to be fair, there was nothing wrong with picking the clippers as your tittle favorite based on talent alone. But the media did not stop there. They basically crowned this team from game one of the season and from there the narrative took off. It also didn't help that Leonard was over glorified for beating the crippled warriors. I'm glad now people recognized the raptors were a great team already that needed Kawhi as much as he needed them.

In the end he wasn’t the same when he came back and there were multiple player injuries so they never could built chemistry. Still averaged 27 8 8 on 51% shooting in a terrible year.

As for the injury LeBron is the one who said playoff mode was "activated" so that's still on him for not making the playoffs, after all they always brag and say that LeBron can take bums/cadavers to the finals so based on that he should have at least gotten them in the playoffs.

Whoever says he got AD should think about this...Take LBJ out of the team, would that team go to the finals? AD was in the Pelicans with a much better team (Younger Rondo, healthy Cousins, Jrue Holiday, etc) and they couldn’t even make conference finals...LBJ is the system, he could get a few folks from the YMCA and get them to the finals, heck he dit it with Cavs 4 years after getting in the league

@Dats a paddlin His path has been extremely hard, I’ll admit I was an MJ and Kobe lover growing up. I hated LBJ when he 1st came, I didn’t understand his game and felt it wasn’t refined. He won me over through the years. His a different kind of player...I’ve never seen anything like that. He’s has a hard path all in all but he has been consistent through the years and had to adapt to a changing NBA (Eurostep, Big 3, 3 Pts shows, analytics, etc). Enjoy this while it last, a player who at any point can drop 40-15-10 on any team, that’s special.

It is Docs fault. He is the one that had poor rotations when they were up by 20. He should have closed out game 5. He has no real offensive scheme and just leaves things to the players. Also why didn't he insist all the players enter the bubble together to build chemistry? Only half the squad arrived on time which is a joke. The players aren't blameless especially Harell and lou and PG13 but the coach was terrible. Glad that he got removed as the ingredients are all there except for a PG.

They had the game won and he Brung in Taco and had them go zone and switch to man to man witch left a guy wide open to hit a 3 and win the game. They ended up having to go 7 to win that series. Doc Rivers lost all credibility to me when he gave his son Austin a $35 million/3 years contract that he didn't deserve during the Lob City era. Austin Rivers belongs in the G-league. When Doc was GM, he decided to go with nepotism instead of doing what was good for the team. Doc is a trash as a GM and a coach. As a coach he choked with a stacked Lob City Team. He choked with our current stacked roster of Kawhi and PG-13 and a great supporting cast. Doc has consistently underachieved with great talent even dating back to when he had Prime Tmac. Outside of Pop, Phil Jackson, Kerr...hes had the most talent the last 20 years & only has 2 finals appearances with 1 chip.

several times during the regular season, there were rumors coming out of the clippers camp of teammates being upset at the special treatment of the 2 divas(Kawhi/PG). there was no chemistry because of load management. Kawhi and PG missing practice and taking days off whenever they felt like it.
