When I first heard him talk about not mocking religion anymore after he was convinced he was wrong because Sam's mothers eyes were miraculously healed, it scared me too. I first heard it in Toronto when he played at the Winter Garden Theatre on June 3, 2011.
I was introduced to his work over two years ago. His albums and documentary are worth watching. He is getting famous but really has a unique audience. He has appeared on many talk shows to play his tunes.
LOL, "love without evidence-- is stalking..." Did he just say that all christians are "jesus-stalkers"? Anyway, Tim needs to update his "Woody Allen Jesus" song to include "Woody Allen - magic - zombie - komodo dragon - superhero - OPHTHALMOLOGIST - Jesus"! P.S. That was good advice that Tim gave at the end: if you have time to complain about his songs, why don't you write a letter to make a complaint about the Pope covering for child molesters...
Let's apply the Socratic Method... A) If there is a god (big if I admit, but go with it), then B) it's morality would by definition have to be perfect (even better than that of we mere atheists, I mean), therefore..... I'm pretty fucking sure that god would love that fucking song because it would fucking well agree!
I damn well agree. It would definitely be questioning whether humanity was a good idea if it saw that the guy they elected to spread the word defends assholes who fuck children.
06:15 Thank You God - 13:05 If I Didn't Have You - 17:54 The Pope Song
"It's a pity, 300 years after the Enlightenment, we have to be here having a rally about the fucking obvious."
This song has to be hell for the sign language dude there.
I was there :D Couldn't believe I hadn't heard of Tim Minchin before this event!
Been listening to Tim for a couple years now. He's Brilliant! Whenever I'm feeling down, I go to UA-cam and listen to Tim. Instant Cure.
He's so good, it's like HE's heaven sent.

What are you asking? The rally occurred in March of 2012. Next one will likely be in 2016. The Pope Song was the song near the end of the video.

I forgot the signer during the last song, lol!
I was there loved it!
Your welcome. It was great being there. End of this month is the 50th anniversary American Atheist convent in Austin Texas...... I will be there.
Kudos to the signer.
Can you imagine the fatwahs if the pope song was about a certain religious figure that starts with an M?
+Veagle Mars you mean? Those angry Roman heathens could blow Tim up.
What's your point here?
@@JohnSmith-os9mq is it not clear enough already?
Thank you sound guy for turning up the piano.
Look up "Tim Minchin - I Love Jesus" . Hilarious.
I would have loved to have been there to see him! He’s amazing!
I love Tim Minchin, and the Pope Song is the best!!
Minchin ended that song with a strong STRONG right hook.
the Pope Song could also be used with Trump with little change
I knew he was joking, and I loved it.
