    What happened to the 76ers yesterday in Boston should come as no surprise to anyone and that’s because as you’re teams core you have Joel “can’t get outta the second round” Embiid, James “chokes in the big games” Harden & they’re coached by Doc “blows a series lead” Rivers

    Embiid and Doc did the same thing when they lost to Atlanta placed the blame at the feet of Ben. For the record Ben didn’t play good but a star player and the Head Coach shouldn’t be putting the loss on the other star player when it’s a team game. These dudes have no accountability and you can never win with guys like that.

    Devil's Advocate: Philly wasn't picked by ANYONE to win this series. So, taking it to 7 games was overachieving.
    On the Real: Harden only came out East to get an easy ring and we've all been witness to how that's gone 🤏 (see also Kyrie and KD). 75%+ of his career's been about sticking his leg out and flailing his arms around and falling on the floor and whining to the refs and shooting free throws. Was soooooo nice to see them ignore him, for the most part, in this series. Should put a reel together of his career flops 🍿👀👎. It's bad for the league, it's bad for sports, and it's a bad influence on Embiid who's already contracted that disease. Philly's gotta shake that flop mentality and come correct.
    Ben Simmons: After everyone on the planet vilified the dude, he just had his best Sunday ever sitting on the couch and staring at a screen. Epic portions of karma were dished around in this series.

    I do not agree with y’all. The common denominator is not Doc Rivers. ITS THE INCONSISTENCY FROM THE SUPERSTARS HE COACHED. Cmon man PG and Kawhi blew that 3-1 lead, kawhi having 4 points in the 2nd half of game 7 and then James Harden and Embiid combing for only 24??? James harden alone should’ve had 24+ with Embiid going for 40??? How can you coach when your superstars don’t truly want it?!?!?! GAME 7 is about your SUPERSTARS. Who really wants to win???? Who’s going all out to make sure they can go home, look in the mirror regardless of the results and say “I gave everything I could out on the floor tonight” and you live with it. But the way they quit shouldn’t be on no person but themselves. Poor Doc man it’s just not fair to blame him. I’ll only accept him not closing game 6 out, yes he has some fault there. Idk how Chris forgot all about Giannis getting embarrassed in the playoffs after he won MVP. Embiid went out looking bad but Giannis was literally unplayable vs the Heat after he won MVP and his team looked better without him.

    Rob shaming Embiid but KD was trash against the nuggets and got blown out even worse and loss in 6 after getting swept last year. Yet, Rob only had sympathy for KD. Not saying Embiid deserves sympathy, because he played like garbage. Just think it's funny how bias comes into play

    Is it possible to consider the players? I get it about Doc, BUT...
    Chris Paul still hasn't won after multiple tries at multiple franchises.
    Kawhi still hasn't won under Ty Lue and has barely played in the post season.
    James Harden has been a no show on mukti6ome teams in multiple postseasons.
    I'm just saying that you can literally do with these other players' history what you are doing with Doc Rivers' history.

    • @projectgraham414
      @projectgraham414 Рік тому +2

      The Clippers beat the Suns if Kawhi played. But that's the problem: Kawhi couldn't play.... again. That isn't on Ty Lue. PG was out too, so it was on Westbrook and co. And to their credit, they at least fought. Can't say the same for Embiid

    • @st.clairguishard1893
      @st.clairguishard1893 Рік тому +2

      Kawhi is a winner so you cannot put Kawhi in that situation. Doc Rivers is the damn problem and Kawhi just hasn't won yet with Ty because he has been literally hurt practically all the years Ty has been there. But whenever Kawhi is fully healthy you can count on him. There is no player in the league I will choose over a healthy Kawhi in the playoffs. He is just a different player in the playoffs.

    Has any coach done less with more like Doc Rivers? Obviously I don’t know anything to be competent to criticize the dude but to look back at all the talent on the rosters he’s had and the results that came from it is wild. In the 24 seasons as a head coach he’s been in the playoffs 19/24 times which sounds good enough. But of the 19 playoff trips he’s had the following: 8 losses in the first round, 8 losses in the semi finals, 1 loss in the conference finals, 1 loss in the NBA finals and 1 ring. When thinking of the talent he’s had to coach 16/19 playoff trips they didn’t get past the second round. He’s given up a 3-1 series lead three times, which is around 25% of all 3-1 series lead losses ever. He’s had another 4 series lost when his team has a 3-2 lead. And his teams when they have three wins in a playoff series are 16-33. Feels crummy to dump on the dude in a sense but it’s hard to say anything besides the dude has underachieved with the rosters he’s been given like crazy and if he didn’t have that one ring in Boston he’d have probably been over and done ten years ago. Was always head scratching how teams that wanted a to get them over the second round hump decided Doc was the one to do it considering his track record says opposite. But even so he will probably get a job somewhere else cause nothing has stopped him yet. Although it may be nice if he took a non contender and built then rather than landing in yet another spot with a stacked roster where anything short of the conference finals is failure. Maybe rediscover some joy by building something of his own rather than guiding the pieces that were already there.

    Winning in sports is all about making adjustments. Doc or his staff didn't make any. Embid settled for jump shits instead of posting down low and using his size (aka Joker). Where was the Harden that scored 45? Gotta go o down swinging and call a TO and and get everyone on the same page and then execute. Doc gotta know this and I'm wondering what Sam Cassell was thinking as he saw this happen.

    I trusted the Process would fail from the beginning. Drafting 3 centers in a row was stupid, I never thought Embiid was that guy, nor Ben Simmons, and advocated for them to acquire Jimmy Butler 2yrs prior to when they did-because I knew none of them had that fight in them. Ben and Joel wanted marshmallow stats: all-stars, mvps, ROY, all defensive team…they have no heart to fight for the real prize.
    If I was Tatum at the end of game 7, when Embiid tried to walk up on me, I’d go Nino Brown on him: “sit yo $5 ass down before I make change!”
    Embiid is a chump. So is that Sixer team as long as Doc Rivers is HC.
