So, Wolff issue was temporarily physical, but at this point, it's clear he's battling some serious mental demons with his game. It's a bummer. I really like watching him play.
the legend has it that when bruen was practising with his irons he would stand on the BALL befour hitting the shot
Would be cool to see you really try to emulate Bruen's swing. Your slow-mo practice swings are fairly close, but your actual swing looks no different than your usual swing
That. Right elbow tucked in at top as well as downswing. No over the top move.
Eamon Darcy comes to mind!
Feel vs Real. LOL!
It’s so crazy what that felt like. Looked perfectly normal!!! Haha
Bruen makes it look like a dance or as they say in Ireland a jig.
He was a great swinger for sure!
I like the way the old guys played golf. Swings were unique. Today all players generally look the same. It's only impact that matters.
reminds me of Martin Ayers teachings
Oh, that’s a wild comparison!
Love the analysis. You will probably need a ton of practice swings in t front of a mirror to learn to make that swing correctly though. Like u said, u are nowhere close to that move despite your fee.s
The next time you speak with ELK, tell him Martin Ayres on Northbound Golf is "jumbling incoherently."
I think he is trapped inside of some "black hole of thought" where information is sucked in never to be seen or understood ever again. Be grateful your communication skills are legible.
Martin hits the ball so great in person. He’s very complex.
@@MiracleSwingExperience He's RAMBLING
Ah Jimmy Brutal
Impossible for us mere mortals to duplicate this swing. Similar to Couples in that way.
They’ve got some great coaches in Ireland, obviously. Cue Eamon Darcy : ua-cam.com/video/S7S8LyE0HpY/v-deo.html
Right on!
Think it is Jimmy Bruen….not Bruin….
Oops. Let me check that spelling. Thank you, kindly.
