Excellent job Harry on setting the left forearm in a position to get straighter shots with the irons. I like the use of the magnetic face alignment rod to see where the clubface is pointing. Also the extended alignment rod for a better takeaway. I do use the external forearm rotation, but not consistently, but will try to do more so in the future! Well Done Harry!

Wouldn't this automatically make for a strong grip?

Hi thanks for commenting, very good question, if you're finding this is and isue you face, then grip the club as normal then force your lead elbow to face the target, that way you wont change the grip.

Sorry for complaining but again you are saying to rotate the left forearm and you are actually rotating your left upper arm in your shouldersocket, and then you say to keep the left forearm in place but you are actually rotating it while keeping the upper arm in place. It's confusing. Because to do it the way you say is to do it totally opposite of what you show.

Hi Robin, thanks for your input again, if my terminology used is wrong, the demonstrations are correct, so as long as you have your lead elbow facing towards the target, gripping the club as normal, you'll be all set to get this into place.

Agree....he has it backwards. Shoulder needs to stay more internal, otherwise upper arm rotation allows for face to slam shut, regardless of grip/forearm set up

Thanks for commenting with your method to utilise the lead arm set up position, have you given this way a try at the range?
