This blue 389 is my dads old truck it came from West Virginia! I can't believe I just came across this video. All he hauled was sawdust and pipe for the pipeline!

The way those lights on the cart made those wheels on cash money look bronze was amazing. I would look into making the bronze colored personally. Looked so good.

We have had many gliders built by Fitzgerald come through our shop seeking warranty work, In most cases we were able to with no problems most issues came up when we had engine problems and the glider cam with a Fitzgerald rebuilt and that would set off the owner, since we couldn't file warranty direct with Detroit or Cummins, the owner had 3 options, 1 wait for Fitzgerald to approve repairs, and in many cases they wanted to send the parts for repairs, pay for the repairs and hash it out with Fitzgerald, or try to limp it down to Fitzgerald for warranty repair, just something to think about when your relying on warranty to cover your first few years of repairs not to mention down time.
I like all your videos and the way you include your family and especially your son, Teach them young and I have a Daughter but she's a tough one and I love getting her involved in all the same stuff as you do with Braxton , But she's16 years old but a pistol, lol and I love those old trucks also as I only run one a 2001 kw, w900L 550 HP plus some extras you cant beat a yellow motor but those Detroits are awesome Too.
I drive a Fitzgerald ICON W-900 with a Fitzgerald in house rebuilt DD S-60. It now has 300k and I'm about to drop a new motor in it. I haven't met anyone that has a Fitzgerald rebuild motor that is happy with it. Our DD rebuild truck is relativy problem free. If the motor is the same cor as the truck, run like hell!

Just watched you delivering to the three ponds with the walking floor trailer. Hauled garbage with those things to local Georgia land fills. Also worked on them when I worked my way into the shop. Replacing broken axles at the land fill in 3 feet of mud while it's raining. Good times. Just brought back more memories. Maggots and garbage juice dripping on you while you work on the truck was not my favorite part. But, hey, you do what you have to to make a living. Love the videos. Thought I'd see more comments on how nice cash money way. For 15k more than silver bullet it wouldn't even be a question. The color alone makes it prettier to me. Silver is everywhere and never green anymore especially dark green like that.

One word of advice is you don’t need to use each 1/2 gear when ur bobtail.. Even up in Canada here where we pull 130000 pd loads I don’t use split shifts till I’m in 2nd high range.. I’m a 6NZ cat fan but I’m sure that Detroit is good too
Never understood how Trucks go "backwards"? By that I mean, My KW T-700 on it's "Instant On " for Fuel Mileage said Many times when pulling an empty trailer. I'd get 9 Miles per Gal. pretty steady! When I was Dead Head between 10-12. Loved that Truck! It was a 2011, T-700! Ever since, Paccar seems to have gotten worse, running 7 an 8 per Gal vs 9 to 12 with an Automatic Transmission. It was the Australian T-700 Model ! So in 2011, Paccar put out a Truck New, that got better Mileage then New in 2020!! Like I said "Backwards" I don't get that!!! Don't think I ever will. Strange!!

Shit, you can get way more than 600hp with a 12.7!😂 Mines WAS making 700hp. PDI Stage 1 is an overpriced Borg Warner 171702 turbo. Get an S430SX 78mm turbo, Full Tilt Manifold, a good damn tuner & 700 is easy to achieve. There’s guys making 850+hp on a 12.7. Even hp more with a 14L. You just gotta know what parts to put in it to make it last.😎

389 body with a pre elog crate engine is below 130k .... there ain't no way they put 70k of extras on that truck lol
