MJ is the only person in history to win 3 finals mvps in a row, then does it again on the same team with out jumping onto better teams nor creating super teams, best defender & offensive player at the same time for many years in a row. he retired & missed 2 years during his peak so technically it was possible for him to win 8 rings in a row as ridicules as that sounds. 6 for 6 & no game 7s... people need to stop mentioning Lebrons name near Michaels seriously its laughable...

Mike was the start of the nike brand so they had to build him up to be who he was. It helped nikes revenue and jordans brand as well. Jordan had everything he needed built around him to win from the coaches to players to the refs to everyone idolizing him like hes a god due to all the media attention and commercials and posters for michael, again being built up with all the hype. Please note that jordan scores 666 in the playoffs to beat the suns and get his 3rd chip and his dad died right after on july 23rd of 1993. Jordans gambling could have been involved in his dads death. Jordan aint stand up for nun of his people. Name the greatest to do it and i bet you they always had a voice for their people and could care less about how it would affect their brand. Clear example of selling your soul to be seen as the greatest player ever. Be real. You give another player the opportunity and green light to do whatever they want on the court and take as many shots as they want and see what they do. You put his bulls against all those teams with like one all star and you see why he was always the favorite. If you always the favorite and you win, does that mean you went through adversity? Helll naw. You was supposed to win dude. You got all the help on your team. His bulls were the current day warriors with KD. Its obvious why he won. The bulls had one less loss without him when jordan left and scottie led. So what does that tell you? Jordan had lots of damn help. Rodman had to flop and do all these dumb ass antics just to get the bigs out the game to beat the sonics and jazz. Go watch the finals again.

I think Bob has a really good point about the ending. Part of why the end of that Bulls dynasty was such an amazing ending to the team, and the end to MJs true prime as we know it and the reason why his time with the wizards is almost universally ignored by everyone, is that the run ending with that sixth championship while MJ was still dominating the game and the perception that’s always remained about Krause tearing away that team and never giving them a chance to play until they lost and the enduring “what if” that will always endure is why the end was so immense. The fact that we truly will always have to wonder what could’ve been if they’d been brought back to run it back is what keeps it in the front of people’s minds to this day. In reality they probably don’t win ring 7 because a lot of those guys weren’t going to sacrifice tens of millions to try for another and the team wasn’t wrong in their assessment of guys like Rodman.
Maybe if MJ abd Phil did return they could’ve grabbed some pieces to win again. After all they did still have Harper and Kukoc and some other pieces but they’d have lost Scottie and Kerr. But even if they did do that would it have felt as special if it wasn’t those same guys? I’m not so sure. I think the magic is the mystery and ability to ignore the realities that the team itself probably didn’t have a ton of years left and that the final year ended as it did primarily because of the out of this world will of MJ to not let them lose and overcome all the drama tearing things apart. He was ready to be done if you look back at that time as it happened he just seems like he’s fired up now that he’s had time.

I'd rather MJ have not come back with the Wizards, but I don't look badly on those years anymore. The dude retired twice, and anyone that's athletic knows what your body does when you stop doing something as an older person. Your body changes...not in a good way..and sometimes drastically. Jordan did that twice, and still was dropping 40+ point games on people while in his 40's. Not only had his body changed, but the players and the league changed in that time. That's just how ahead of things and athletic MJ was. As an aging athlete myself, that to me is exceedingly impressive, and it get's overlooked.

I agree. And some people are trying to be extra about every gambling game he played with people. For instance, Will Purdue said they played Black Jack for $1 and he was pitching quarters with security....but you let some people (Skip Bayless) tell it he lost so much money from those games too. Now, if that true...so many people be we so rich over off Jordan from playing games with him. It kills me how some people make money off inflaming stories as truth when there is no truth to it. Then they wonder why to do this date Jordan only speaks to certain reporters in the public. He had to do a least one interview for the Last Dance and he did it with Robin Roberts (someone he respects). I believe an ESPN personality, Stuart Scott, (with it airing on Good Morning America) would have gotten that interview if he was still alive.

      Ha ha ha. I laughed.
But, to clear the air, (pun intended) Jordan did average more assists a game career than KB24 R.I.P.
      cheers

Michael Jordan cares more about his money then he cares about politics and how it relates to the black community. That's the Difference between him and Muhammad Ali. That's the reason why Muhammad Ali is respected around the world and is called the greatest of all time not only because of his boxing but because of his Humanity

I don't care about politics. You shouldn't either. It's all scripted nonsense. And once you play their game, you get played. The BLM players are being played.
I gave up WWF wrestling in the fourth grade.
I do respect Ali tho for his stance on war. His quotes about Vietnam are great. "I ain't got no quarrel with the Vietcong!"

I think we can all see the media doing what they have always done with Jordan...produced so much media hype that people will overrate him. If any other superstar got as much exposure as Jordan... they would be considered the GOAT by the mob..lol. Lebron is better than Jordan..so was Wilt and a few others

MJ is great. Top 4-5 for sure. Be he's no Lebron and this doc only proves it. He wasn't even a good person :(

LOL. That's ridiculous. LeBron is a beast but he's no MJ.
I'd like to see LeBron play in a real man's game in the 90's when defenders didn't get out of the way.
That said, MJ is no angel, but he IS the GOAT.

We no he's no Bron, LeBron change his team and teammates like he changes his underwear, LeBron don't have no flash to his game because he can't play off ball or jump off 2 feet

@@JmSantos78 Game is much harder now. Players run 2-3 times more total distance per game. Their bodies need to be in much better shape.

@@MalrickEQ2 That's misleading. Now technology is better, training is focused on body enhancement, etc. I'm talking about talent and beauty of movement, not how many miles you can run in a day. And today you can't be "the Pistons". If a fly goes by, it's a foul. Men we're men back then, not robots that you can't even breath heavily on.
