    V2L is a must. Especially for camping trips.

    Great video! Are you able to show us what you used to black out the windows please? Were they curtains? Thank you

      Thanks so much! We used blankets and a car windshield sun shade to cover the windows 😊

    To sleep in the Kia did you fold down 3rd and 2nd row seats or just 3rd? Were you comfortable? Great vid, thanx.

      Yes, we folded down both the 2nd and 3rd-row seats and we were comfortable! There're plenty of space for two people to sleep. Thanks for watching! 😊

      Thank you! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the review. While we didn’t record the kWh info, we can confirm that the documented mileage for our trip was 1,241 miles. Hope this helps!

    Very nice -- thank very much!
    Was there some camping mode available like in Tesla Y e.g. ventilation, Aircon and/or heating during your good night sleep?

    • @XiomaraGerardo

      Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the Kia EV9 has a utility mode that works similarly to Tesla's Camp Mode. It lets you power things like the infotainment system, climate control, and interior lights using the car's battery while you're parked or camping, so it's great for a comfortable night’s sleep in the car.

    What did you use for privacy on the windows while camping?

    • @XiomaraGerardo
      @XiomaraGerardo  6 днів тому

      We went DIY and used blankets and a car windshield sun shade for privacy! Simple and effective!

    If Kia recommend charging between 10% - 80%, the effective range is only 196 miles/315 kms.

    Can you post a link for the mattress you slept on in the EV9?

    How do you wash a matte Car finish? I know you can't wash it at a traditional car wash and ruin the paint, right?
    what options are you missing on the Land, that only the GT-Line has, besides the Digital LED lights that are only on the Gloss Land and GT-Line trims?

    • @XiomaraGerardo
      @XiomaraGerardo  2 місяці тому +2

      Great questions!
      You’re right-a matte finish requires special care to avoid damaging the paint. You should avoid automatic car washes and instead wash it gently by hand. Kia actually has a helpful video: ua-cam.com/video/3X7FCALRuk4/v-deo.html
      As for, some features that the GT-Line has that the Land trim doesn’t: a Head-Up Display, GT-Line’s SynTex Seat Trim, stainless steel-trimmed pedals, 21-inch alloy wheels, GT-Line body styling, and more gloss black accents on areas like the roof rails, among others.

    Only issue holding me back on EV are price of battery when it gets depleted and how many years before you replace the batteries?

    • @XiomaraGerardo
      @XiomaraGerardo  Місяць тому +1

      That’s a valid concern! On average, we found that EV batteries, including those in Kia models, are designed to last around 10 to 20 years before needing replacement.
